I have been going to.thos practice for 35 years. It used to be fantastic. It has deteriorated to the point you can barely get an appointment. If you manage to to get through you are then put on hold for ages. I was recently on hold for over 15 minutes. Its also very hard to get a face to face appointment. Since covid it's all phone appt. It's a joke.

One star is too much. These receptionists are the most ignorant, dumb, useless, incompetent and rude people I’ve ever had to engage with. The mistakes and sheer magnitude of incompetent behaviour from these cretins is bad enough but to top it off with hostile, aggressive and rude behaviour when you have to explain how they’ve done their jobs wrong is just too much. A truly disgusting experience interacting with this surgery. Note, this review is based on when I can actually spare 1-2 hours to get through to someone. 90% of the time you are never able to get through - they know that people cannot get through, to be honest, and it’s exactly how they want it!

I've been a patient at this surgery for 40 years and the standard of service is now so bad that I'm looking to register elsewhere. The main issue is with the booking system and the attitude from some of the receptionists. Often they're rude and abrupt on the phone, make mistakes with protocol and sometimes just hang up deliberately. The surgery is still closed to patients and when you visit to collect blood test forms or prescriptions they often don't answer the door. My GP is good when I get to see him but more often than not it's a locum. The last time I spoke with the locum he gave very bad guidance and didn't seem to care about my ailment.

every single time i have come here bar once, i have waited over an hour for my appointment.sometimes an hours and 30 minutes… with a newborn and in agony or with a sick child. there is no excuse for being this late without letting the patient know! allocate time slots for patients and stick to it! if you need longer appointment times then make them longer! as a single working mum i do not want to be cancelling clients and losing out on work because of sitting in a doctors reception due to lack of communication and lack of professionalism. this practise hasn’t changed since i’ve been here from 2016! DO NOT recommend anyone to join this doctors.

Staff appear to be overworked, abrupt and prone to making repeated mistakes. Communication and internet access facilities are shockingly poor, and evidently designed to deter patients and enquirers. Very disappointing, sadly.

I wish there was an option for zero rating as the service doesn't deserve even 1 star. You have to dedicate several hours in a day and lucky enough if someone attends the call after keeping you on hold for an hour before your call drops and you have to redial and go back in the queue. Both staff and GP's have an attitude which encourage you to stay away from surgery and use other options.

Don’t have any appointments and very hard to get appointments with a doctors. Temp doctors are coming and going. The doctors on the phone do not have time to listen to our symptoms but are very happy to ask for a good feedback. Really, they just need to close down this GP centre so other better GP centre can use the money

Absolutely ridiculous. Dr knows I’m prone to ear infections cos I swim I was promised a phone call app today as they didn’t have a morning appointment and cannot afford to take a day off work but the dr really wants to see me so I now have to drag in two children with special needs just to get some ear drops.

Dr scott is amazing staff are very busy. But are always helpful. Ringing the doctors is a nightmare. But using online doctors link is fast. Dr always rings back in 24hrs.

Forced to spend over 2 hundred pounds to see a private doctor, because one couldn't get through to make an appointment. The doctors at this surgery are being let down by their front line staff and the telephone system. Was cut off after being putting hold on the phone for one hour. GP practices are paid on the basis of the number of patients on their list, but NOT being seen, if that was the case, then most would be out of a job.

I’m coming to the end of my tether with this surgery. You have to wait on the phone for a ridiculous amount of time to get an appointment, only to be told there are non and to phone back the next day (unless it is urgent and surely if this is the case you should really be be seen by urgent care in a walk in centre or be dialling 111). Even when you get an appointment you rarely get to see the GP in person these days as it’s a telephone appointment. If you are looking to register with a GP, I would do not recommend this practice.

The Doctors are very good but it's extremely difficult to get timely appointments. They may be a victim of their own success because they used to give a fantastic service, so are probably oversubscribed now.

My doctor Alsanjari deserves 5 stars. She's always on top of everything and follows my test results as soon as it's done. However , I can never get through the phone and wait on the line for an hour. I can't afford wasting that time as I'm at work during the day. We can't blame Covid all the time!

I have no recent experience, not for the want of trying though. The lack of help is appalling and quite scary for those in need of a face to face consultation with a real doctor. It is fair to say, though, that the last 18 .months have been an ordeal for everyone. But the lack of understanding the need for advice in a compassio way has be lacking. The poor person left in the centre to help run it is definitely on a sticky wicket. I an shocked.

Dr Scott is one of the worse GPs I have ever come across! If you are new to this area and looking for a GP, use the centre but DO NOT use her.

