Bronze age park with giant trees, open grassland, meadows, riber, lake and wooded areas, gardens, fairy tale bridge! Amazing place to take a tour with your friends and family to enjoy a lovely outing. You can visit the cafe of the park to avail freshly cooked breakfast and more...

Beautiful park with plenty of walking paths, ponds, streams, ducks and swans. Has a cafe and nice play area of kids. It’s dog friendly. There is a beautiful church near the park. Plenty of parking space available at both the entrances.

Amazing park that has something for everyone. From dog walkers to families to bird watchers to joggers to ladies who lunch to stream wadders (in the summer 😁) to walkers. I have so many nice things to say that I doubt there are enough characters to convey. It has a playground, a stream, and a beautiful pond with swans and ducks. There is a lovely pub/cafe whose staff are excellent and very dog friendly. There is a really picturesque church right in the centre. There are QR codes scattered around on posts that lead you to fun things to do with the kids or provide info about the wildlife. There are lots of carparks and one secret one that is free. You'll have to find that one for yourself as I like to park there and don't want my space nicked. πŸ˜‚

Awesome as always - it's a peaceful break from the stresses of working or in my case, learning. I went on a rather gloomy day but it was still the most peace I've had in a while. Enjoy the geese and ducks! The pond is just amazing - the water level is a lot lower now, though. The open area feeds the soul. There's a cafΓ© too but I didn't buy anything - parking is plentiful. Be sure to bring a bike if you visit because you will be able to cruise around and look at the scenery as you pass by.

Awesome place to relax. You can feed those birds with grains and don't feed them with bread. It's not good for their health and water quality of the water stream. Have a wonderful time with your ❀️ one.

Beautiful as ever, amazing trees, all stunning shades of yellow, orange, and red as they shed their leaves. Lovely cafe. Busy as ever. Nice to see them making a good turnover. Excellent play park for the kiddies. Picnic benches around the park. Pathway around the perimeter, which is suitable for joggers and cyclists. The river wandle runs through this park. There is a wildfowl area, so lots of ducks and geese to feed. Dogs can run off the lead here and not disturb the wildfowl or children, as the green space here is huge. There are many groups that meet here for different activities. I've been coming here since I was a baby. Over 40 years. So the park is very familiar to me, I recommend coming here to everyone who enjoys the beauty of nature and the freedom of the outdoors.

Very lovely park to visit, especially in the early morning for a jog or even a walk with the family or all alone. It's very clean and close to Hackbridge station, which makes it an ideal choice for a lot of Hackbridge residents. Even the water bodies around the park have very beautiful birds all around. Very peaceful and definitely recommended..

I had gone to Beddington Park many years ago for a friend's registry. At the time, I only saw a small but beautiful nonetheless, corner of the park. This time I was able to go with my family. Its large and spacious with the river Wandle running through. There is lots to see and explore or even go for a quiet, relaxing walk.

Large park with lots of space, ponds, woodland, river, sports areas, playground and a cafe. It is a nice place to go for a walk and has quite a few different entrances. It has car parks and seemed to be well served by public transport.

I still love this park but just lost my dog to two big American Pitbull dogs. The dogs were off lead and unfortunately attacked my 17 year old Girl. I didn’t know this information but Pitt Bulls are a banned breed and have to always be on leads and muzzled. Also, these dogs need to have a permit to be walked. Even with that permit they have to be kept on leads and muzzled.

Beautiful park all Year long. Big variety of birds to watch. Few man made waterfalls and bridges. Big play ground with good quality cafe next to play ground. On offer Cornwall ice creams also Ice cream for dogs! Free car parks all around park. This park have plenty of open spaces for kite letting or more trees surrounded areas to hide from winds. My favourite location in this park Grange with beautiful posh restaurant and its garden seating area for those who came with dogs or prefer enjoy outside eating. All around park is very beautiful. People in the area very nice and polite too. It was nice talking : some came to talk and we made a chat to some. It was beautiful Sunday couple hours walk. In February .

I love this park, and have so many great memories here. My children have played in the swing park, we've had many picnics, even a birthday party 'sports day' style once. I now walk my German Shepard here, and he thoroughly enjoys it. Other friendly dog walkers. My dog also loves running in the lake here. There's beautiful flowers, plenty of benches, ducks, a few bridges to stroll over to enjoy the scenery.

Lovely large park. Play park, amazing cafe and lots of ponds and water areas. Great for dog walking. There's also an Indian fusion restaurant. Lots of free car parking at different entrances. And is home to Carew Manor, a period building under king Henry the 8th. You can't visit as it's now a school. But its a beautiful building and there's a lot of interesting buildings and bridges around the park. A great green space in Sutton borough.

Wonderful local park with a great river and lots of space to walk and for kids to run around. Park is actually huge and connects to other parks in the area all the way through to waddon ponds. We love it and go regularly. In terms of parking, there is a good size car park which is free. It can get busy so you may not get a space. The Grange restaurant (which is also great) has a car park but you have to of course be dining in the restaurant. Please be careful as if you're not dining in the restaurant you WILL get a fine. There is a machine in the restaurant for you to enter your registration.

Fab for dog walks. If you're careful, you can keep on path all the way around and avoid the mud. Or, if your dog, like ours, prefers a splash around in the river...its there waiting for you. Great little cafe on site too.

Park ground is clean, accessible to near bins. So wide and has playground. Green everywhere you look! Just that toilet is messy at the cafe. But can't complain, the place is free. Just keep tidy after use especially the place where you sit down and place a picnic.

This is possibly the best park in Greater London - great for dogs and active kids. Lots of wide open green space, woodland copses, tree-lined avenues, a small formal garden, a lake with ducks and geese, and the River Wandle flowing through (shallow enough for even small children to have safe fun). There's also a children's playground and cafe. It's everything I want from a park.

  • 5/5 Marcus E. 1 year ago on Google
Really lovely park. I didn't realise how big the park is. The cafe is nice with outdoor seats next to the children play area. Parking is available, however, on a nice day, parking can be tricky to find. I would recommend arriving early if travelling by car to guarantee a space.

Really love going to this park. The walk is lovely around the park and a nice place to picnic with the family. Really big with lots of trees for shade too. There was a parking lot but it was very busy so we parked on a street and used a public bridle way to enter which was much easier. Stroller friendly paths inside the park!

Stunning large park with everything there. Great playground. Pavilion with tasty drinks and food. Sells nets in summer for kids exploring in the streams. Ducks to feed. Bird sanctuary to far side of park. To the other side a great pub and restaurant called The Grange. Also a great place for wedding and various celebrations. Opposite side also has a beautiful church dating back to Dooms day book.
