😠 The ER department is like something you'd see in 3rd world countries, with people suffering in the waiting room for hours while the triage staff talk and laugh about what Netflix show they watched the night before. I waited over 4 hours to be seen with no explanation of why I had to wait so long. I... People often mention staff, patients, room, hours, nurses,

The ER department is like something you'd see in 3rd world countries, with people suffering in the waiting room for hours while the triage staff talk and laugh about what Netflix show they watched the night before. I waited over 4 hours to be seen with no explanation of why I had to wait so long. It's understandable if they're especially busy or short staffed, but at least have the decency to let the people waiting know what's going on and be kind about it.

Only giving 1 star, because there is no option to give a zero star! ER department is terrible! For an emergency department there was no sense of urgency. Several nurses were watching the master's tour on their work laptops. The nurses have zero empthathy for their patients. Extremely rude to their patients, an literally were bad mouthing their patients to the other nurses without any discretion. My nurse NEVER once came into check on me, other then when I first arrived. I have no confidence in my results. Safe yourself the frustration and go elsewhere!

Never seen any hospital in such poor condition, poorly run. Wheel chairs strewn about in wait area ,potential fall risk. Staff not easily identified as they are dressed as regular population, nurses and secretary staff eating and drinking at work stations, around lab work, etc. Learned far too much personal information about the personal lives of the staff working in the emergency room/triage area, rather than treating patients. After 2 hours left the facility without being seen. No one ever checked to ask where we went, if we were ok, why we left. Disorganized and dirty. Apparently there is no oversight committee.

Worst experience I have ever had. my 75 year mother has been in the hallway for 12 hours in a chair. What? They admitted her at 2pm, what? Crazy stuff. If there was a zero star I would give this place 2 of them

I do not recommend this place for anything. The people in the radiology department are extremely rude and highly unprofessional. Including the manager who told me that I was "triggered" because I was concerned about how rude her employee was when she couldn't answer a question. Go to Boston if you have to go to Beth Israel.

They let my 8p2 year old grandmother sit in the emergency room for over 5 hours with a cut on her head that needed stitches before they came in to clean it and stitch it up. It started bleeding after she got there and the nurse sat there across the hall from her room and not once responded to my grandmother saying she was bleeding and needed gauze. The doctor also got incredibly loud and rude with my grandmother because she was upset with the lack of care. I would avoid this ER at all costs.

I’m waiting in the emergency room with a family member. We have been here all day. I want to compliment Nurse Kimberly and Dr Stonely on doing their job well! Dr. Stonely got to our problems quickly and Nurse Kimberly has been on her A game all day!! I’m glad we came here to this hospital!

I spent a morning this past week in the ER and I think the entire staff did a great job from the moment we walked in, up until we left. I was immediately checked in / registered and the nurses worked efficiently to get the necessary testing completed while managing the ER doctors availability. I experience fainting when drawing blood and the nurses were extremely thoughtful and caring during this process in order to make the experience stress free. The ER doctor Dr. Snyder, was thoughtful, inquisitive and made sure to hear every concern in order to determine the next steps of treatment - all while balancing an entire ER full of other patients. While waiting for additional testing, I even saw him coming out into the ER waiting room to personally check in on specific patients/wheel them in to start his evaluations. I was also sent for a CT - and the technicians were supportive, kind and spent the time describing the whole procedure and walking me through what was going to happen. Lastly, I met with a doctor from OBGYN - Dr. North and she was also kind, thoughtful and thorough. I think the rating of this hospital - especially the reviews regarding the ER are unfair for the medical professionals who do their best at balancing between being efficient, giving thorough/proper care and managing patients various needs - all with resource constraints as any hospital has.

80 year old mother with a fractured vertebrae and they made her sit in ED for over five hours. We eventually had to leave because she was in so much pain she couldn’t sit any longer and they wouldn’t even give her anywhere comfortable to be. A ton of much younger people with minor viral illnesses were treated before my mother. Another woman around my mothers age, came in b/c her pcp said she was having a stroke and she’s still sitting here after three hours and no treatment. This place is disgusting and inhumane.

8/13 ended up there at about 1:30 pm. I can say the nursing staff is excellent. As far as the rest of the experience it was horrible. Showed up with symptoms of 85 percent oxygen and a sever chest infection was brought in to the ER at 5:30 and was on oxygen administered by the staff. ER staff was very good all night except for the two dementia patients. Asked at about 8pm if I was going to be moved to a room. My wife and I pay for are insurance blue cross Blue shield ppo. $24,000 a year with a $2000 deductible and on top of all that also co insurance and scripts pushing $30,000 plus. Thank you Obama for all your socialist and marxism ideas in the heal care industry. As far as the board of directors goes if one of you multi millionaires, doctors or nursing staff was in my position 8/13/23 there would have been a room available to you. Place some modular units on the property Will never solve the problem. The place is a dump instead of worrying about Your wallets it’s time to open them and get involved. It’s called infrastructure. Granted government has absolutely no idea what that means like the career moron politician that’s in there now. Who belongs in a nursing home and should stay out of the health care industry. Open your wallets for your staff and patients you would if it was in Boston Or at Foxboro stadium.
