It’s a beautiful park with a manor house. It also has stretches of woods where you can take a stroll while admiring the beauty around. Lovely place to have a picnic with your family & friends.

One of my favourite parks near me is a nice coffee shop, that has good walks, and is dog friendly. Perfect day out Just the car park by the main road is in very bad condition. Super muddy and is difficult to walk around the paddles 😂

Very nice big open space to wander around in. Historic place dating back to King Henry Vlll 's Court. Behind the mansion is a very good cafe which offers up a good selection of coffees and treats. I have sampled a mocha and it was delicious. Went for a stroll there yesterday afternoon as its local to me and decided on an ice cream which unfortunately was a bit of a let down. I had a plant based salted caramel flavour, wasn't bothered about the plant based aspect but there was no other choice. I had to get it replaced because the ice cream fell off the cone shortly after purchase. This was done free of charge. For £3.50 for a fairly small average ice cream with not much flavour, thought was a bit steep. Will stick to coffee in the future. Otherwise all good and well worth a visit. Apologies for pics. These were taken on a winter stroll. Didn't take any yesterday.

Very nice park iNear Sutton, England. Lots of Parking spaces (currently Free). Good place for a walk in the grounds and garden, there is also a cafe which had nice cakes and drinks. There is history about the par, going back many years. If you like a nice big park to walk, exercise, take a dog. Highly recommend. Tip: if it a bit of a wet day take a spare of shoes to change in to after.

A beautiful and huge park close to the city. Perfect spot for a family outing, casual walk, cycling and pets. Lush green lawns and huge trees with plenty of birds and squirrels around.

There are many choices of walks around the grounds with some interesting history. I didn't get to see the mansion inside due to an event, but the grounds and gardens were a delight, especially during this time when all is in bloom. I specifically loved the assortment of trees bearing their nuts (pun intended). I was quite surprised on how tame the squirrels were, as well as seeing so many in one busy area of the gardens. I was also very surprised to find hops growing wild. Definitely worth a walk around.

Love this park. The garden is interesting with mature trees. The park is on a level ground most of the way so very suitable for less able visitors. Nice cafeteria. The mansion is interesting. We'll worth a visit.

Nonsuch park is a good place for everything! There are flat area for picnic on the grass, there are trails where you can walk with your stroller and dogs. There are so many squirrels that are not afraid of people! My daughter had a good watch of squirrels!

Beautiful grounds and scenery. If it's been raining bring your wellies! Advise kids to watch for pot holes when scooting as pathways haven't been looked after in years. The cafe at the mansion does nice food although stop hot paninis at 3:15, it's very very expensive and no staff except for a minority wear masks. Overall, bring your own hot drinks and enjoy the views

Love the serenity in this park. Just sit on a bench by the flower gardens and listen to the birds sing. The mansion has a coffee house but only serves drinks and cakes, plus ice cream. Still, the kids will love it too.

Clean and muddy and big and what not .. looks like no ducks ... beautiful overall Negatives - 1-limited number of entrances for such a big park. 2-there must be more roads(narrow) for walk and cycling 3-crossing the park from London Road to non-such school by cycle is not straight line, lots of hindrances in between.

Large park with lots of open spaces. It includes a café, woodland area and small formal gardens. The paths in some places can get very muddy at times.

It is great place for spending time family and friends. It's a pet friendly park. However, the Nonsuch mansion was closed, I guess because of COVID. The parkings are free. However, it can be muddy after rain so be aware tobring essential equipments.

A beautiful park with miles of open grassland, mature trees, surfaced paths & muddy meanders. Lovely for dog walkers. Pleasant cafe with a formal garden attached. Worth a visit.

  • 3/5 Mangusu 9 months ago on Google • 45 reviews
Not too interesting in my opinion. The mansion looks nice for weddings. Most of the grounds is tall grass meadow. The wooded area has a pond which is a major mosquito breeding ground. More of a running and dog walking park than a picnic and field games one.

Beautiful my favourite place in Sutton. Feels like you could be anywhere! Loads of dogs which can be annoying. Other than that it’s amazing!! Would recommend a visit.

  • 4/5 Graham H. 2 years ago on Google
As a first visit we thought it was a super park in semi-urban surroundings. For the most part very natural, but boots or wellies recommend as the paths are very muddy. Great coffee and pastries at the cafe.

  • 5/5 RiRi J. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful park. There's an outdoors gym, a playing area for children, and the majority of the park is woodsy perfect for bikers or people who love to explore. Everything is kept well. The toilets were reasonably clean which is a plus. This is a proper park something for everyone

As always absolutely beautiful. A peaceful restful wonderful place to walk with my grandson. He loves the wildlife squirrels & birds. Feel safe & happy to chat with other visitors & dog walkers. In my opinion Nonsuch is a magical place to visit. Autumn flowers & trees are gorgeous.

Had a hot chocolate & muffin here outside with a friend. A bit expensive but good quality. Perhaps a little risky to have unwrapped spoons in an open container. The garden pond was surrounded with white plant foliage & near the mansion itself was a huge bed of marigolds. Squirrels bounding around everywhere collecting winter storage.

Nice park for family and dogs 🐕 The dogs are free to go in almost all the areas! But there are areas where they are not allowed; and that’s ok, because people can do their picnic there too! There are a long walk you can do and also explore more with bikes in a very safe place! There is a nice cafe with refreshments!

