Visited Go Ape Chessington with 3 children aged (7,9,11) Booked Adventure course. £20 each. There is no discount for children or families. Good set up, instructions given via a recording. Had a practice run through and we were off. Told we had an hour to complete the course and the quicker you do it the more times you get to go around. There are 2 courses both end in the same zip wire. Course 2 is more challenging than course 1. If we didn't have 7 and 9 year old would have completed both courses in around 30 mins. Wouldn't reccomend for adults more suitable for children. If your just adults then choose the treetop challenge. My daughter completed both courses with 25 mins to spare but the instructors told her to take harness off her turn is over. She then had to wait for us to finish the course. Sat in the cold outside for half hour alone. I thought she could have at least done one of the courses again. The previous people on the course spent 1 hours 30 mins. I did shout down to say can't she do it again but they said no. (This has put me off visiting again) You don't get 1 hour. You have till you complete the course. Instructions are done via audio rec No discount for families or groups Our discount Chess21 didn't work Course isn't challenging and I wouldn't say it was worth the £20 each for 30 mins. I would say it would be worth £10 if you did get a whole hour. Disappointing for us the little one enjoyed.

Glad we decided to do this impromptu visit over the weekend. Helpful staff, clean toilets, hassle free car park, tea/coffee/ snacks for craving tummies and great courses for the adrenaline seekers. Though a bit nerve- wracking for me watching from below, one can easily spend a few hours amidst greenery, zipline zooms and bird calls. Well worth it!!!

Over the past couple of years, I've been going to some Go Ape venues as part of celebrating my birthday. I decided this year to do this one. But DON'T be fooled, because this one isn't the most easiest one to get to. Because you might think that it's pretty close to Chessington World of Adventures. You'd be wrong, it's a bit further away from that theme park. Believe me, I had a lot of fun trying to find it for the first time and got completely lost. That is the reason why I've given it 3 stars out of 5 But with that set aside, this one is like being in a forest and if you take a look at some of the photos and videos I've uploaded, you will feel like Tarzan. (and properly smell like him as well 😂)

Great outdoors gift experience! The tree top challenge has 5 separate trails that you can do, one of them has unlimited zip line. It was fun!

It was a Sunday and it was early-ish, so some pasties were not in stock or not ready. The staff are really helpful and go out of their way to help you. Clear instructions and safety measures means I was able to send the kids up without an adult (albeit they were 10) and not had a moment to worry. Seriously money well spent and kids have developed extra confidence to complete tough tasks independently..

A lovely addition to a day out with my eldest daughter during a trip (using our Merlin Annual passes) to Chessington World Of Adventures. A great way to spend an hour, climbing amongst the trees within a safe environment. Loving the zip wire at the end and love the climbing wall incorporated into the experience. Staff very friendly and even the snacks and drinks at the front are very reasonably priced as we learned when I bought a bottle of water for my daughter after our experience 👍👍👍

Very organised and staff were great. Could do with some more shaded areas to sit and wait. Other than a great experience to be had by all ages

Simply amazing. Incredible and knowledgeable staff who remained on hand to offer encouragement and make sure everyone was safe. The courses are challenging without being overly scary. A great balance. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a big shout out to Juliette who helped us all the way!

Friendly and safety conscious staff, good challenging courses and free parking. Exit route (for cars) could have been clearer - different route to how we arrived.

Had an absolute blast at Go Ape Chessington in January, thanks to a birthday party invite. This place is a hit with the kids - they couldn't get enough of it! The whole area is cradled by trees, which, although bare at the time, promise an even more immersive 'Go Ape' experience come spring and early summer when they're lush and green. Definitely worth a visit, especially when the scenery kicks in to full gear. A top-notch adventure for families looking for fun and a bit of adventure amidst nature's backdrop.

Recommended! we did the baby one as it’s our first time and it was wet but the staff are extremely friendly, it is well managed and safety is always at the forefront. There were plenty of staff around to help and ask questions Great fun for a family or birthday of all ages

Booked a party for 16 children. Yesterday we went along at the allotted time. No one greeted us, no one to show us around the party room, no squash or water until we asked for it after we insisted it was included. No manager around, the girls only did 2/3rds of the activity because of delays going out. It was very poorly organised and felt short staffed / under trained staff. We had to ask where do they go next, what’s the next climb. Etc etc. the girls did enjoy themselves, for what you pay it should have been better

There are two different levels of difficulty depending on age. My 14 year old boy and his friend did the harder Adventurer course and they loved it.

