My secret obsession… I have visited this place months ago on my way to work when there was a strike on the trains so I was ‘stuck’ at Sutton station for a good hour . Looking for a quick bite I stumble upon this little local treasure. I went in for a coffee and a sandwich . The lady on the counter was extremely nice and friendly and made me forget all about the strike and being late for work. She recommended me a sausage and bacon BAP and a cappuccino to improve my day . I took them on the go and left for the train . The moment I sat down on my seat and opened the box I was very impressed with the presentation. Then came the taste ! The high quality of the ingredients was very noticeable! Definitely NOT your regular local coffee sandwich ! As a matter of fact I was so impressed by the service and the food that for a whole month I was begging my partner to take me there again ! We live outside of London so for us it was quite a drive , but so worth it ! Once we were in I immediately ordered my beloved BAP again and a coffee . Later on the owner came and greeted the customers . He was so lovely , welcoming and polite ! He recommended us a homemade dessert with a hazelnut custard that was to die for ! His professionalism and passion for the food shines through and you can see it in every detail of the cafe . From the light background music , to the spotless environment , Le Creuset tableware and The Good food award on the wall for 2023 and 2024 - everything is in the details - I can full heartedly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience explosions of taste, great service and a bite you won’t forget ! Give it a go and thank me later ! :) PS - We are definitely going back for the slow cooked beef and the rest of the dessert menu 👅

Located in front of Sutton Station, LA cafe it's definitely the best cafe in Sutton. The staff is super kind and friendly, the owner is always smiling and will welcome you in the best way. They have a good selection of cakes and pastries, but also savoury options like the tasty tomato, cheese and pesto croissant. I recommend this place to everyone as the coffee is one of the best I had in London! It's always a pleasure visit LA Cafe.

Very good coffee! We had cuppucino and mocha. Also had their regular lunch items (spicy chicken sandwich, ham & cheese sandwich) which were all deliciously made. We also enjoyed their daily special (pea and ham soup) recommended by the owner. Great customer service and reasonably priced. Totally recommend this cafe!

While waiting for a train at Sutton station, I saw this cafe opposite, and what a delightful find. The cafe is lovely, instead of a typical cafe, its bright and well decorated. I was warmly welcomed as I entered and ordered the bacon bap. I also had my dog with me - some places are funny with dogs but LA Cafe respects animals, and we both felt very welcomed - and as we waiting for the food to be prepared she got a cheeky bacon treat too -I think my dog has a new best place now too! We sat inside where there are many seats with a perfect view on the high street. Ideal for people watching, meeting up with friends or just to come for a coffee and slice of cake. The bap I had was great with a fantastic homemade sauce , and came very well packaged which I especially like...I also have to comment on the fantastic selection of cakes - I will have to try them all but the coconut slice I had was amazing. Its worth coming here I think just to get the cakes. All in all I can highly recommend coming here - the prices are not cheap but as I could not find any fault with the service or any compromise on the quality of the food. The place gets extra praise for being disabled friendly and welcoming of all people!

LA cafe is simply the best cafe around Sutton (maybe London!). We've been there twice now and everything is great! Food is super high quality, everything is thought about and they create an amazing combination of flavours and textures. Desserts are equally high quality, make sure you get the daily special! On top of that, the service is top notch, the owner is very welcoming and you can really feel his passion for the business! Cannot recommend it enough!

Came up to Sutton to visit some high school buddies and we wanted to find somewhere for breakfast on Saturday morning. Saw the reviews for this place and thought we'd try it out. Wow, wow, wow. 5 stars is not enough. I've run my own cafe back in Cornwall for 5 years and this places blows us right outta the water. Quality of produce is off the charts, pricing is way way lower than I would have ever expected and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. If you're in the area and you're not going here for breakfast, you're making a huge mistake. Yall are killing it, keep it going!

