This was a great hotel. The beds were comfy and had a great night sleep. The room of the racecourse was nice. The rooms were clean. staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was not the best. There are nice restaurants nearby where you can get some really nice food. Plenty of parking on site. Would recommend as really nice hotel.

I stayed here for the half term weekend with the kids. The room was very spacious and larger than expected. It was clean and had your usual coffee and tea but no biscuits lol. The breakfast the next morning was also good and plenty to pick for fussy kids. Only two bugbears really. It is not as close to Chessington world as expected. I think it reads on the site its 10 minutes when it's more like 20. This makes a big difference when you have kids you need to get to bed. The shower was also not as powerful or in line with the facilities. This lets the otherwise well presented Bath room down a bit. Staff were fabulous and very friendly to me and my little ones. I would stay again.

Ultimately disappointed to arrive tonight and be told there are no Double Rooms left. I have not slept in a single bed since being a child. I don’t know how a company can book a double room and one not be available when you arrive. Do they sell more rooms than they have hoping for cancellations? Horrendous experience after being away from home for 10 nights in a row, for wok not pleasure may I add! I’m very disappointed holiday inn! Shame as the location is wonderful. Sadly my experience has been ruined. If i fall out of bed I will be updating my review. Hopefully with no injuries!!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient for rail travel into London. The breakfast is amazing. Would recommend, especially for a disabled customer. One of our party was a wheelchair user and they were very well accommodated.

Great holiday inn ,as most of them are. Definitely exceeded expectations for an express one too ! We had a family room which was nice a spacious , lots of nice big fields to walk around although can't really walk to anywhere else or any shops. I didn't rate breakfast but considering it's included in the price can't really complain All the staff were really nice , maids were lovely and did a great job too , bare in mind in the Premier inns the maids don't even go in your room due to covid..this was total luxury in every way compared!

I arrived a little late in the day, 22:00, still found ample car parking available. Exactly what you expect from a hotel. Clean, tidy, functional, my room was immaculate. I would have no issues staying here again.

Very nice hotel. Lovely modern reception/bar area. Rooms have a modern contemporary style. USB plug sockets (take note other hotel chains). Great nights sleep, great breakfast just a slight disappointment there were no mushrooms 🍄 but I'm not one of those people who'll take a star off for that. Great hotel, quiet and a great location

I love the holiday inn always great service everywhere around the world. However this one is better for customers who are interesting in the races due to it being close to the race track. However you have to take a lot of different transport to get to central London but worth it. 👍

Attended two days training here, didn't stay the night unfortunately, employer too tight. Lovely hotel and buffet breakfast is free for guests or £7.95 Which was lovely and very good value. Strangely, they don't serve Lunch or Dinner but plenty of local places to go

Rooms small, service poor. My booking was lost (twice) due to an error on the part of the company who books my business travel. Not the fault of the hotel, but made to feel it was my fault where a bit of friendly support and assistance would've been more appreciated. Could do better here for sure! In addition, hairs and some sort of filth on the shower curtain (hoping shower gel). Breakfast largely unattended by staff so a bit of a wild West- one chap took every croissant and pastry and poured them into a bag two mornings in a row. Overall this was a poor experience.

Always have a great stay here. Breakfast included is great!!! To get to the town centre, easier to drive or take a taxi, I'm sure there is public transport but best to enquire first. Ideal if your going to the races as just across the road and views of the race course around most of the hotel. The recommended Rubbing House restaurant is definitely recommended, it has great food, great prices and great service. The only downside is walking across is a bit odd, as you need to walk along the race course and around the restaurant to get into it. Its too close for a drive but if you are less able or struggle walking might be best to take the car.

Very clean and comfortable stay. Arrived later in the day, had a few drinks in modern bar/lounge area. Hot and cold drinks available. Room was spacious and lovely view of the race course. Enjoyed a fantastic breakfast full of everything you could think of,continental and cooked. There was even a near by pub.

Good location, pleasant staff , clean room but with a funny smell.however cooked breakfast was abysmal! Poor quality and seemed to be reheated several times. You either do it well or don't bother. Hotel served a purpose for a night. Great 2 pubs on your doorstep and of course a stroll away from the grand stand .

Lovely hotel and perfectly placed for the horsey racing. We used it as a base to go to other places which was great for us. Just be aware that some of the roads leading to it are a bit back roady so be careful in your pride and joy. The breakfast was very good with a help yourself buffet so you could get as much full English as you can manage. There's also enough of an option for people with food intolerances and special dietary concerns. Overall a very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff and a good food option in the morning before you go gallivanting around the local area or if you're just off to lose all your money at the gee gees

Room was good. Hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast area was tidy clean and fresh food. Staff were smiley and helpful. View from the hotel and room was excellent. Only thing I don’t like room service which is shower gel and hand wash been never top up until we stayed. Otherwise everything was good.

First time in a holiday inn express. Good clean well appointed room. Poor drinks tray but reception very happy to supply extras at no charge. Disappointed that no biscuits which at the price point there should have been, cheaper budget brands supply! Heating not working in the room. Staff efficiently transferred us to another room. Breakfast was high quality with good variety and constantly being topped up. Free parking plus friendly staff. Definitely would use again.

Great hotel with very attentive staff. Was lucky enough to stay over with a number of ‘friends’. We made great use of the facilities and had a lovely evening. The next morning was eventful as we all piled into one room and had a great time. One thing to note, if you put your key card next to your phone it’ll wipe the info. This resulted in a ‘walk of shame’ for one of my ‘friends’ back to reception in the morning. Overall I had fun.

The staff were really friendly and extraordinary. Modern and very clean interior, as well as the rooms. Beautiful location as the hotel is situated right in the middle of the racecourse and you get spectacular views. Not to mention it’s a 2 minute walk away from the racecourse itself so it’s nice and convenient. Nice, hot breakfast that’s all included with our stay and i look forward to coming back!

I recently stayed at the hotel on Downs which is a great location and the views were amazing. The staff were friendly and efficient and explained everything I needed to known including information about the free breakfast. The breakfast it self was great, I really enjoyed the croissants. The service of the breakfast staff was great. I will definitely stay again.

Always a welcome atmosphere here. Perfectly located for the Epsom racecourse but also easy access to Epsom town and the M25. Parking and breakfast included makes for a pleasant and easy stay. Clean and cozy atmosphere with fab views across the countryside. The bar is well stocked and kept, the bar manager Mark is friendly and approachable but also highly knowledgeable and helpful a real credit to the hotel. Would certainly stay here again.

A lovely hotel in a stunning location. Staff were all professional, warm and friendly, and made me feel very welcome and at home! Complimentary breakfast was delicious with a wide selection to choose from, breakfast staff were all very attentive and friendly. The room was lovely with amazing views over the racecourse, very clean and comfortable, and the free wifi included was fast and east to connect to. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again! ☺️
