It seems a nice place. Politics comments are offensives. I' am argentinian but I think the problems are in our goverments. A piece of this gratefull land can' t value only a drop of blood of nobody, Britains or Argentinian... Please, we have to live in peace!!! The wars are a horror in all the world. Thanks a lot.

I think that the Argentine people are indoctrinated from an early age on untrue history about the Falklands islands. The people that live there and have always lived there are from British descent and they should be allowed to live in there own country in peace.

We received a very warm welcome whilst visiting from Norwegian Star in December 2019. This church is clearly Christ centred. It also happens to be an attractive building, with a lovely stained glass window featuring a bicycle! Weird I know, but it belonged to a much loved member of the community.

Christ Church Cathedral, on Ross Road in Stanley, Falkland Islands, is the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world. It is the parish church of the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the British Antarctic Territories. The Parish of the Falkland Islands is part of the Anglican Communion. The rector of the cathedral is under the ordinary jurisdiction of the Bishop of the Falkland Islands; since 1978, this office has been held ex officio by the Archbishop of Canterbury, who is both ordinary and metropolitan for the small autonomous diocese. In practice, authority is exercised through a bishop-commissary appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury, and known as the Bishop for the Falkland Islands.

Cute small church (cathedral) which is old and worth a stop to look around while walking around Stanley.

Nice church. Also, we kicked that old bag in the nutsack. Pirates, conquering small places around the world just to break other countries' balls. No empire lasts for a thousand years.
