The facility, inside is beautiful ... outside, well the grounds are in need of some serious landscaping. I've been in Thruway rest stops with better landscaping. Be prepared (unless you pay the premium inclusive price) to pay for all services. We had a couple message (fair at best) that was listed for $375.... total cost 448.40 before tip. Not only do you pay for everything there is a very silent 18% service charge (?) added to everything. The staff was engaging. During our 4 day stay there was no housekeeping, would have at least wanted clean towels. Pool was cold, jacuzzi was out of service. The food was tasteful for a vegan offering and plentiful. Overall if you want to stay inside the hotel indulge in pricey spa treatments, are OK with doing without a hotel bar, being steak-less (or any meat-less) for your time there .. well then, namaste!... but a four day stay can easily run you $4,000.

I've been here twice in the past year and I love it. Honestly, it's so very under-capacity that it's super-zen. The rooms are fabulous: double king size beds with the softest, coziest linens and nearly all rooms overlook the lake and sunset; Yoga sessions are great; spa bathrooms have it all. Here goes: the toilets seat are heated with all sorts of bidet features ;) The food is locally sourced and vegan. My friend thought we'd starve, but she loved loved the food - we didn't miss the meat! They do need to work on more advanced spa treatment reservations. Booking the place months in advance I did not appreciate not being able to book the spa treatments until the week of! That's gotta change. Everything else is great. Note: no night spa treatments - this is a wellness center.

Staying at YO1 was an awesome experience. It is a spacious, peaceful, serene property which can have a calming influence on guests. The property boasts of an excellent swimming pool, spa with experienced massage and accupuncture therapists and most importantly yoga and meditation sessions. The facility is extremely well equipped for yogic, meditative, and therapeutic sessions. Property is very well maintained with serenity everywhere. Food options are limited. Our timing was right as there were not too many guests. Overall, I would highly recommend this stay if you want to pamper yourself with peace while also planning to learn and practise yoga, and meditation.

I had an amazing long stay at YO1 Health resort with my parents. This was the perfect getaway from all the city noise. My dad enjoyed the healthy breakfast and nature walk. My mom got a chance to explore the huge variety of soups which were provided every other day. I found that there was always something new to look up to, when waking up at the resort. Besides the food there are numerous things at the resort that kept me busy like the amazing activity room, swimming pool, gym and the reflexology walkway. We were lucky enough to have had a chance to meet the celebrity band Phish who also happened to stay at the resort. Overall the place had a nice ambience with amazing private yoga sessions with Yoga experts. The staff was well mannered and friendly. I plan to come back again with my friends! Thanks for an amazing getaway!

I had an incredible long stay at YO1. I had an amazing view of the lake from my king suite and enjoyed the steam room facility in the privacy of my shower in my suite, something I haven’t seen in other hotels in all my travels. I enjoyed swimming in the pool and also walked on the reflexology walkway in the pool area. The hotel is beautiful and serene and though they don’t have room service they accommodated a clean up and change of bedsheets etc. a few times because of my long stay. The staff and management were great and went out of their way to accommodate me with some of my requests. I had a few acupuncture sessions which really helped with my back pain. I had a few different Ayurveda massages, some Hydrotherapies including an under water massage and also tried the Mud therapy, I really enjoyed all my therapies and all the therapists are fantastic. The facilities and locker rooms were clean and I loved the fact that I could use the sauna, steam and jacuzzi baths which were available throughout the day. Some days they were short staffed but I always had my therapies on time and everyone made an effort to ensure my stay was comfortable. The food was amazing, as a vegetarian I loved their gluten & dairy free options. Some of my favourite dishes were the Chickpea wrap with sweet potato fries, Chateaubriand, Turkish Kofta and their vegan meat options. I will recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a relaxing holistic getaway. The property is very big and I spent a lot of time walking on the trails around the lake. A big thank you to all the staff and management who were absolutely amazing. I look forward to another stay soon.

