Forget lack of loads of reviews..use Alex's expertise.. absolutely one of best tailors I've used in 50+ years. 👍

I took my wedding dress down to Chessington tailor, had quite a complex adjustment that I thought would be impossible to sort out. They did such an amazing job I am so happy and it fits perfect now. You cant see at all where the adjustments were! Very skilled tailor. And reasonably priced, would recommend.

So pleased with his excellent quality of work. I provided Alex with the lining fabric and an unlined coat of extreme sentimental value. I asked him to fully line the coat and was pleased that he discussed with me exactly what I wanted and how he was going to do it. He took wonderful care of my coat and was very kind. An absolute bargain too! I expected to pay much more for this quality of work. Highly recommend!

Alex is the best tailor I have ever dealt with. Nothing is too much trouble. I had right time scales and he managed to complete the job With plenty of time to spare. His work is exceptional.

Professional to the 9th degree. Alexander and his team are very skilled and highly professional. They did a wonderful job on a series of skirts for me, using an existing one as a template. Great communication too, letting me know once things were ready to collect.

My experience with Chesington Tailor has been all positive. I had four trousers and few shirts altered, the owner was very proffesional and eager to please. The shop is close to me so this is just another plus, also the quality and price alone are sufficient for anybody in need of quality alterations to bring their clothes here - they will be in good hands! After I found out that Alex can make curtains and blinds I asked him to mesure my window and now I am delighted with my beautiful hand made curtains! Well worth the money. Alex is such a professional - the service received from initial meeting to installation was outstanding quality at each stage. I felt like I was actually listened to and the design far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Alex's services, he is extremely skilled and provide an excellent customer services. Very expensive alteration cost, and my dress was cut to short and unevenly. I went here by the reviews but did not realise it was super expensive. Thank you for the alteration but I regret coming here.

Alex is a total craftsman, which combined with fantastic personal service and a client approach that is second to none makes him an amazing find. Took in trousers to have them taken up. Details taken and measurements noted - Alex said he'd text me when they were done. Within 24 hours I had a text and collected. Quality of work and service was superb and a very good price. Highly recommended.

This gentleman is an utter star!! Just called in to his shop to see if he sold ‘haberdashery items,’ as well as Dry Cleaning. He doesn’t but asked what I was looking for. We were on our way to a family wedding - our sons are wearing kilts & need ‘sock-garters.’ The kilt-maker had included one set not two. When I explained, Alex had me measure my calf & then cut a suitable piece of elastic & handed it to me as a gift!! Top Man.