Been trying to book an appointment for over 2 weeks with a permanent ring tone..any ideas how to get to see a doctor? So I get a call from a staff member who I can only suggest contacted me after receiving a negative review, she informed me that I will be contacted by a doctor between 3-6 pm that day.. I had my phone at the ready to then receive at text message at 16.12 saying, I am sorry I could not get through, thanks Roshni Scott Cheam GP Centre.. trying ringing phone would have helped.. if this was a normal business and we had a choice to pay for this level of service, then this business surly would be boarded up and closed down.. disgusting..

I have waited 4 working days to get Occupational Heath Questionnaire (for MET Police post) signed by my doctor, which I requested to be returned to me via email. Fair enough that it can’t be returned to my email but why wasn’t I informed that I must collect it? It’s a simple phone call/email to keep me posted! I now have to postpone my Assessment day! This is unacceptable!!

Been ringing for a week for a appointment never any I needed one for a day I'm off. got to ring back on Friday 8am. First come first served. Receptionist needs a course in Customer Service, nasty, abrupt.

I had two phone appointments and they rang two hours late. I know they are busy but not great. Very hard to get through on the phone. Receptionist staff not very friendly. Hence I’ve changed doctors and they seem better.

If I could give it 0 I would. Avoid at all costs. My father has a horrible time with them and refused to go. He has now passed away and even to get the medical certificate I had to come back twice in two hours both times being turned away. This was over 48 hours after my father had been seen by the GP and they had concluded cause of death. Bad in service life and death.

Have been with this GP practice for 40 years and it is at its absolute low . Cannot get through to even get a nurse appointment. Can’t believe the appalling service . Can’t book online unless you want to wait 2 months. After going to A&E wghich had a 9half hour wait overnight decided to go gp first thing. Told can’t have face to face meet with GP. Ended up being admitted to hospital 2 days later. Complete shambles. Please please do something to address this. 😭

You can book appointments on the doctor link app or call the new phone number which calls you back once you reach the front of the queue. Really pleased with this upgrade, it’s made things 100% better

The doctors here are brilliant. Demand is high so it can be hard to get through by phone and hard to get an appointment, but the doctors here work so hard. So grateful for them.

Its a shame that I cannot post a lower Star. This has got to be the worst GP Practice i have ever encountered. The receptionists think they are qualified Doctors and the Doctors are uncaring. I have tried to speak with Dr Scott who is prescribing medicines from my 9 year old son that is harming him. This practice needs to stop - why are so many, many people complaining about this center?

Can never get an appointment. Usually can't get through. If you do, no appointments are available. Used the Doctorlink site to request an appointment. Got an sms refusing this and told to make a telephone booking. No point.

Called Monday morning expecting a long queue after the weekend. Spoke to the receptionist who was very helpful. The doctor rang me the same day and referred me to a specialist and prescribed antibiotics. Saw the specialist three days later at Epsom Hospital who said I needed a CT scan which I had at St Heliers the following day. Perfect service all sorted in less that a week.

I have been with this surgery for 22 years and over the last 3 years they have continually gone downhill, I am now looking to find another GP practice. The staff seem unprepared and i'm not convinced there has been any training for the team taking calls or facing the public. The waiting room is appalling and setup to make it as unpleasant as possible, they have moved chairs in front of the desks so you can't really hear and you have shout to speak to them, not at all nice when trying to be discreet!

Brilliant! Excellent service throughout. Dr Scott, other doctors and receptionists have always been very kind & caring to us. We would highly recommend this surgery. Thanks to you all at the GP Centre.

I have consistently over more than a decade had the most excellent of service not just from my nominated doctor but the nurses and receptionists. I appreciate it is hard to get through but that is the volume of calls- not therefore the receptionists fault. It saddens me greatly as retired nurse to see such bad reviews. If we went into the administrative area we would see that all are working very hard, the receptionists are kind and efficient and the bureaucracy the doctors need to get through horrendous. Too many negative reviews leads to burn out and staff just leaving. We need to retain staff like never before.

Awful service. Have to wait for ages on the phone to speak to anyone. GPS can be rude or don’t even look up. One GP took a personal call during my appointment. Receptionists are very rude. One told me I was ‘very lucky’ that my prescription was ready after I fractured my rib.

Personally very happy with the surgery. Reception staff are busy but have always been really helpful with anything I needed to get sorted, practice nurse was friendly and efficient and Dr Scott has been excellent in managing my health conditions. I think like all GP surgeries they are underfunded and overworked but I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Absolutely appalling Surgery, trying to get an appointment is almost like a lottery win The reception staff can be very rude To contact them by phone almost impossible Refused to see my 9 month old grandson when he was having trouble getting his breath, told to take him to A&E when he was there in the waiting room!!!

😠 Awful reception service since merging with the other practice! I have been a patient for years, doctors are fabulous but it is an absolute nightmare to get past the front desk.