For a place that’s supposed to be about chill and relaxation, their reservations manager is the least chill person. My wife and I booked a night during a slow fall weekend. I ended up both throwing my back out and also catching a horrible stomach bug that left me entirely bed ridden. I had called the hotel beforehand and let them know. I was told they oftentimes will credit back the room to be used 3 months in the future. The reservation manager never picked up after I was forwarded, so I called back later. She leaves at 2pm. I was told to call back the next day between 10-2. She didn’t reply again. Sent a follow up email only to hear that they were not honoring the 3 month credit I was told about, and that I was in explicit breach of their policy. I offered to show a doctor’s note to prove what had happened, no reply. My wife and I had been there before - we do a fall retreat weekend for yoga, sauna/steam, etc. I told them we are annual customers and that if they weren’t going to honor what they told me we’d never be back. They did not reply. We were technically within a few hours of their cancellation policy. That’s fine, but the policy protects you from people deciding not to show for whatever reason. And you can’t tell a customer that they’ll be getting a 3 month credit and then not issue it. We would have spent more on the property on food, message treatment, etc. Plus we’d have planned to be back each year. What kind of business decision is that? And I’ll also mention the first time we went - tons to like about it, but there were a lot of things not working / out of service. It felt like they were going under, and it seems that they may be given the above. Bottom line: they only care about their bottom line. I’ve been to Marriott Courtyards that would honor things like this. Pretty sad and we will find a new place - there are many in the area and I suggest you do as well unless you want to business with these types of people.

YO1 Longevity & Health Resorts is a great choice for those looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. The resort offers a variety of amenities and activities, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The resort is set in a beautiful natural setting and has a friendly staff. It is a great place to relax and rejuvenate. Loved how clean the facility is and our room was super spacious with amazing lake views. I had a massage treatment which was relaxing and much needed. They even have a scenic nature trail that you can walk/bike (the facility has bikes you can use during your stay). They even have a 24/7 game room and facilities like indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Highly recommend whether you are looking for a solo staycation, relaxing getaway or celebrating a special occasion.

Fantastic! Enjoyed our stay very very much. First class facility. Staff amazing. Michael and Suzanne helped us with everything and even solved a problem that made us very pleased. Robert the nighttime restaurant manager was awesome. Made us a in-room dinner because we were tired from our travels. He was great and super personable. Food was amazing. Portions were actually too big. Soup and salads fantastic! Both David and Alex were excellent and knowledgeable masseuse. Room was huge and well appointed. Surroundings and lake view beautiful! You will not be disappointed with your stay at YO1!

Second time coming here in less than a year. To say the resort & surroundings are beautiful, is an understatement. When I arrived Maggie at the Wellness Counseling office was wonderful. There were quite a few schedule changes and Maggie made it all happen. My Wellness Counselor was amazing. She truly cared about my health, and gave me some great tips on how to improve it. The spa is gorgeous. The Masseuses at each therapy are wonderful people. They made you feel calm and serene throughout your stay. Please do yourself a favor and request at least one therapy with Denise. Denise came on my final day (one of her days off) just for me, that just goes to show how much she, and the rest of the staff care about the guests. Both managers at the restaurant were very helpful and kind as were the waiters. If you're looking for a relaxing serene getaway, I could not suggest Yo1 more.

We planned a yoga and wellness retreat to YO1 and were not sure what to expect. This place is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. The peacefulness, serenity, and beauty of the property helped us achieve our goals from the retreat. The whole place is designed to help you enjoy and relax. The staff are very well trained and helpful and you will feel very well taken care off. We booked the package and enjoyed the food choices, yoga and other activities and the massage treatments. The staff are amazing and super friendly. Therapy and massage sessions in the prime times (late afternoon / early evening) tend to run out fast so book early. This is a place for adults to escape the " noise" of our lives and refocus ourselves. We are looking forward to our return trip next year.