We were sceptical at first about all the 5 start reviews. My oh my they’re not misleading! It looks like a regular high st cafe, but it’s anything but. You don’t need to look that close to see and appreciate the level of detail and care that has been put into the service, right down to the crockery. High quality ingredients, fresh, homemade. It’s no surprise they have a Good Food award. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and frangelino mocha. Best mocha I have had! The buns for my sandwich were homemade and surprisingly dense, so it was pleasantly filling. My wife had the full English and chai latte. She absolutely loved how soft the scrambled eggs were. Everything was served on le creuset crockery! No expenses have been spared in providing an upmarket dining experience at a fraction of the cost. The owner is incredibly warm and friendly. He even threw in masala chai latte and blueberry muffin on the house! Picked up a couple of cheesecake slices on our way out. Will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu! 😋

I was looking for a place to have coffee while waiting outside Sutton station. Saw this place had 5 stars reviews and it was absolutely well deserved. Service is top notch from the minute you walk in. Then the food is amazing (do not resist the urge to have the cake with your food because they are as pretty as they are scrumptious. I had the passion fruit coconut slice and it was divine). I also had a yummy frittata baked on the spot and you can tell the ingredients are high quality, with a side of fresh salad and toasted loaf. I would totally go back any time I am in sutton.

Absolutely exquisite food at LA cafe, with freshly prepared cakes at the counter. I ordered the special of the day which was absolutely gorgeous. The owner of the cafe is super friendly and chatty and took the time to speak to each of the customers. We were then prepared a gorgeous dessert between the 3 of us which was unlike anything I've had before. Would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing full breakfast, the best we ever had. Everything made in house. Fresh bread, the truffle sauce was incredible. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, creamy and delicious. Good atmosphere, decor, music and friendly owner Ankur was very accommodating to make sure we enjoyed the food and coffee. Our only disappointment was that we had not visited sooner so that we would have been able to return before our holiday ended

Extremely cosy. The owner was very accommodating with my request due to surgery. The food was delicious and a great combination of flavours. I felt exceptional when the chef-owner explained what he was serving definitely coming back with my wife.

Amazing pancakes! Literally the best pancakes I’ve ever had, lovely light and fluffy texture and the home made blueberry compote is delicious. My partner had a full English and it was just as delicious! Highly recommend, I will definitely be back. Also staff very friendly and cheerful. Parking also available down the side road

Exquisite desert and the best Pastrami sandwich ever. There's also a range of chef's special home made sauces. They bake and make everything in house. Absolutely delicious. The owner/chef, Ankur, is very friendly and passionate about his art.

LA Cafe is one of the best additions to Sutton food scene in recent times. The chefs are really passionate about the craft of baking and it’s evident in the high class of pastries, sandwiches, soups and coffee that you get there. The chefs/owners have years of top end experience under their belt yet both are down to earth and extremely friendly, with no ego that one sometimes sees with folks of such lineage. Our little dog was welcomed and offered some bacon treats as well so now he is a big fan too. We have tried many of the pastries and vegetarian sandwiches which are always delectable. Not only is the regular stuff great tasting, their Gluten Free pastries are amazing as well. In the past we have struggled to get Gluten Free cakes and pastries so it’s great to have a cafe in local area that offers some amazing GF stuff.

Wonderful experience: Great location and easy to pop out from the train station. Yummy pastry they warm fresh for you (and other food looked very good). Tasty coffee and well-made. But most of all, friendly, exemplary service. Super quick and lovely chat - frankly much needed in Sutton. Look forward to returning and becoming a regular.

Coffee 10/10 for me. Best coffee in Sutton to be honest. Both of our sandwiches were delicious and looked pretty. The owner is generous with ingredients like ham (so many slices) ! Hopefully see you again soon. :)

If you are looking for fresh, fabulous and finger licking good food made from the heart and served with love , this is the place for you. My family headed over to the cafe for lunch to try out the newly added lunch menu and we were treated to the freshest food - the chef makes the breads fresh every single morning on site! We were truly impressed by the portions , the hospitality and of course the amazing preparation. We tried the berry cheesecake, carrots and pecan cake slice and cinnamon buns for our dessert along with the chai tea latte and latte and they were absolutely delicious ! Looking forward to heading back again soon :) Well done to the fab team x

Highly recommend! The owner welcomed us in as we were looking at the menu outside. He told us about the high quality ingredients & recommended the sausage bacon BAP. IT WAS SO GOOD! I don’t even like sausage and I ate the whole thing, it was amazing. The owner chatted with us for a bit and was so kind. I felt part of the little LA Cafe while in there. After he learned we were from Tennessee he changed the music to country for us. So sweet! Also… try the sweet tea!

