    I usually have quite a bad experience here as the staff at reception is generally unhelpful and it is impossible to get an appointment unless you have hours to spend on the phone and listen to music while you wait. Today they took it to another level, so I decided to write a review. I went in on 7 June 2018 at 9:45am to show a letter from a specialist and ask for a GP referral. The letter I showed them was on my phone and the receptionist was adamant she needed it in hard copy, so she could scan it an upload to the system. I offered to send it through in an email, so she didn't need to worry about scanning. The answer of the receptionist was that THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO RECEIVE EMAILS. In 2018!!!! It was so obvious that she just simply didn't care, that I turned around and went to the library around the corner and they were kind enough to help me to print it out. I returned with the letter and stood in a queue of 5 people. The receptionist asked loudly one after the other their date of birth, name, and the reason why they wanted an appointment. All highly sensitive information that shouldn't be shouted out in public! Well, I suppose they haven't heard of the new GDPR rules yet. It was probably sent to them via email, so, you know...

    What do you need to do to get an appointment? Contacted them numerous times regarding my son and even the hospital has wrote. I have no idea when or even if, I am going to receive a phone call. You hear on the news, them urging people to see their doctors if you need to, huh, good luck with that!

    I have just had my vaccination at Giggs Hill and can not praise the team there enough. In a matter of days from the surgery sadly having a fire, the doctors and team had relocated to the local community centre, and had the program back up to speed and running incredibly efficiently. Even finding time to check in on patients as they passed through to see how they were doing. Such a commitment to keeping the community safe during these times.

    All I want to do is make a routine appointment in a couple of weeks time. No chance. I am forced to ring at 8 or 1 along with the emergency appointment seekers. None of us get through in time. Sometimes the calls have lasted over 20 minutes in a queue WHICH I AM PAYING FOR. Really like the doctors, nurses and reception staff. But the management and their organizational ability to run a patient centric service is appalling. I could use stronger language but don't want this censored.

    It is impossible to get an appointment at this place. Nobody answers the phones. Have been to the surgery three times in the past week simply to try and register with the practise. They lost the completed registration forms and then denied it being their fault. Also didn’t add to the experience to hear them bad mouthing patients in their absence. Very very disappointing. The only alternative is the walk in clinic in Teddington.

    From having my covid jabs, having gallbladder removed and multiple appointments to diagnose and also getting routine appointments for my young daughter, the surgery have been really good and caring. Yes, you might have to wait a while on the phone for an appointment but the addition of the online enquiry form where you complete the form with your problem and the staff respond, has been a great improvement and a welcome addition. They have always come back to me really quickly.

    I had my jab on Saturday at the Thames Ditton vaccination centre. They are all doing an incredible job, from the volunteers who managed the large number of attendees that day, the nurse who went through the questionnaire with me in the queue, to the volunteering dentist who administered my jab. Can't thank them enough.

    I had my first Covid Vaccine on Saturday and the amount of people that had to be processed was huge. But the staff and volunteers were brilliant, from dealing with parking and what seemed like a never ending queue of people, they had it running like clockwork. It took a total of 15 minutes from start to finish for me. Fantastic Job by all those involved. Thanks

    When you get to see someone great. But unless you turn up physically at 8am a week in advance of when you want an appointment you have NO chance of an appointment. It is easier to get front row tickets for Wimbledon. The appointment booking system is an absolute joke and not fit for purpose. I have being trying to get an appointment for a week and phone 40 times each morning and can't get through. Time to find a new doctor. Beyond disappointing.

    Was told today that you cannot book an appoint for any other day other than the day you phone !! Was asked to make an appointment BY THE SURGERY but now have wait until the day Im available then call and wait in a que for an outside chance of actually being able to talk to a GP. Simply rubbish.

    I have found Giggs Hill and Glenlyn Surgeries to be very quick to contact me after submitting online forms requesting medical help and to arrange repeat prescriptions.

    . I was contacted 6 weeks ago by a doctor asking me to contact them for results of my blood test which has proved impossible either by phone or on the website FtDreadful!!

    The receptionist is slow and unhelpful. She told me to walk in the waiting room without taking any of my details which meant that I waited 40 minutes without the GP knowing that I had checked in for my appointment. I had to go and give her a nudge for her to actually take my details down and soon after I was seen by the GP.

😠 The reception staff are less than useless. The phone line is always busy however staff behind the counter are routinely standing around and not answering the phone. Infuriating to think these people are responsible for the wellbeing of others.