Health and wellness retreat par excellence! I came up with health concerns and received outstanding massages and acupuncture. The food was healthy and tasty. Special shout out to Susana at the desk for her help and cheerfulness. All the therapists were skillful and Sharon the acupuncturist curing me of a stomach pain which no other health professional could. I felt so healed after my first visit I was back in a month and plan on making regular visits.

This is one of the most attractive and beautiful hotels, I have ever stayed at. If you would like to spend a weekend practicing yoga and meditation, with multiple classes per day included, it does not get any better than the beautiful yoga room with glass walls looking out on the forested Catskill mountains and their lake. All the rooms are large and spotless and comfortable. There are some things that were not open when we came, which you should be aware of. Such as the hot tubs, whirlpool, and the regular saunas. But for better or worse its not crowded and there are no kids allowed which adds to the overall serenity. All of the yoga instructors we have had there were great. Some are less challenging than others though. Looking forward to our next getaway there, whenever that is.

I stayed for a week in early July. It was a wellness wonderland set in the most beautiful grounds with nurturing staff and a very high standard of treatments and practitioners. I didn't do a program this time, but worked out my own program which was perfect for me. This I think allowed me to relax and not feel too busy, which you could easily feel with so many parts of the experience. I travelled on my own and met a lot of fabulous people who all shared a common goal to improve their health and wellbeing. I never felt lonely with the balance of alone time and social time. Words cannot describe the utter bliss of YO1 wellness. One feels transported to another realm. Everything is so beautifully designed and integrated into the natural surrounds. No plastic in sight. Food is quite outstanding. Such a huge selection and so healthy too. Service of all the staff is impeccable - including the spa therapists, reception, room and pool attendants. Everyone is friendly, kind caring and helpful. Beautiful Olympic size pool. It's almost like a dream when you are there. One has the choice of different exercises & yoga as per their activity schedule. Interesting talks too. What an absolutely marvellous place. Such a privilege to have stayed there. The resort offers many different options from detox to yoga and anything in between such as my favourite simple massage. My friend and I really enjoy the resort and appreciate the amazing food kind stuff. I will definitely return... every year I hope!

Room was extremely spacious, with a bidet, separate huge shower and a beautiful view. Really good buffet style breakfast and vegetarian lunch and dinner. Wish they had more variety for the lunch and dinner but overall good food. Had a Swedish and Hot Stone massage. Both were good but the hot stone was the best! Wish it wouldn’t have been interrupted by a fire alarm but I was compensated by the wellness center with a mud wrap that was awesome. The biggest critique about this place for me is that it’s huge with not enough staff to show you around. You can get lost easily! Also, some of the hotel needs upkeep. The mediation was great. You get a lot for the price. Would visit again. Was a relaxing experience.

I did the 3 nights wellness package which is excellent. From arrival experience to initial consultation, the treatments, room, etc everything was exceptional. As a first timer to a wellness & holistic resort it was difficult to imagine it in advance. Of course one needs to make an effort to fit in, to do the necessary detox, to go to some of the free classes they have in meditation, yoga, firtness etc, and even after 3 days it felt like the reset button had been pressed. The staff were all wonderful, kind and helpful and the food very healthy but you can choose how much vegan you want to go as there are choices for food. For a health conscious and healthy food loving person, this place was simply everything I could dream of! I loved every dish and there was so much choice for me! It is an outstanding beautiful resort with excellent service, food, accommodation and wellness, fitness and other facilities.

14 day program this month at the beautiful and well organized YO1 Resort. The "Relax and Renew" program was a joy and so blissful. Our Suite was so spacious & comforatble. The two showers made it far more interesting than a normal resort in Catskills. The healthy food was absolutely delicious. Every dish exceeded expectation! The morning yoga pavilion offered a beautiful setting and lovely breeze. A mix of indulgent relaxation treatments, time to do very little and enjoy the stunning setting and warm weather, and some exercise/therapies is my recommendation for the perfect stay here. It's a retreat rather than a pure holiday, so best to come here ready to invest in your health and wellness. Would absolutely recommend a stay here if you are after a beautiful health retreat, to relax and eat well. It wouldn't be the perfect spot to stay for someone not aware of this. I hope to return and sample more treatments here.

