Amazing authentic Thai food! This is the best Thai food I’ve eaten and I’ve been to lots of high end Thai restaurants. Huge portions too. 5 stars delicious!!

We came here after looking for somewhere to eat, late one evening. We were blown away by the food and said it was the best we had whilst in Cornwall. We went down to the beach to eat it. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Without fail, in our opinion, the best Thai food in town. After having the opportunity to travel to Thailand 🇹🇭 we fell in love with not only the country, the people, the climate, but also the food. We have returned to Sawai Thai Takeaway quite a few times and sampled a lot of their menu, and it is just delicious. Ordering online is super simple, quick, and easy to use on their own website page. Fantastic. Tasty and authentic Thai food, for a very affordable price. Portions are ridiculously generous. Staff were lovely and it was the best takeout we had in a long time.

Best Thai food I’ve had outside of Thailand! The ladies here are so good and it’s amazing how well they work out of the food truck, trust me the quality of the food is better than most restaurants! Highly recommend! Plenty of options on the menu and they offer local delivery for a small charge.

Ordered a veggie Pad Thai, a green Thai curry and spring rolls for my partner and I. The food was really delicious, excellent in fact. I took my own Tupperware, so no waste at the end. The lady who worked there said that's good for me, that's good for you and good for the planet. I will definitely be returning to Sawai. Thanks

Food was excellent! Good service and the food was yummy! If you want to spend reasonable price and be full for a whole evening come here. 👍🏻 This place is another reason why Newquay is worth seeing

Ate here and the food was delicious. Pleasure to see them cutting fresh pineapple for the sweet and sour dish too. Lovely ladies with a good sense of humour. Highly recommended, which i guess you can tell based on their Google score.

Imagine paying £2.00 more than you have too? Now imagine they do it to every one of you!? Prawn Panang Curry is £9.00. Chicken Satay is £5.50. Rice is £3.00. So why did I get charged £19.50?! Absolute liars.

We stayed at the Elemental Surf Lodge opposite and decided to eat here one evening. The highlight of the week was the Thai food opposite.. Green & Red vegetable curry both amazing and we had plenty of starters which were equally great. Highly recommended if you are staying nearby! 🙏🏻

Amazing Take away serving authentic Thai food at affordable prices. We ordered twice during our stay in Crantock, and really enjoyed the food bth times.

Absolutely the most honest food around ! As I live next door , always schedule my order for collection , consistent, delicious and authentic ! I really don’t understand why some people expect it to deliver food as fast as restaurant ! These people are delusional really, it’s street food and the best around ! Tasty authentic Thai food. One of the best meals we had in Newquay while on holiday for a week. Would recommend the Penang and Massaman curry.

Wow, just wow, don't often leave reviews but this was incredibly good. Best Thai we ever eaten, would go so far as to say best takeaway we've ever had.

Having walked the length of Newquay looking for somewhere to eat, most menus offering burgers, we found this place on our walk back to the car park, decided to order to take back to the campsite and are so glad we did. Excellent value for money, very good quality freshly cooked food that was delicious, highly recommend!

I don't understand the 5 star reviews here, maybe they were having a bad day when I ordered, but my food wasn't that great. They were really busy, it was a 45mins wait for food & I was ok with waiting but I did expect great Thai, instead I got Steamed Chicken Dumplings that were so hard they would have physically hurt someone if I threw them at a person! They were really awful. The Pad Thai was ok but the ingredients were quite dry & tough. The Pad See Ew was the same, good flavour in the noodles but the chicken was tough. They weren't on their A game. To Sawai Thai - Shame you guys spend all your time being upset at reviews that were mediocre instead of recognising the issues & doing better next time, that's all that's needed, not your childish tantrums. You clearly didn't notice that I gave you 3 stars, which means the food was ok but not great. I didn't give you 1 or 2 stars so when you're over your tantrum you can deal with how you skimmed past the good parts!! I wrote hundreds of reviews about Thai food whilst in Thailand actually, but I wrote them on another website that is well known for food reviews particularly. Most of the food in Thailand was awesome actually, maybe you need a trip back there to freshen your skills. I have written positive reviews relating to food & not just coffee but I guess when you're short-sighted you only see what suits you instead of the opportunities to improve. You should re-read my review, see that I had something positive to say about your noodles so it wasn't all negative, which is why it was rated 3 stars & not fewer. I mean wow, your ego is extra!!

Delicious takeaway 😊. Green curry, satay chicken & sauce, pad see ew, and shumai all really tasty and well made. So hard to find tasty food in Newquay that’s not expensive. If we’re in the area again will definitely be getting more!

It was my first time in Newquay and that was our last meal. We are still talking about how amazing it was.
