Very tasty food. We had the jerk chicken wings which were amazing! The burrito filled up jerk chicken, chickpeas and rice was also the best burrito I've tasted. (There was different names for these dishes which I can't remember). Decor was cool and colourful and it wasn't too busy which was good as its not the biggest of spaces. Waiter was working alone but done a good job handling multiple tables. The only issue was that we didn't get a side dish of cheese loaded fries until the very end of the meal as the kitchen forgot but we got these on the house so I do not mind that at all. We also wanted nachos which were not available but this wasn't a big issue. Overall its a good place to eat in and I may come back again some day with friends in the future.

A wonderful addition to the Aberdeen food scene. The first dedicated Caribbean-inspired restaurant on the city, expect to find a whole feast of new dishes including fried plantain. From smaller plates to much larger plates, mains, starters, desserts and everything in between, you won’t go home hungry from this eatery. Bright, bold and beautiful, the restaurant stands out from the crowd and will bring a real flavour of summer to the city during the colder winter months. Definitely try out the plantain and almost all of the starters are a must.

Love this place! Jerk chicken is amazing, choice of 'rice and peas' or chips and coleslaw. Lamb curry is delicious, meat tender. Staff are friendly. Byob

Had some lunch here with the family. Good variety of food available and it was all really delicious. I particularly liked the marinated jerk chicken and the salt fish (it's definitely salty). We also had panko breaded prawns, chicken wings, oxtail stew, chicken callaloo and chicken curry. The service was good and friendly. The price and portions were more than fair.

Something a little different from your usual cuisine you can find all over Aberdeen. Nicely decorated, the restaurant offer a good selection of Caribbean style food which, honestly, was tasty and delicious! I would definitely recommend a visit! Great food for a fair price 😋

The place is lovely inside , friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We were disappointed with the quality of the meat and the ribs seemed to be the ones you buy in a packet in Aldi or Tesco etc. I had the curry and thought it was delicious. We also had the churros which were lovely. Good prices and I would visit again but not order the ribs.

Loved our main course, so delicious. Desserts were a let down but we still enjoyed our dinning experience. Staff were perfect. Thank you.

We just had the most delicious dinner here. Handy central location in Aberdeen and plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Best of all the staff are so lovely and accomodating! Thank you for an amazing meal, we’ll definitely be back.

Cracking little place hidden among the bustle of Aberdeen. Despite the rustic interior and the tacky floors attempting to steal your shoes, the staff are pleasant and the food well worth the gamble. Sampling the Fish Cakes, Buss Up Shut Taco and Sunshine Salad. Great spicy without overpowering your taste buds. Highly reccomend.

Really enjoyed my first experience of Carribbean food. Friendly service, funky venue, great food. What else do you need. No alcohol sold but you can bring your own and pay a corkage.

Ok. So this was our first time here. Positives: The staff is extremely nice and made us feel welcome even though we just walked in on a Saturday evening without booking. She found us a table very quickly. The food is amazing! We had chicken and ribs. Finally a place, where the food tastes different in the best way! The place itself is clean, bright and friendly. There was only one negative thing. Maybe two, but that will not hold us back from returning in the future! Some wall arts really didn't work with the Caribbean theme. And neither did the music. We were somehow disappointed not hearing Caribbean music, but some weird jazzy something. But hey! Everything else was AMAZING!

We went here as a group of 4 after a gig, it was late on Sunday night so we were the only ones there. I ordered the Oxtail stew, its was delicious and if I lived in Aberdeen I’d be ordering this easily once a month. The meat fell of the bone, excellent seasoning and good portion of meat (the left overs were swiftly demolished by boyfriend). The rice was light and well seasoned and the sauce had a great depth of flavour. Ordered the plantain side dish, also really moreish but maybe a little more in terms of size and portion would have been good. The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and was prompt with service and making sure our drinks were toped up. I will go here again when I'm next in Aberdeen.

The food here really is excellent as is the service and tha ambience. A real hidden gem that really did exceed our expectations. Food isn't too spicy and reasonably priced. Highly recommended, we are certainly going back.

Excellent service, incredible food. We ordered the fish fry and a plantain and halloumi burger. Both were well cooked and seasoned. The fish fry in particular was expertly made, with thin, flavorful breading and perfectly cooked fish. The jerk seasoning used in the fries and other elements of the meal managed to be flavorful without being particularly spicy, which I wouldn't have minded but definitely made it better suited to the group we were with.

We really enjoyed our meal here. I had okra and peas with rice. (Vegan choice) husband had the oxtail stew. Both excellent. Good service, nice surroundings, had a chat with some other diners, was a general good vibe place to eat, would return.

Very tasty and cheap food. No alcohol beverages available but the non alcoholic ones are good. We had food at a Wednesday during summer and it was not crowded at all.

What a joy of a place! The food is great, the staff friendly and the service fast. My partner had Chicken Tikka Tango Masala with roti bread, and I had Curry Lamb Pot, also with Roti bread - these were decent sized bowls of food, which my partner struggled to finish. We then had Churros and Oreo & Chocolate Patties, both with Rum Caramel sauce. Truly delectable. The quality of the food and the cooking was superb with a friendly team delivering promptly to our table. The place itself is unusual and quirky, with tables on two floor levels, and a very individual decor. Worth a regular visit - we'll be back.

What can I say, from the wonderful atmosphere and the gentle beats easing us into a fantastic dining experience. Food was cooked to perfection with a range of spices and flavours tailored to each meat and fish expertly. If you're a fan of Carribbean food then this place should fast become a consistent choice for a night in or out as they do offer food on just eat. The meat platter was a delightfully large and well prepared meal, two companions at our table shared it and now leave as deep and compassionate friends. Great place. Great food. Great vibes. Would come again for sure (when I'm next in Aberdeen). The star of the show was the callaloo which was a smash hit with two at our table, I partook in the beachboy salad which left me more than satiated and with a range of spices and sweetness, it was outstanding. Overall our table was given sizable portions so be sure you're ready for the meal ahead 😊 Additional note: my friend really wanted the lamb with her starter and they graciously allowed her to change the meat type with the base meal to lamb. Great service.

Difficult to know where to start with this review tbh, not sure if we walked in on the end of the restaurant or just a terrible night. Restaurant was empty at 745pm bar a table of 2, zero atmosphere. Young man front of house was pleasant but didn't appear to know the menu, didn't bring wine glasses and didn't even bring plates when the sharing food came out. Having to go and ask for plates in a restaurant was a first. Honestly don't know if he'd ever worked in a restaurant before but he desperately needs trained. Staying off his phone and attending to the diners would be a good start. We felt like we'd intruded on the staff's night off. Ordered the sharing platter at £45....a plate of meat with a dollop of coleslaw and a tiny bowl of chips. The meat was seasoned well and tasty but I expected a lot more from a sharing platter. The curry bowl was very good. Not given the chance to order dessert. When I asked the FoH why the evening was so shambolic he told me the owners had covid and they were doing their best. Hopefully this is a one off as I've enjoyed it before, but I found myself having to apologise to our guests for the experience.

I've been recommended to come here for a while now on Google maps - menu sounded interesting and there aren't many similar cuisines in Aberdeen. Funky layout and great music adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious, I had one of the Carribbean curries which come with 'rice and peas', flat bread and plantain. The lamb pot curry I had was slow cooked and very tender along with a great tasting sauce. I've got a bigger appetite than average so if you're like me I'd suggest adding a side dish to the main if you're hungry. Service was friendly and excellent.