Absolutely outstanding! I opted for their Pain Management and Restorative Package, which eased all my pain and discomfort and made me feel refreshed from within. The ambiance looked world-class so it was awesome. The staff were most knowledgeable and helpful. Their huge pool is very clean and hygienic. The conscious cuisine is well-presented, delicious and totally vegan too. Overall outstanding so would definitely recommend to visit at least once!

Amazing experience! The grounds are so peaceful and the resort is huge with everything you could imagine to support your well being. I spent three days here and took advantage of the yoga, the meditation, the gong, the nature trails, steam bath, sauna, spa, pool, jacuzzi, gym, theatre and amazing vegan restaurant. I am not a big vegan person but had it not said it on the menu I would have never known. The food was delicious, healthy and a nice variety. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and helpful from the moment arrived and throughout my stay. I highly recommend staying here and be sure to explore the entire property. I’ve never been to a wellness spa and this was truly a wonderful experience. I planned on staying only two nights and ended up booking an extra night. I spent more than expected but it was well worth it and next time I come I will do things slightly different but no regrets. I felt pampered and like a new person when I left.

YO1 is like a little piece of heaven. The grounds are in a beautiful location and are immaculately maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and very well trained in what they do. I felt thoroughly taken care of. The therapies offered are luxurious and efficient with a huge range to choose from. The food is absolutely amazing and so healthy. The food is seriously incredible, better than many restaurants in Catskills where I live and the wait staff are so friendly and attentive. The daily activities on offer outside your own package are well thought out and cater to everybody, even if you’ve never tried meditation or yoga. There is no other place I’ve found in the world that makes me feel so utterly relaxed, rejuvenated and complete, ready to face the reality of city living and all it’s stresses again. Thank you to all the amazing staff, management and practitioners at YO1. It is truly a life changing mind, body, soul experience. The offer full board packages. You don’t need to get out of the resort. You will live few days elegantly. I was on the Restorative Package Retreat and have to say that it was fantastic. Beyond expectations, life changing. The mentors were great and very knowledgable. The resort is beautiful, food was awesome, staff super friendly. Felt very safe. If you have the money, go! They are expensive but luxurious offerings you will make the most of your stay.

I enjoyed staying at YO1 Longevity and Health Resorts in Catskills, New York. From the moment I stepped onto the property, was amazed by the sheer beauty of the surroundings. The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The Ayurvedic treatments were effective, and felt energized and relaxed after every session. The sauna session was also great for relieving stress and tension. I also appreciated the various activities, such as yoga and meditation classes, hiking, and biking. All in all, my stay at YO1 was a wonderful experience.

My recent, July 2023, visit to YO1 was my first and it was a great experience. I was surprised by the incredible natural beauty on offer at YO1 and their lush green setting were a real highlight. Stunning! The healthy food was absolutely delicious. Every dish exceeded expectation! Staff were all so warm and caring and seemed genuinely proud to work at YO1 and keen to ensure guests had a wonderful stay. Accommodation is comfortable and spacious and the pool offer great alternative spots to relax/read between therapies and exercise etc. YO1 Longevity and Health Resorts truly exceeded my expectations. From the serene surroundings to the top-notch health programs and therapies, my stay was rejuvenating in every sense. The staff were quite knowledgeable in addressing my specific health needs. The yoga sessions overlooking nature's beauty were a highlight. I left feeling revitalized and motivated to maintain a healthier lifestyle. A definite destination for anyone seeking a holistic wellness getaway!

