Worst experience I have ever had. When we got there, there were not any other customers. It took almost 10 mins just to get our drinks ordered because the lady working was facetiming a friend. I ordered chili and a house salad, my fiance ordered a cheeseburger and fries. It took almost 30 mins for the food to come out and when it did, it was barely luke warm. My fiance asked for a well done burger, it was still pink inside. Our meal cost almost $40! We will never go back here again, which bums me out since 20-25 yes ago it was a favorite place to go

HIDDEN GEM - went in for late lunch this past Sunday and was pleasantly surprised and you will be too. This place has excellent food. We had the fried calamari with a homemade spicy tomato sauce and lemon wedges for an appetizer, my wife had the spaghetti and meatballs that were made fresh that day and I had the signature burger. The calamari was Fried to perfection, not greasy just the right amount of batter I would have a hard time making this at home. My wife’s pasta was cooked al dente and the meatballs were really tasty and generous they tasted fresh with excellent meat quality. My burger was a half pound expertly cooked with Swiss cheese, perfectly cooked bacon avocado sauteed mushrooms a thick slice of tomato and fresh green lettuce thank God not iceberg in a really delicious brioche bun(add pickled jalapeños) , the shoestring fries were FRESH not greasy at all and everything came out really hot. I have to tell you this burger was better than the great Dane or the old fashioned or any of those Gourmet burger pubs - we had capital Amber and get this “frosted mugs” We live very close to downtown Madison and now when I want a really good burger I’m gonna have to drive to Sun Prairie (such is life) The owners pictured framed a local newspaper review they received march 2022 The food critic gave them an excellent score - we wholeheartedly agree!!!!

I visited this diner because sir hobos was closed for a family vacation. And I was NOT disappointed. The average crowd here will Definitely make you feel young... The pancakes are immaculate. Honestly best pancakes I've had in a long while. Fluffy but crispy at the sides. Exactly like mom would wake you up with on Saturday mornings. I would say the atmosphere is very ideal for a diner. They are kind enough to print large examples of food you're waiting to receive. The ambiance is a quiet nod to the early 2000's Tuscany kitchen remodel. And I love that they kept the old stainless steel coffee thermos. And they do a great service to the city of sun prairie for all the kindness they show the geriatrics. Dispite some of them being quite nasty to the staff. Wait staff - I see you and the patience you so undeservedly give. I did have to remove a skunk point because there was an onion on my pancake (not very big but I was still disappointed) and the hash browns were mid. Basically grandmas right, visit this place

Very good food that was cooked as ordered. Staff was very pleasant as well. Definitely would recommend this place.

Average fare…. Oddly enough the taco meat is chili…. See pics… Weird! Prices are a little high for the area and the food. Also a little slow on Sunday morning. The best thing about this place is the staff. They are super nice and very accommodating. We will be back but will probably choose a different time and not more chili doused entrees.

Not worth the money you spend for small portions, average tasting food. Beware of prices for side orders. If you do go make sure to know what's included with the meal because they will ask you if you'd like to have sausage with your French toast but not tell you it's $5 for two pieces of sausage. Better off going to Denny's

Great breakfast fare, good service, and quick. The bathroom was a little rundown but that's a small issue when everything else was great. Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

Delicious! Ate mid morning, breakfast/lunch. Food was Great! Place was very clean and staff was attentive and friendly. Soup was homemade and VERY GOOD!
