Legit Italian vibes with amazing pizza. And seriously, their pistachiomissu - life-changing good!!! The team was super friendly, and the place is cozy and atmospheric! The pizza was so good and big for me, I had to take leftovers home—proper size for a proper meal. If you're into awesome Italian eats, hit up Masaniello Café Pizzeria for sure!

Loved our first visit to Masaniello. Can't belive we have never been before in the last 5 years. We had the calamari for a starter which was delicious, followed by a pizza and a pasta dish. Again, both were excellent. We finished the meal with the pistachi tiramisu which was fabulous. The service was also great. We'll be going back regularly!

Update for April '23 - still excellent, a lovely alternative Sunday lunch, perfect pizzas, a treaty fried burrata and even kids portions of everything available. Really really good Neapolitan pizza. Tried two over trips 6months apart - the Vesuvio semi calzone (one end is folded, best of both worlds) with nduja is really spicy but the generous blistered crust gives you some respite from the heat, overall excellent. The second was sausage and friarelli (a spinach/broccoli like vegetable) which was also delicious. There are starters, pasta (the vongole with pistachio was brilliant and generous with the clams) and there are seconds for non pizza/pasta fans. Highly recommend this and the Twickenham other branch, support the little guy over the bigger chains when you can!

Nice and easy, quality authentic Italian. Lovely fresh pasta and pizza. We went for early evening meal and thoroughly enjoyed it, will be going back or even ordering for delivery. Near Surbiton station.

Hands down the best pizza I've ever had, traditional neapolitan style and very reasonably priced. Also wonderfully friendly inside, and a great atmosphere. If you're after real pizza, this is the place to go.

Tasty homemade Italian food. Staff attentative and was pleasantly surprised by the Pistacio Tiramisu. My aunt and I was a massive fan of the Tiramisu albeit not big enough to share, we will still be back for more!

My favourite local restaurant and the best authentic pizza I’ve had in London. Their Irish coffee is also amazing. The staff are very attentive and always do their best to accommodate us. The owner Gianni is down to earth and truly cares about the customers. Definitely will be back!

Excellent pizzas and very friendly service. Although not the cheapest for pizzas, they are well worth the money. Overall a nice café pizzeria, which I would recommend if you are in the area. Coffee and desserts are excellent too. Small but clean toilet is available. We will definitely return!

Having visited many Italian restaurants in both UK and Italy, I found the food offered at this restaurant to be one of most authentic in comparison to the offerings in Italy. Ordered the Masaniello pizza which was cooked to perfection. The ingredients are fresh and of a high quality. The cherry tomatoes smelt of the vine with the right crunch, rocket was fragrant and the parmesan shavings were more matured and powerful than the typical parmesan from the shops. Overall, satisfied with the food. My only gripe is that I attended for the first time with my wife and when I received the bill there was a service charge automatically added. The menu states that a optional service charge is only added on parties of more than 5. So why the charge? The service was average at best and waiter lacked any enthusiasm or passion. I was not given a choice with the service charge and am not a fan of this restaurant's sense on entitlement. Nonetheless, 5 stars based solely on the food but 4 stars due to the cheeky charge.

Great pizza and service..Would recommend booking as busy when we went and were lucky to get a table as before we had left all the tables were full in the early evening. Started with an Aperol spritz and then tucked into my Calzone pizza…..Versuvio or similar…it was delicious…Ricotta, pepperoni and Nduja.

Small restaurant serving quality Neapolitan dishes. It get can really busy Friday, Saturday during dinner service so booking is highly recommended. The wait for food was a bit long but it didn't really bother us as we were enjoying good wine. Waiting lady still offered us some olives with bread and explained that there was an issue with our order. We didn't even notice. I Would definitely come back.

A great little homely restaurant with a good menu. Took ten out for lunch here. Everyone enjoyed their pizzas. Their pizzas were good. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. Thoroughly recommend Masaniello!

Absolutely awful pizza. We ordered two pizzas for delivery and neither were edible. It almost feels like the pizzas were made by someone who had "heard" of pizza before, and maybe seen a photograph, but had never tasted one before to know what the flavor and texture should be like. We threw them away and had a fry up.

Our favorite local Italian. Gianni is a great gentleman - he always greet locals/regulars with a big smile and nice gestures. We’ve loved this place from our fist visit in 2018 and continue to do so. Needless to say their Neapolitan pizzas and pastas are exquisite! It’s casual and family friendly too. Go, relax and enjoy company with beautifully cooked dishes by skilled Italian chefs.

Lovely. They have a pizza oven, so get a pizza. Nothing else is bad, but the pizzas are the best. Even the plain dough is good.

Excellent pizza never be disappointed. Its a bit expensive but bug potion and kind of worth it.

This pizzeria has an authentic Italian feel to it and we highly recommend it as the opposite to the mass production pizza restaurants that are to be found everywhere. Our server was Italian, the surroundings felt Italian and the pizzas tasted deliciously Italian. We had a family meal for a birthday and the wide selection of pizzas catered for our differing tastes. You obviously need to reckon on spending a little more than you might at a chain pizza restaurant but the difference is merited and that is not really a fair comparison in terms of quality of food and ambience anyway. We ate early in the evening early in the week when there weren't a lot of fellow diners, but I suspect that it gets much busier at other times, so booking is likely to be recommended.

Little gem of a restaurant in Surbiton! Catered for a big number of us all at once, and a table of kids as well!! Really smart inside and the food was amazing! Definately worth a trip midweek if you fancy something tasty, weekends a definate must! Staff also extremely attentive and polite. Also wines were completely on point.

My family’s current favourite pizza place in south west London and Surrey. Lovely, friendly staff. Limited menu but done extremely well. I’d recommend booking ahead as it’s not a huge restaurant though have not had an issue so far. In addition to the pizzas there are a few pasta and other mains plus lovely looking starters (not tried yet but like the sound of the seafood options. Offer takeaway and delivery options too. Well worth a visit. Free parking nearby after 6.30 min-sat and all day Sundays

This Italian owned restaurant served us the best pizza we've ever had! Their freshly made dough was delicious. Moreover, the service was both friendly and professional. There were quite a few Italian speaking tables when we were there. I wasn't surprised, as this was/is flavoursome authentic Italian food. I highly recommend this place.

Marvellous Italian restaurant in Surbiton. The owner is super nice as well as the remaining staff. The quality of the food is fantastic and it really feels like Italian food cooked at home. The starters were to die for. I fully recommend it and I have to be careful not to get fat in this place!

Very good pizza and pasta. The dessert was incredible, pistachio tiramisu blew me away. The owner is friendly and made us feel very welcome. Not that many veggie options is something to consider.

One of the best Pizzeria I've been to in South London. Team dinner for 6, ordered various Starters that everyone shared and really enjoyed. The stone baked pizzas cooked to perfection. I didn't need to add any extra seasonings or chilli oils etc. And lovely reds to compliment the delicious meal. Highly recommended!