An excellent day out! I went for my birthday with a couple of friends and wasn’t disappointed. The instructors were professional and engaging. The course was excellent. It was substantial enough that it took over 2 hours to complete, even at a pace! Parts of the course were really challenging, but that made it even more enjoyable. Even on a fairly cool day, we were exhausted by the end! I would definitely return.

This is the best tree top experience ever! Beautiful location (easy to access from London), sparkling clean facilities, super funny activity to do with friends and family, well trained and welcoming staff! It's a five stars on all aspects, really. We can't wait to visit all the other GoApe locations across UK. Tip: by the gloves (they only cost £5) or bring your own as they help with the ropes, especially the extreme parts. Thank you Harry, Ben and H for being our instructors today (sorry if I have mentioned some names incorrectly) and the rest of the staff members, you are doing an amazing job!

Huge tree climbing park in the woods of Chessington. A must-visit for adrenaline lovers. There are multiple levels. Some of them are easy, made for kids and then others, the main track has 5 levels basically, and you can skip or choose if you find some too hard. Great long slides on the ends. Go there & go ape!

We only went because we couldn't get tickets for chessington or thorpe park. But, oh my god. I'm so glad we did. So much better than chessington. No queues! It's amazing. Taking you out of your comfort zone. My son was scared of heights before we went but he completed the challenge and was so pleased with himself. Zip wire completed 4 times with different poses! Thank you Go Ape. Will definitely be back for more.

What a fun place. Right from the beginning with the friendly attitude og the staff, it is a great family fun. There is a party pşace to hire if you wish right by the entrance for birthday etc. Otherwise you can also have picnic on the picnic area. There is water, ice cream and other snacks you can by as well as some souveniers but most importantly gloves. Most people go without them but they really help, with the grip. Plenty of parking space and parking is free if you do the activity, otherwise GBP 4.- . We have done the Adventure, which was already a great deal of fun. It was exactly for an hour. Before you srart you are briefed thoroughly by the friendly staff. Then you do a very short trial run during briefing. Then you start with the firat route which is shorter and easier but then you start with rhe second route, which is longer and a bit harder but great fun bıth for kids and adults. There are toilets by the entrance so you better visit before ypu start. Definetely a place to visit if you are looking for some quality family time.

We visited during the half term, it was a fantastic experience. We booked online four days in advance, only 4:30 pm time slot available. Strongly to suggest book online in advance.

Great couple of hours with my son and his friend on the high ropes. We took the Treetop Challenge that gave us access to Course 1 (the training course) then Courses 2, 3 and 4 which had varying difficulties and the choice at one point of "moderate" or "hard". We chose "moderate" as we were still adjusting to things so it would have been good to go back and try the "hard" later but you can only do courses 2, 3 and 4 once. Course 5 is linked to the big zip wire near the start and you can do this multiple times and / or just access the big zip wire. It is not cheap but was one of the best activities I have done for a while and is a great team builder.

Great outdoor adventure. I went there to celebrate a birthday and we all had a lot of fun, as someone who is reasonably fit I enjoyed the challenging extreme routes. Do keep in mind this is not a great place for anyone with limited mobility, one of our party was in his 60s with a knee injury in his past and he struggled with some routes... He still had fun and loved the zip line :)

Now,Go Ape's HQ could be mistaken for an abandoned shack in a car park although they have the basics in there like drinks etc,but if it's raining don't expect to wait in the dry, you'll be expected to get soaked as its too late, you'd have already paid. Also the climbing in the trees will still go ahead in whatever the weather as guess what, they already have your money so toughen up! The instructors are nice and able and its totally safe.Expect to wait for the zipwire , although a simple idea might be for them to install another as its the most popular thing to do.I doubt they will.3stars for now as HQ's looks and shelter for customers in bad weather is poor and also if there customers don't want to proceed in the pouring rain, then they should have the right to postpone or cancel without any charges.

👍 Nice place located on the a406. Plenty of parking. They are allowing people in via online bookings so make sure you book before you turn up. Slots get taken up quickly so there'll be little chance to book when you get there. 18 holes of mini golf is always a good way to spend 30-45mins with the kid...
