This place is fantastic. It is a very peaceful place with nice and welcoming folks running it. My plan was to just stay here for the night but I ended up staying another day because it was so nice and QUIET. The breakfast was wonderful and the surrounding countryside beautiful, I will return here again someday.

Beautiful area. Spacious and clean rooms. Amazingly comfortable bed and tasty breakfast each morning. The couple that owns this place is warm and gracious and will help you with anything!! The only thing I can suggest is to rent a car. You wont be able to really get anywhere without one...Castellina in Chianti is 3km away. Siena 30 min. 1 hour from Florence.

The owners are really friendly! The rooms are really comfy, the breakfast is very delicious and the pool with the garden is amazing! I highly recommend this hotel :) I would give 6*+ if I could ;)

my stay was way worse than poor, no words can describe all the disgust that i’ve felt. bathrooms were a joke, and it wasn’t even funny. shower is too small, it is filthy, i wanted to puke every time i was looking at it. room was dark, windows were very small. breakfasts were nice and actually it’s the only nice thing about this place. there was no view from the pool, another pretty unfunny joke. if i wanted to look at bushes i would’ve stayed at home!

Very nice place to stay. The building itself was from 1904 if I remember it correctly. It was well maintained. It was taken care by an older couple. They were very friendly and cute hosts. We had breakfast there everyday and it was very good. They made special cake for every day, fresh bread, coffee and cheese, ham. A fresh fruit was there for every day too. Location wise it close to all the big cities like florenz and sienna and many other smaller beautiful villages, all approachable by car. We loved our stay there.

Bellissimo hotel a due passi da Castellina. Letto confortevole, bagno pulito essenziale. Ogni stanza ha il suo giardino o terrazzo, che io non ho potuto usare perché ho trovato brutto tempo. Un po' caro, ma si sa che lungo la via del chianti tutto è caro. La proprietaria è gentilissima. Ho prenotato all'ultimo minuto ed è stata accogliente. Ho trascorso solo una notte ma lo consiglio vivamente. A 20 metri c'è un buonissimo ristorante completamente indipendente, ma stessa accoglienza molto familiare.
