Instead of joining a guided tour, we visited the cave by ourselves. You can connect to the network and scan the QR code at several spots to get more information. Everything works just fine. The cave itself is very impressive, it isn’t too big, but big enough to entertain us and our 5 years old kid. After the tour, we also tried the local wine and the bread, both were interesting. The staff was very friendly and happy to help. The entrance fee is reasonable. If you get bored in Fatima or have bad weather, this cave will be a very good option to fill the time.

Super friendly staff that speaks English perfectly and explained us everything in detail! The caves itself were beautiful and the explanations which are accessible through QR-codes placed throughout the caves were interesting. Though it was not extremely stunning as some other caves I visited. If you’re around the area, I would surely pay them a visit but I wouldn’t come from far away solely for the caves.

Okay so if your visiting Our Lady Fatima and especially if you have an RV stop here! You can fill up water 💧 and dump! There is hours of interesting facts to learn here but we only spent about 45 minutes! Our son loved touring the caves and scanning the QR system! The staff answered all our questions before we went in and after we came out! It’s an incredible tranquil experience!

Absolutely phenomenal 🤩 The Coin Caves in Fátima are a fascinating natural wonder. As I ventured into the depths, the glittering geological formations left me in awe. The play of light on the coins created a magical atmosphere, making it more than just a cave visit but a personal encounter with nature's artistry. The sense of wonder and discovery lingered long after I stepped back into the daylight. There is a discount for students :) Highly recommended

Amazing experience. Easy, interactive, available for children also. All the tour takes approx 40 minutes. Take a free guidance, the guide will tell a lot of interesting things about the caves. And don’t skip the museum, the entrance fee is included to your ticket price (8 euro adults).

Amazing cave. Quite big and interesting. Please don't touch anything. We were touching all the way just because and in the end they explained us that the grease from our hands prevents the stalactites and the stalagmites to grow. We are stupid and we know. Thank you four the amazing tour. Note: of you go during lunch time there's no guide to show you around but there's an audio guide you can follow.

Simply great experience. The tour guide addressed all three groups in Portuguese, English and French brilliantly. We all had a good laugh throughout, and the caves were amazing. Well worth the visit.

I went with my family in 2020, the interpreter guide was really nice, it's about 45 meters down the ground, but we're always accompanied! As most of the monuments, we're not allowed to touch, in order to preserve. It's a beautiful experience, definitely recommend!

A masterpiece of Nature! Beautiful and inspiring. Our guide was awesome, played with our baby, and shared so many valuable information. I wish I could have had more time to check the store with local products!

We have paid a visit here and we love it! They also have one motorhome facility place with dumping and water refilling which is a big plus! The staff was really knowleadgable and nice, willing to help and assist! There are toilets, a small snack bar, a shop with local products, and a museum witha small handmade jewelries. The parking is big enough for its visitors and there alre large places for motorhomes. The caves are very nice , well maintained, with infotainment guidance. We loved the place and we higly recomend!

Quite a small cave system that can either be self guided or with a group. We chose self guided and used the app. Worked well and was informative. Be warned it is quite a small system worth a look but it is not big.

One of the best magical place I ever visited. Located at just 3 km far from the Fátima sanctuary there is this "Coin Cave" with an history all to discover. The ticket is cheap for what they offer, included in it there is also a small degustation at the restaurant/bar over the cave. With the same ticket you can also visit the building in front of it where precious stones are stored. They have also been so kind to drive us to Fátima back because we explain them we reached the cave on foot and we had to come back after the visit in the same way. I really recommend it. Totally!

Awesome cave experience. A lot of steps down and not as many coming back up to ground level. Went in with flip flops on. Didn’t really see any large crystals but was nice and cool down there. Nice souvenir shop and wine and gelato. Super fun with the whole family.

Great Experience, Danilo who was in charge of the guiding was very helpful and detailed with the explanations, besides, the cave is a great visit to be delighted with its geological formations. Also there is a little museum with minerals exposed close to the entrance of the cave... At the end of the visit, they offer a taste of local sweet wine and a piece of cake

What an experience! You can purchase tickets at the arrival. The staff speak perfectly English, you can choose to go in by your own and have a QR code guide during the visit or wait for a tour guide, we did choose to scan the QR codes which are easily found along the path and it was enjoyable. The caves visiting hours is until 6pm.

Magical place! The cave itself is beautiful, surprising with shapes, colours, spaces and sounds. There were only a few people inside at the time of our visit, it was very peacful. I need to emphasize that the staff is very friendly, engaging and professional (Ruben, charming Maria💚). We felt that we were taken care of throughout the whole visit. You can choose a guided visit (every 30 minutes or so) or the audio guide, which works with on your mobile with qr codes. We chose the second option. I wish the audioguide was a bit more developed and engaging. It only gives very brief information on each of 7 stops. There is a small degustation of local sweets and wine at the cafe included. In the museum there is a nice collection of crystals, rocks and fossils from around the world. Overall great experience!

It was a rainy summer day, so we needed to find places out from the rain, and dripping water, not 😅 The caves are very beautiful, with a lot of light a very well kept! I wasn’t able to see any bats, there was a lot of light inside! They are certainly worth a visit, our guide was very friendly and comic.

👍👍 Small stone village, with multiple picnic tables, and a small thematic/sensory trail under the trees. Very pleasant! Worth the small drive and stop! You can take your time and have a few peaceful walks around, stay in b&b, eat at the restaurant or simply come by for quick walk and picnic.
