Just had our wedding reception at Kingswood Golf & Country Club. The venue itself is suburb, the changing rooms, hotel rooms and function rooms all look very modern. Liza and her team were fantastic throughout the whole process and couldn’t have done enough for us to make the weekend so special. I was even able to play golf during the afternoon before the evening reception and the golf course was in great condition. The hotel rooms were amazing, large rooms with comfy beds and great showers. The breakfast the following morning was great too and was available all morning so didn’t need to get up early and rush down! All the guests enjoyed their weekend and were impressed with the set up. Can’t rate this place highly enough if you’re looking for a weekend away, golf society or for a big event.

A very attractive course with some challanging holes. The practice facilities are excellent with putting green, chipping green, bunker & covered & open range. There is a bar serving very good food. The pro shop offers a good range of gear. A huge car park & on site hotel make this a complete package. Societies are welcome

After a frustrating spell of searching for a potential venue for our wedding we stumbled across Kingswood Golf & Country Club - I made contact and Liza managed our enquiry. Liza was incredibly easy to talk with, at the outset she wanted to take the stress out of the wedding planning for us and that is precisely what she did! Nothing was too much trouble and she bent over backwards to give us the wedding that we both wanted to the point where it the stress stopped and the fun began, which is the opposite to what you'd expect as you get closer to the big day! The venue and its facilities are second to none and offers exceptional value for money, in fact we can't recommend the venue highly enough - it's in such a beautiful setting and the finish in all of the rooms (including bedrooms in the Lodge) are immaculate! Liza had a comprehensive supplier list, so if you are struggling with flowers/cakes/DJ/photographer etc you will not go without and all at competitive prices. A massive 'THANK YOU' to Liza and all at Kingswood Golf & Country Club for making our special day as amazing as it was and the planning so pleasurable. You pulled out all of the stops for us - you are amazing in all that you do!

We got married here in September this year and we couldn't recommend it highly enough! Fantastic staff who were always there to help. The rooms were stunning and the food was amazing, all our guests loved it. The decor and settings were beautiful.

Had a great weekend. Lovely rooms and a challenging golf course. My only gripe was the lack of organisational when ordering food, staff were walking round and round trying to find who had ordered what. Maybe table numbers would be a good idea?

Stayed here for a week. Most of the staff are great and were helpful, even when I asked for some admin assistance. Room was amazing and the little touches were great. Little coffee machine in the room etc. The man from the golf shop was rude one morning ( when I made an enquiry ) because I was in my work attire and he assumed I wasnt his type of client but I won't let that sway my review. This establishment is excellent and i would fully recommend.

Beautiful course and greens are perfect even with all the hot weather we've had lately. The staff are friendly and it has a really nice atmosphere all round.... Will definitely be back soon!

Went to a friend’s wedding here. It has beautiful scenery and very fine dining options. The bride and groom were happy too so all in all I would say a wonderful experience.

An absolutely fantastic spread for lunch when hiring the dining room. I must play a round of golf there one of these days.

Great location and nice modern interiors. Food is average however and chicken was dry. They also need a much better menu as it’s very limited.

Utterly terrible experience. Arrived after an 18 hour day, on the road since 4am and told despite my booking confirmation that they didn't have my reservation. This resulted in a 20min hold with my travel management company who discovered that I was booked they had made an error. Eventually was given a room after a good 30 minutes of messing around. Asked for a table for dinner, no problem I am told. Turns out it's bar food only in the week as the restaurant is only open Friday and Saturday night. Bar food is 15 quid for a burger 5 for chips and desperately poor form for a venue that charge what they do. Made do with a takeaway from a local pub on deliveroo. Wouldn't stay again, very very disappointing for the promise from the website.

Lunch with a few friends. We had a table for 15 and there were many other tables of about 10 people. I'd guess about 160 people were there all for the excellent buffet lunch. Huge choice of starters and desserts, including a cheese board. The mains were from the carvery and that was the only time we really queued and only for 5 - 10 minutes! All went very well and a good time was had by all. One minor issue from one person; that the beef joint was over done (she wanted it rarer!). The waiters delivered drinks and collected all plates and glasses and we hardly noticed them. Tea/coffee served at the table to finish. Will certainly go back. ££ value.

First time at Kingswood ,Played today in the frozen weather and was still the best course I’ve played in a very long time, friendliest people working there, nothing was to much trouble and the lady at the half way but was superb as well as the gentleman and lady at the pro shop , can’t wait to come back and play when the weathers better , Thankyou very much

The photos are of the hotel on the grounds. I only went there for a wedding venue and was extremely impressed. Beautiful scenery, very welcoming. Beauty salon on site. The venue is huge, and well laid out. The staff are helpful and lovely. Plenty of parking.

