East Beach

Beach

👍 East Beach is a place to enjoy when going to the Beach! My kids love this place. We arrived here and picked a spot. The sun was perfect and a great day to be. We stood there most of the day with so much sun. East Beach is clean and plenty of fun! The sand is part of the reason we choose this beach.... People often mention beach, clean, Beach,

East Beach is a place to enjoy when going to the Beach! My kids love this place. We arrived here and picked a spot. The sun was perfect and a great day to be. We stood there most of the day with so much sun. East Beach is clean and plenty of fun! The sand is part of the reason we choose this beach. They have guest bathrooms and showers which are always clean to use. The maintenance staff need praise for the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

I Love East Beach in New Bedford. The beach is safe and relaxing. If you wake up soon enough, you can watch beautiful sunrises. The water temperature is usually warmer, compared to the other beaches nearby. I love to see all the different cultures mixed up in only one area. East Beach is my happy place.

No more restrooms, no more changing rooms, and the nerve to charge so much for parking 😠.

New Bedford's peninsula & southern coast is beautiful but its environment is under constant threat from human impact. Keep Massachussetts beaches & coastal waters clean. DO NOT LITTER! Let's keep these places beautiful and clean up after ourselves. Protecting the ocean and its environment is everyone's responsibility . Be that change and progress the world around you so desperately needs today. Make a difference! Stand up to ignorance.

Ok so this was my first time to this beach and all in all it was extremely pleasant. The ride itself was very scenic and driving by the whaling ships added an extra element. The water was cold but surprisingly very clean i thought. I'd most certainly visit the beach in the future.

Nice beach. Must have pass for parking if local, otherwise hard to find a place that's free parking.

Nice, clean sandy beach in New Bedford's south end just outside of Fort Tabor. Lifeguards. Parking lots. Beach pass or $10 daily parking fee required. Handicap parking and access to beach via ramps. Men and lady rest rooms available. No changing rooms available. Peaceful. Quiet. Enjoy!

Wide open scenic seaside areas with picnic benches and lots of history.

Nice beach, quite clean water. Thankfully, no algae. Sand is not fine sand, a bit rocky but not too much. Surprisingly, it wasn’t busy on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon. Had a good time.