YO1 is elegantly designed over a beautiful location and offers a large range of programs. I was on anxiety management package with my partner. It was such a great environment to disengage from the stimuli of overdoing in city life. As a vegan, the meals were perfect for me. I can safely say that I don’t need anymore massages for a few weeks. I had so many varying treatments that came with the package. I would highly recommend Abhyangam massage therapy. The service is impeccable. The staff are all warm smiles and so full of humility. There are a variety of movement classes to try. As a mover, I appreciated all of them. Breathing and meditation start at 6:30 am and yoga starts at 7:30 am. If you’re looking for an urban escape and to connect deeply into yourself with plenty of quiet time for self-reflection and contemplation, this is the peaceful haven for you.

I celebrated one of my best birthdays at this resort. The best attributes of my experience were the staff! The people who work at this resort are golden. They were kind and full of life. I had some of the best conversations with them and they treated my mother, who is a senior, with a lot of care. Nathania gave me the best massage of my life! It was an experience that left me on cloud 9 on my birthday! The kitchen surprised me with a cake at dinner and they all came out singing Happy Birthday! The food was also great! especially with my hesitation of it being mostly vegan. Honestly this is a place to get away from it all and relax. I chose the inclusive package so I didn't have to guess any prices. I really was happy with my services. Everything was beautiful! I'm so happy I chose to come here and look forward to bringing more family and friends here as well!

The natural beauty of YO1 is awe-inspiring, with lush greenery, breathtaking views and its own private lake, providing guests with a serene experience. The wellness programs are thoughtfully designed, and I was fortunate to have treatments with their specialists, whose expertise exceeded my expectations. The daily yoga and meditation sessions allowed me to reconnect with my inner self, and the healthy cuisine was a delight for my taste buds. The staff at the restaurant are truly exceptional; they enthusiastically presented the food and explained the menu in detail, adding to the overall dining experience. The dedication of the entire staff, from healers to caregivers, is palpable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire YO1 team for making my stay exceptional. I can't wait to return!

My girlfriend and I stayed YO1 Spa this weekend and were terribly disappointed. Their website is deceitful and the online reviews are grossly inaccurate. The facility looks to be only a few years old and probably can accommodate several hundred guests. However upon arriving we saw literally two other cars in the parking lot and that point became suspicious. Upon checking in we realized we had been scammed. They are obviously in financial trouble, as there were probably only 6 employees we could identify amongst the 6 or 8 guests other than ourselves. As we walked through the empty facility it made us feel as though we were in a horror movie, this big beauty hotel spa, yet nothing was working or even open. It was very dirty and obviously not cared for like a hotel that charges the nightly rates they do. The pool is unheated, the big hot tub doesn't work (we were told by an employee it hasn't worked for years) none of the amenities were open and none of the services they offered were available. We tried to book them a week in advance and were told by the inexperience young lady answering the phone they were booked. We did have a massage and in all fairness that was good. But the two masseuses didn't want to answer the many questions we had about the resort being so empty and broken down. Day we had to leave the facility due to a fire alarm going off and at that point we were able to confirm there were only 6 other guests in the entire facility other than us, along with approximately 6 or so employees. We obviously spoke with the other guests and they felt the same disappointment my GF felt. I could go on longer but you get the gist of my review herein, if you are considering going here, DON'T! It certainly wasn't worth the $1,600+ we paid for the two nights we stayed there. My GF did love the bidet in the bathroom, but no matter how clean our butts were, it wasn't worth the money!!

As a last minute roadtrip, my boyfriend and I drove up to the Catskills from NYC to see fall foliage and have a relaxing 1 night stay here. It is conveniently near a town and is closer to hikes in the Catskills mountains (~15min to 1 hour drive, depending on the hiking trail). The resort is very peaceful and has a meditative ambience. It has some short walking trails near the lake (both paved and gravel). All rooms are lakeside and east facing. We stayed in the suite which was huge for 2 and had a connecting private massage room, steam room/shower, and smart toilet/bidet. The hotel lobby, dining room, spa amenities, gym, activities room, and yoga rooms were large and cater to large adult groups. The pool was too cold for a dip but would be appropriate for lap swimming or cooling off after exercise. The whirlpool and hot tubs were out of service. The breakfast buffet was decent but the food tend to be cold and was bland. Price is worth it if you use the amenities and explore resort grounds.

