Probably one of the best places we've stayed in, delightful and incredibly clean rooms with so many thoughtful extras, having OCD I can say this with ease! Location ideal to pubs, restaurants and quaint shops, host couldn't be anymore helpful. A really pleasant stay.

A most beautiful and comfortable Palace of a hotel. Gill and Brad are wonderful hosts who deserve every success for thought and effort that has gone into every aspect, from the luxurious furnishings to the little comforts that make the hotel so welcoming. Booked for 3 nts but had to. keep prolonging our stay. Truly magical.

I'm almost tempted not to review the Tavistock House Hotel for fear of giving away to too many people what an absolute gem of a place it is to stay! I travel to the South West every six weeks or so for work and it's an absolute delight. Brad and Gill are superb hosts, parking is convenient, the rooms are modern, super clean and well appointed and the breakfast if you have time is perfection. See you again in six weeks!

Such a lovely place where a lot of heart, soul and much love has gone into setting up this business together with extensive renovation work to make this a perfect place to stay, with tasteful decor and everything you could possibly need in a room. High quality fittings and well laid out. Very nice touches with sherry, water and excellent selection of tea/coffee. Breakfast cooked to perfection and lots of choice We stayed for 2 nights and can't recommend this place enough. Run by amazing people who work very hard. .

Hotel was lovely. Rooms clean & nicely decorated. Good location. Fabulous staff! Only slight negative (and I am being extremely picky) was that the bath towel we were given was unraveling and a little bit tatty - still clean, however.

A comfortable, modern hotel near to the centre of Tavistock. The proprietors, Bradley and Gill, were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Brad & Gill were super hosts and have a wonderful family hotel. I only stayed one night but left wishing I could stay longer. The room was super - clean, modern, VERY comfy bed, lots of lovely extras. On top of this it's an ideal location - close to the town centre and perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.

Tavistock House Hotel is a gorgeous retreat if you are looking for some quality 'You' time. It has a luxurious feel and is beautiful. The rooms are bright and airy and even have a mini fridge with milk and bottled water. There are also complimentary bath products that leave your skin feeling clean and nurtured. The beds are super comfortable with gorgeous squishy pillows. Breakfasts are delicious and served to order. The boutique hotel also has a bar area where you can chill out with a glass of wine or 'something of your choice'. To the rear of the property there is a handy carpark which also has an electric car charger. The boutique hotel is only minutes from the town centre. The town is steeped in history and it has lots of independent artisan shops, coffee shops and eateries. So if you need a space to feel 'You' again, this may just be it.
