The Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini was a great drink to accompany the Bacon Pecan Deviled Eggs. I personally had the smoked salmon with cauliflower mash potatoes and asparagus. My boyfriend had the low cut beef ribs which is said were good. The atmosphere was very pleasant and our waitress Toni was very pleasant and professional.

If I could give more stars for service I would!!! We had such a great experience, the wait staff and bartenders were awesome, lots of smiles and very personal able, and timely 😀 The food was excellent, my husband had the sea bass and I had the salmon both delicious 😋 Our appetizers was crab balls and we are calling them hairy balls, never tasted anything like them, amazing 👏 😀 Everything was top notch!!! Will definitely be going again!!!

Anytime I have a chance to have lunch with my husband, I'll take it! The food was great! It was nirvana in my mouth ... the only thing I wasn't a big fan was the white chocolate bread pudding. It was a tad dry, but honestly, the caramel sauce and ice cream helped moisten it. We had deviled eggs and new England chowder for appetizer, my husband order the fish fingers, they were on point! I always get the grilled salmon salad with warmed goat cheese. Perfection!

Going to a Great American Restaurant is always an excellent choice! I was back in town for a trip so I knew I needed to go to at least one. I've been to this Coastal Flats multiple times before this and it's always great. The service is top tier and the vibe is welcoming. If you've never had it, I highly recommend the pecan-crusted trout. The sauce it is served with is to die for! The shrimp and grits is also excellent. But truly, I've never had a bad menu item here.

I recently visited Coastal Flats in Fairfax, and it was a really cozy experience, perfect for a winter evening. The atmosphere of the place was inviting and warm. We started off with some appetizers, their signature ozies, and delicious lobster bisque, fresh and full of flavor. I chose the trout for my main dish, and it was an excellent decision. The trout was cooked just right, with flavors that were both delicate and satisfying. The drink selection was impressive too; their signature cocktails were creative and paired well with the meal. Our server was incredibly attentive, making sure everything went smoothly despite the restaurant being quite busy. Plenty of parking nearby, but it can get busy during peak hours which will lead to some extra walking. But that's ok, another excuse to eat a little more. We like to visit it often.

We dined here on a Friday evening, we were greeted and seated promptly. Very large dining room area, but the warm and cozy decor makes the place feel inviting and comfortable; great ambiance. My cocktail, Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini, shaken and poured at the table; refreshing, and tasty. For starters we shared the Deviled Eggs with Spiced Pecans & Sugar Cured Bacon, great choice; loved the bacon. I started with the Crab & Corn Chowder; well balanced flavors, and served at the right temperature. My main course, Pecan Crusted Trout over Mashed Potatoes; perfectly cooked, loved the chardonnay citrus sauce. My partner ordered the Sauteed Shrimp & Creamy Grit Cakes; and was very happy with his selection. We couldn't say no to the Warm Flourless Chocolate Waffle; Yummy! First time dining in this establishment, and definitely will patronize it again.

Aug 2023 My second time here; this time brought my hubby! He loved the food and the atmosphere. The service and food is consistent! Great quality, delicious, and the servers are quite attentive! They were quite thoughtful in bringing us a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary! May 2023 From the moment I walked in I was greeted warmly. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had the blue crab and shrimp fritters, community bread basket, and coastal shrimp roll. If you get the community bread basket, i recommend TA basket full of the Ozzie rolls (not the assortment) these were phenomenal! The fritters were delicious and not greasy. Nothing was greasy…even the shoe string fries that was served with the shrimp roll were crisp and not a drop of grease. The shrimp roll was slightly spicy but not enough to have your mouth on 🔥. It was also quite tasty. My first experience here was great! From the knowledgeable servers to the atmosphere, I highly recommend!

Been wanting to go here for a long time. Went for dinner on a Tuesday night and it was packed. We had not made a prior reservation and it only took us 15min to be seated. The atmosphere is really nice. Liked their wall paintings and wooden decor. The food was good. Had ordered the bread basket. I would say, the Ozzie rolls are too good. Blue crab and shrimp fritters were amazing. Lobster bisque was good and portion size was good for an appetiser. For entree, we order the short smoked salmon and sautéed shrimp and grits. The salmon was really good. The sautéed shrimp, in my opinion was just okay, felt it was bit under seasoned. Overall a nice place to go on a date or a general seafood lunch/dinner.
