We did the Lake Rico and big bearhole pond trail. The scenery was gorgeous and the trails were well taken care of.

Camped for three nights and had a wonderful time. Good facilities and firewood was reasonable. Rangers were very friendly.

Great campground. Clean sites. Easy to navigate. Great for kids and camping with friends. Beach wasn't too far away. It was clean. Water was warm. Decent fishing.

Great park (dog friendly) for walking, hiking, bike riding, horses and most other outdoor activities with easy trails. The camp sites are nice with water (not to drink but do you)and electricity in each section. The bathrooms are mostly clean with showers. There's a small pond where you can swim ;pictured;(closed off with buoys, only 3ft deep at most and no life guards). There's also a small playground (swings for babies only). The entrance has fire wood for sale but bring plenty of water since you can't buy there and no bubblers. Fishing and kayaking is fun there too. No motorized vehicles allowed except e-bikes I think since I've seen few around and no horses in camp sites. Quite hours are 10pm-7am. No alcohol allowed. Park rangers patrol. Great family fun for decent price.

Beautiful park and roadside peek at the lake. I stop every morning on my way to work. Also a good place to hike and find a diversity of mushroom species

My first time visiting the state park. Lots of different types of trails from easy to aggressive for walking or mountain biking. Many people walking their dogs. Looking forward to ride more trails on my mountain bike.

Great place for camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting during hunting season. You can also go swimming, but no floatation devices are allowed on any of the lakes. There's also a playground for children near the campgrounds. I believe there's a bathhouse ( I wasn't able to go in and find out). If not, it's just restrooms for the campgrounds and probably for others to use as well.

Great park, conveniently located in the outskirts of Taunton, perfect for families!! Offers camping, biking and hiking trails, fishing, and swimming. Campsites are close to the lake and have grills and fire rings, quiet and serene, perfect for your next adventure! Reasonably priced camping for both RVs and tents

It’s a nice campground but it’s way overpriced if you’re out of state. $68 by the time you pay taxes and fees! Ridiculous!! I understand giving residents a discount but nearly $40 extra for out of state people is just insane to me. Cell signal isn’t great, close to 0 with VZN. Showers were dirty, people were throwing away food into the bucket trash can and there was trash in the shower drain. Not many other options nearby, but I would avoid camping here if you are out of state resident. The actual campsite was very nice and spacious. We had W/E at our site and there is a dump station. Closed for the season by mid October.

It was nice, but lots of people everywhere. I stopped on Friday morning and it was busy. I can't image what Sat./Sun. are like here. Lots of trails and mountain bikers. Water was cold and nobody was in it. That would bring even more folks. The camp ground was filling up with several trailers checking in.

Site 28 was good. Site 24 a paved site but rain washed dirt, rocks, pine mulch and mud into site on pavement from the road. Know I wouldn't park there again. Plus got infested with big black ants.

I love ❀️ this place! it's so nice to have a beautiful woodsy place to walk the dogs. They love it & have great fun! I wish people would give it more respect & care though. I regularly bring an extra bag with me to pick up trash people drop. It makes me sad to see that some care so little for it. It won't be around long if we don't treat it better.

The campground and park itself were beautiful. However, we paid $7 a piece for wet bundles of firewood, some with mold and mushrooms growing. Literally had water pouring out of some. Two days in a row. After I complained the guy took the wet wood back and gave me more wet wood. What a ripoff. We were also never told some bathrooms were closed, that was fun to figure out. Not to mention most bathrooms were gross and poorly maintained. Not sure if I’ll be coming back here.

We mostly come here to go to the playground with our toddler, but we really can't wait to explore some of the hiking trails! The playground is awesome for kiddos of all ages and is very safe and naturally shaded. A definite good time for everyone who goes.