Recently I read an article about the award winning La Cafe. Today as I was at the high street , I wanted to try something from La Cafe. Ankur was very friendly and I enjoyed the ambience. I tried his famous sausage and bacon bap. I am not a big fan of sausages. But as Ankur said it is one of the most fast moving product and everything is made fresh and their own recipe , I thought of giving it a try. And I wasn’t disappointed . It was amazing. I have read about their soups which aren’t repetitive. Will try some next time. A great place to go with friends for a coffee or a bite. Looking forward to go there again.

We have been a regular at this amazing very high quality cafe which has the best coffee, most delicious and aromatic food and michelin star level desserts - catered to your taste along with vegan options. Everything I have eaten so far is of utmost quality and taste. We had scrumptious lunch today! The spicy chicken sandwich, cafe mocha and latte, and the yummy dessert was to die for.. thank you La Cafe for the warm hospitality and super delicious hand crafted food as always.. Sutton is really lucky to have you. Highly recommend it to everyone :)

La Café has become a favourite of ours in Sutton. Not only are the cakes, pastries and desserts amazing but the reason we keep going back is the incredibly personal service. Every time we go to La Cafe for a coffee and treat the service is impeccable. My absolute go to, I can’t rate it enough! They have such a good selection of hot and cold drinks. The food is incredible, id highly recommend any of breakfast sandwiches are like nothing I’ve had before, just gorgeous! An added bonus, a lot of the ingredients are made by the cafe which is amazing. There is so much care put into everything they do and the owner and staff are so accommodating and it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve seen, you can’t ask for much more! I took my grandparents in September who were visiting they loved it, whenever we talk they ask if I’ve been back, they wish they had one home. If you haven’t already give it a try, you won’t regret!

My first time visit to this lovely country and this place....right across the station and you can't miss it. It has an amazing atmosphere, interiors and most importantly amazing owner. The food is to die for, I tried scrambled eggs with coffee and it was awesome...it is seriously delicious

Amazing customer service! I walked in after looking for somewhere I could buy a milkshake burger king only had ice-cream and Afters was not open even past their opening time🤬. I remembered this place as I had walked past a few months ago and saw an ice cream brand I like but the fridge was broken so the owner planned to throw away the ice cream but he kindly gave me one🥰✨. So today I walked in and asked if they do milkshakes and they said no😔! I said WHATS EVERYONE GOT AGAINST MILKSHAKES TODAY!🤷🏾‍♀️. The owner(I think) response was you want a milkshake? Do you mind chocolate? HE MADE ME A BESPOKE MILKSHAKE WITH CREAM ON TOP! So kind also the cakes look so good. I really like this place so far. Thank you!

Happily writing this review at request of the chef/owner who was very kind to us :) Had the vegetable sandwich which was excellent - vegetables cooked really well and pesto was tasty. The baguette was freshly baked that morning and you can tell it was hand made - super crispy. Coffee was good and for dessert we had a hazelnut slice which was really pretty and also we got a free chocolate muffin which was very chocolatey! Much better than any coffee shop chain like costa etc as food is clearly made fresh.. Definitely recommend.

I had been eyeing on this new cafe in the neighbourhood for a while until we finally got there. One bite of sandwich and there was burst of flavours. Tropical Smoothie was great for a hot summer day actually any day. Variety of desserts which run out quickly. I am definitely visiting them again

Amazing food, absolutely 5 stars plus +++++ Food, coffee & special menu (changes daily) are unbelievable! The boss and staff are very friendly! My colleagues and I had daily special lunch menu - slow cooked beef burger! The meat was so soft, juicy and tender, extremely yummy! The boss gave us some soup and dessert to try. It was the best soup ever. Dessert was a kind of mousse & fresh strawberry. It was very light and refreshing! We all enjoyed entirely!