Played two rounds of golf and stayed overnight in the lodge rooms as a group of 8 sharing 4 twin rooms. The golf course is really excellent and in superb condition even after a lot of rain. The clubhouse bar is not huge but perfectly adequate and not too expensive. The menu for dinner isn't massive but for just a one night stay there was something for everyone and the quality was good. Clubhouse staff were very friendly as were the reception staff at the lodge and the golf pro shop. Breakfast is very nice and included in an overnight stay. This venue was perfect for what we did.

Had a really enjoyable time here (probably helped by having a good round!) Nice course but not spectacular, some fairly standard fare holes most of the way around with some nice views in the background. Not too challenging and rough pretty forgiving although lots of craftily placed bunkers. Food we had (bacon sandwich and sausage bap) were ok and not a bad price and the staff were very friendly which was nice.

We had our wedding here a few weeks ago, everything was great from start to finish! The hotel is lovely and the staff very attentive. Liza was great at organising our day. We will be back to try the Sunday carvery!

My partner and I had our engagment party in the Warren room we had the best time, our guests were also impressed, the buffet was amazing, the bar guys were fab, Liza was also great cannot fault this place one bit! Highly recommend will defo be back one day! We also stayed over at the lodge Hotel absolutely amazing rooms!!!

Great place to enjoy the quiet of a golf course. The rooms are amazingly clean. The dinner menu could be a bit better if there were more options to choose from.

Very nice family meal in a beautiful setting. Buffet lunch with 5 courses. Excellent food and looked after very well. However I disagree with being charged a gratuity therefore 1 star removed.

Just played a round at Kingswood today and must say, the condition of the course is amazing at the moment. The greens are playing really nicely and are running true and the breaks are subtle. The bunkers were a little hard in so me places but other than that a really good day out! Well done to the green staff and all. Cheers and hopefully play again soon.

A large group of us met up at this venue for our Annual Dinner Dance and Awards party, where the ambience, food and service was exemplary. Our meal was delicious, and afterwards the awards and other functions preceded the rest of the evening dancing or chatting with our friends. Brilliant evening.

Absolutely lovely Sunday carvery plenty of choice as always stayed in the lodge overnight beautiful room overlooking the golf course massive balcony only downside was think the rooms should either have blinds or net curtains as the other two rooms share the balcony and can see in will definitely go again

A well managed club. I enjoyed playing here. It's not that difficult but every shot needs to be carefully managed though.

My Husband & I held our wedding here.... we could not have asked for a better experience!! From booking the venue right through to the finishing touches our wedding coordinator Lauren was always contactable every step of the way. We thank you all for the smoothness of the day, the exceptional food and the over all amazing atmosphere!!! Karen the General Manager is always a pleasure to deal with and we thank you for everything. The Lodge is an exceptional experience, we will be back for future anniversaries! Thank you all!!!!!

Attended Kingswood as it was the venue of a dear colleagues wake, following his cremation. Food, drink and tales of a generous funny man who'll be greatly missed were all good.

Today we visited the Sunday carvery. A family member is vegan. When we booked the table there was no info on food choices for her. So we were a little worried there would be just salad. We didn’t need to be. The soup was vegan + delicious, the roast potatoes + veg were not covered in anything she couldn’t have. The chefs had taken the trouble to make a chickpea roulade. Which she loved. When it was desert time she helped herself to fruit salad but one of the chefs came looking for her + presented her with vegan chocolate torte with cucumber sorbet. She was thrilled. Thankyou chefs + staff for making our visit a good one.

Still a great course but the fairways are a problem for what used to be a premium place to play golf. They've allowed large tracts of grass to die and now it's preferred lies because they're so patchy. The greens are still good and the layout and planting around the course constantly keeps you on your toes, pull the driver out your bag at your peril. If the fairways and approaches were up to standard this would still be one of the best courses in the area, at the moment it's average particularly for the price. Not the most friendly club either, could do with a decent manager to start putting a smiles on a few of the staffs faces, start at the pro shop too.

Have played this course a few times this year and fell in love with the place - both times the tee times were booked online so very easy. As a result I have enquired about joining as a member for the last 10 days and have called, spoken to various members of staff, left phone number for people to call me back but am still awaiting a call... I even made an arranged visit and completed an application form requesting membership and have also chased this up but, still awaiting a call back. As a summary, the course is fantastic, really nice atmosphere in and around the clubhouse but it appears that the staff in the pro shop/membership team aren't very proactive and it isn't the kind of service that should come with a golf club that want the best part of £2k a year. Left me feeling slightly underwhelmed and a bit miffed. Course/Golf - 5 stars Customer Service - 1 star

Course is in good condition, unfortunately the clubhouse had been flooded due to heavy rain the previous day, so kitchen facilities were unavailable. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and they looked after us very well!

We attended a wedding reception here and it’s a very nice venue that’s not big or small so creates a good atmosphere. Good parking outside and security on hand to guide you in and take care of you. Bar prices are high but no more than similar venues of this type.

No beer on tap for retirement party.... gah

Having entertained as a Professional Wedding DJ many times at Kingswood, I can highly recommend this beautiful club for any couple looking for the perfect venue.
