EDIT:
With
a
response
to
their
response.
Don't
believe
for
a
second
that
anyone
at
or
in
this
office
has
a
shred
of
empathy
or
cares
at
all
about
the
situation.
They
have
not
reached
out
to
me
personally
once
(phone,
email,
anything)
to
discuss
any
of
it.
Furthermore
they
are
extremely
misleading
in
the
response
that
I
"failed
there
background
check"
and
implying
that
it's
out
of
there
hands.
I've
spoken
to
the
screening
company
and
they
say
the
hiring
company/organization
sets
the
criteria
and
that
I
only
failed
for
credit
score
only
(no
evictions,
criminal
or
civil
issues
or
record,
etc.)
Since
they
knew
from
day
one
that
there's
an
arbitrary
credit
score
requirement
AND
I
came
in
telling
them
I
currently
have
a
poor
credit
score
WHY
have
me
put
down
a
deposit,
apply,
or
even
show
my
daughter
and
I
the
unit
in
the
first
place?
IF
no
one
there
had
the
capability
or
authority
to
look
past
a
credit
score,
that
I
again
was
upfront
about
from
the
jump?
WHY
did
they
not
tell
me
and
why
do
they
not
advertise
to
consumers
and
educate
there
staff
on
what
that
arbitrary
credit
score
requirement
is?
It
would
saved
my
family
and
I
from
significant
stress
and
hardship.
I
was
told
on
a
Friday
that
I
was
denied
on
the
previous
Monday,
and
that
they
had
not
refunded
my
deposit
but
was
also
told
via
email
on
Tuesday
and
Wednesday
that
week
that
"the
property
manager
is
reviewing
your
application".
I
have
not
heard
back
from
these
people
since.
Original
Review:
This
place
just
created
a
homeless
veteran.
I
have
no
bankruptcy,
evictions,
or
criminal
record.
All
of
my
stuff
is
now
in
storage
and
I'm
stuck
in
an
AirBnB
at
$1600
week
with
my
dog
and
6yo
daughter
after
believing
for
well
over
a
week
we
were
moving
in
to
Presidents
Village.
I
brought
my
daughter
to
look
at
it
and
she
also
thought
we
were
moving
in
based
off
the
information
I
got
from
Susan.
While
I'm
looking
at
other
places
I
keep
seeing
ads
for
their
vacant
units.
Tenants
beware
please
and
give
your
business
to
someone
else!
Don't
waste
your
time
or
get
excited
if
you
have
less
than
perfect
credit
(even
if
they
tell
you
it's
okay
and
even
if
you
have
a
guarantor).
This
place
took
and
tied
up
my
deposit
for
over
a
week
-
which
they
said
I'll
receive
a
refund
for
"sometime
next
week",
I
still
don't
have
it
-
and
left
my
family
high
and
dry
without
a
place
to
go.
If
I
could
rate
at
zero
stars
I
would.
Extremely
disappointed.
I
am
a
single
father,
United
States
Marine
Corps
Veteran,
and
a
registered
nurse
with
plenty
of
income
and
multiple
character
and
landlord
references
available.
No
bankruptcy,
criminal
record,
or
evictions.
I
was
upfront
about
my
situation
during
a
tour
(my
credit
score
is
messed
up
after
years
and
significant
expense
while
fighting
for
custodial
rights
to
my
daughter
in
family
court)
and
was
told
to
apply,
that
it
wasn't
an
issue,
and
that
"we
just
need
to
verify
your
gross
income
is
more
than
3x
the
rent".
Applied,
paid
the
deposit,
provided
documents
and
references.
After
applying
I
received
an
email
to
contact
the
leasing
office.
Multiple
phone
calls
over
the
coarse
of
a
week
went
to
voicemail
during
regular
business
hours.
I
was
told
via
email
the
"property
manager
[was]
reviewing
my
application"
AND
in
bold
letters
this;
"Once
you
have
been
given
an
approval
President
Village
invites
you
to
sign
your
lease
online.
It
is
easy
and
saves
you
time.
You
can
complete
your
lease
and
all
necessary
addendums
as
well
as
make
any
necessary
payments
prior
to
move-in
day."
With
no
follow-up
several
days
later
I
emailed
to
say
that
I
was
moving
out
of
my
house
and
that
not
only
did
I
have
some
additional
money
from
that
but
I
also
had
a
co-signer
available
with
800+
credit
score.
They
emailed
me,
on
a
Friday
afternoon
that
I
was
denied
for
poor
credit
that
they'd
refund
my
deposit
"sometime
next
week"
with
the
office
then
closing
for
the
weekend.
Just
an
absolute
nightmare
and
still
dealing
with
the
fallout.
An
absolute
nightmare,
totally
unprofessional,
and
disorganized.
I
feel
like
I
have
no
recourse
here
but
to
leave
this
review.
