Pituresque Epsom and Ashtead Common They are joined by large tracks There is parking in a few locations depending on your route. This is a wonderful place for many, dog walkers, walkers, cyclists, photographers etc. We always take some hot coffee, as there are no refreshments. A definite take wellies and a spare pair of warm socks in the winter. Catch the sun as it gets pretty cold when the sun is not out. Enjoy all seasons as the tranquility when in the quieter areas is divine, just the sound of the birds dancing in your head. There are literally miles of walks again depending on your fitness, kids will love it too.

We wandered through the eastern half, taking about a 1.25 hour walk from Epsom town centre in then looping back around. The paths were decently wide, and though muddy in a few spots a few days after rain, the main paths were mostly fine. We especially loved the peaceful wooded walk. It seemed dog and bike-friendly too based on others.

Great place for walking, plenty of non-muddy routes which is a bonus! The ponds are pretty, we like to include these in our route.

Runners paradise ! If you are looking for you weekly long run this is the place. Plenty of off road tracks where to train, muddy at time but perfect for trail running. The small hills are not so bad, good if you want to increase your hearth race. Enjoy !

Nice open area with lots of pathways for walking. It is joined onto Ashstead Common making it easy to explore both areas at the same time. There are lots of wooden signs helping to navigate your way around.

Huge area from open fields to forests between Epsom Common and Ashtead. Plenty of interesting walking routes for adventures.

It was a pleasant walk in well-maintained grounds, with the paths distinctly marked. We also went to The Barn coffee stall, where the drinks are of excellent quality.

Some lovely quiet walks around the common. Paths can get very muddy when rain hits, so wellies are a must! Wildlife around,if you look hard. Take some seeds for the different water birds.

Epsom Common is the perfect walk for families and dog walkers. Paths are clear routes that are marked and are easy to follow. There are plenty of benches along the paths if you need to sit. Wildlife is wonderful.

Absolutely stunning, picturesque place. Great place for walking, running, jogging, cycling, etc. Goes for miles. Also attached to it is Ashtead Common, a place equally as beautiful. One of the most beautiful commons in Surrey and a must visit - and definitely worth visiting again.

It's quiet and beautiful. There are a lot of trails for cycling, running, walking and jogging. Pets are welcome. There are a few lakes inside. Some areas have electric fencing so be cautious. Epsom well is a wishing well outside the park which has historical significance. This area is mainly significant for its habitat of birds. In summers, you may look out for long walks along with experts at specified times to know more about the park.

Big park with lots to explore. Bring your boots as it can get waterlogged and muddy after raining.

Plenty of space to explore on the Common. It's being well managed with the introduction of cows and a decent amount of felling. I'd recommend to get off the wider paths and explore the many off shoot smaller paths.

Large untamed woodland with clear patches throughout. Perfect place for dog walking but be mindful of the areas where could be cattle grazing. The car park is reasonably small so be prepared to park somewhere else at busy times.

Great place for flying drones if you can get down when its quiet. I find Sunday is the best day. Recently I bought the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and have had great fun flying it around the common with my 2 sons.

Epsom/Ashtead common is my favourite thing about living in Epsom. Loads of accessible paths and criss crossing trails that can keep you going for miles. It's well looked after. It's peaceful and green and there's loads of wildlife. Love it.

Wow what a lovely area to walk! Went on a very hot day - we have a 15 month old baby and was well shaded from the sun with dappled glades and meadows here and there to relax in - perfect place go. Lots of wildlife and trees and various paths to follow.