Feel blessed to have this park so close to home. It really is enormous, you could walk round it every day for a year and not do the same route twice (not a verified fact but I'm confident you could!). The grounds are so well maintained, stunning plants all year round, and it's so spacious it never feels crowded. The coffee at the café isn't bad either. Go here for a workout, to walk your dog, catch up with friends, or a bit of peace by yourself.

Nonsuch Park is a fantastic place for a leisurely walk. The park offers stunning natural beauty, with well-maintained trails and scenic landscapes. Additionally, the Nonsuch Mansion within the park is a captivating sight, adding a touch of history and grandeur to the surroundings. Whether you're seeking a peaceful stroll or a glimpse into the past, Nonsuch Park is the perfect destination for both nature lovers and history enthusiasts.

A great park and woods for dog walking, picnics 🧺on the grass, cycling🚴‍♀️, running 🏃‍♂️ or just a nice meander. The cafe near the mansion also has great ice cream 🍦 tea and coffee ☕️ . We met lots of friendly walkers and dogs on our trip. I would recommend keeping dogs on the lead in the open spaces unless they have superb recall.

  • 5/5 Jessica F. 9 months ago on Google
Lovely park with plenty of free parking. Green open space, wooded shady areas, flat paths, and plenty of benches dotted around. Toilets and cafe near non such mansion. Very dog friendly.

  • 4/5 Dora M. 9 months ago on Google
Beautiful park, nice café, accessible toilets, good variety of grounds - the garden behind the mansion doesn't allow access for dogs, bikes, ball games, etc - so quiet and peaceful. Some nice shady forested areas, playground with sandpit, car parks. Can't give it 5 stars because it gets incredibly muddy after rain and the paved pathways are only a couple - so bring wellies along!

I decided to make this review as I had recently moved to Worcester Park near the end of 2018 and visited Nonsuch Park on New years day and have since frequented the park many times. Nonsuch Park is a quiet man made maintained grounds for a leisurely walk, run or bike ride situated by the well maintained Nonsuch Palace Gardens. I go on a lot of walks both leisurely and picnics and boarding dog walks as this is the closest park of it’s kind in my locale. There are a number of entrances to the park, Via the two main road entrances surrounding the park grounds which offer parking, or my choice of route to cut through Cheam Park along the pathway to the Mansion Ground car park near the Little Oak Preschool Nursery. By taking this route you get a little more greenery and small forestry before you approach the beautiful Nonsuch Palace and Gardens connected to the park. The park is rarely busy, But there’s always families and locals enjoying the gardens and greenery as well as the Cafe situated to the rear of the Palace gates, Not crowded but certainly lively. The gardens have lovely maintained Bushes, Flower displays, Flower archways, a small Pond near the path with Fish, lilly pads and some more Tudor details scattered around the paths before gating to the park grounds. The grounds itself has enough expanse that it never feels crowded. Cycle paths Marathon paths, Picnic spots, Historical plaques, Hills and Dog walks are scattered around. I’ve probably tallied dozens of hours here either on leisurely walks or a Pokemon Go round, If you’re interested in that the park has 2 Pokemon Gyms in the Nonsuch garden grounds and at least 8 Pokestops. The park is well maintained and doesn’t have much litter, It does seem like the litter that is there is scattered by Crows in the parking lot bins or blown in through the main road bins, Which is NOT the fault of the staff they do their best to maintain. I always try to pick up and bin stray litter as I found it disrespectful if it was left there intentionally. I would encourage others to do their bit and help in the park which benefits the area, conservation history, nature and yourselves as it’s your park too. The Mansion does rent the hall for Events such as Wedding too if you’re interested and the garden grounds area are usually cordoned off partially for said events. The wildlife in the park is small but noticeable on some days, Which the includes Carp in the pond, Butterflies, Dragonflies, Beetles, Bluetits, Robins, Owls, Sparrows, Bats, Foxes, Voles, Badgers and Squirrels and I’m sure there were a lot more in the dense underbrush and high trees. This place is a great historic feature to the area and I will definitely make it my park walk of choice in Spring, Autumn and Summers. If you so wish you can follow Ada’s and my exploring exploits on IG @ada_et_ross

Nice little park, can be difficult getting in and out the entrance by the school when it's busy but plenty of parking, lots of open field walking but the ground can be quite hard and the vet thinks our pup had an allergic reaction to something he stood on there but this has only happened once in maybe 10 times there, lots of other dog walkers and usually very little or no rubbish!

Nice park that offers quite a bit in terms of running, picnic or just a casual walk. Very busy though. Parking was ok but could become an issue. When its wet and muddy not very enjoyable. Take some spare packets with for shoes and an old towel. Should be lovely in summer. Lots of trees and off trails.

Great for kids and dog walking. Woody areas and wide open spaces. Very muddy car parks in winter. Best to get there early morning or after lunch to avoid mid morning rush.

  • 5/5 Darren B. 3 years ago on Google
My local park and great for long dog walks, jogging, cycling and even has hidden areas for picnics in the sun. The House is part of one of King Henry 8th palaces. I believe the house you see in the park was just the kitchen area for the King's palace. It has fantastic gardens to walk around too. Good ample parking with a Tea Shop and Toilets by the House. Come and enjoy the park like I always do.