This is my second time at Yo1. The first time was a couple of years ago and it was fabulous. However, it has gone down tremendously. Our original holiday plans were canceled so we immediately booked a weekend at Yo1 expecting to have the same experience as before. I do not see how they can even categorize the hotel as a 4 star! We paid extra for the suite which has a patio. The patio was soooooo dirty, it looks like it had not been swept in months. Bugs and cob webs everywhere. The off white carpet had so many stains, and the robes as well. We requested new robes and on top of the brown stains, there was hair on it from the previous person who wore it. Another time I requested towels and specifically asked the front desk to make sure they were left at the front door, but instead the maid took it upon herself to enter our room while we were undressed. The resort which was under booked, could not accommodate us with any services we wanted. We finally found 2 half hour treatments, however, the treatment person never even showed up for my partners treatment so he never received anything. The food was amazing last time, but now its not even worth dining. The cuisine now encompasses a lot of fake meat and not the traditional vegetarian dishes as before. The gentleman at the front desk (I believe his name was Michael) was very charming upon checking in but the other female rep at checkout had no customer service skills. She didn't even ask "how was your stay". I would think a 4 star, "wellness" resort should ask you this much! We will not be returning unfortunately, unless some upgrades are made. I do recommend the restaurants at the nearby Resorts Casino.

This was by far one of the best health resort Experiences I ever had. Firstly, I had an amazing Acupuncture session. With my session, it gave me access to the Spa. The front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Most of all, in the Spa area, staff was so attentive to my needs. She gave me a tour and showed me that there was a Sauna & steam bath…you have to see this to believe it and so much more. This place is a must for relaxation and pampering.

Best resort stay we have ever experienced. The housekeeping staff is efficient and pleasant. A request is made and promptly implemented. Rooms are nicely designed, spacious and clean. The whole resort is spotless and well maintained. Ample spaces inside and out to enjoy the property. The property has beautiful trails and views of the lake. The spa is very special and treatments are world class. Totally worth the money to stay here. Many thanks to the staff for making our stay so very memorable. Your efforts were totally appreciated and we think you are each wonderful.

I recently concluded my third visit to YO1 and can't wait to return. Every attention to detail is superb, the staff best of class with deep knowledge of nutrition, wellness, and attentive to all body-mind-spirit needs. The food and the facilities are superb and I always leave with the YO1 glow. Singularly outstanding experience. I highly recommend the retreat. Best decision you could ever make.

The best detox and retreat of my life. The special atmosphere allows you to relax and forget about everything. I went to YO1 to improve my health. Never in a million years did I think it would change my life in such a positive way. It is by far the best retreat I have ever been to. Not only did it improve my health but changed my whole outlook on life. I am feeling more positive and open to what life has to offer. Excellent bath and spa procedures.

YO1 Longevity and Health Resorts provided a unique wellness retreat. The peaceful surroundings and welcoming staff created a peaceful ambiance for me to unwind in. The state-of-the-art facilities at the resort were designed with the utmost care to ensure that my stay was comfortable and luxurious. One of the highlights of my stay was their Ayurveda and Naturopathy programs that addressed various health concerns, and the therapies are quite effective. The focus on healthy cuisine and their healthy juice bar added to the exceptional experience. At the end of my stay, I felt really rejuvenated from within. I left the resort with a renewed sense of energy and well-being. Without a doubt, I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone looking for a quick getaway!

Spirituality combined with luxury and comfort Amazing accommodation with breathtaking mountain and lake views. It is comparable to staying in nature. A genuine heaven. The cuisine was really fresh, nutritious, and gourmet at the same time. The yoga lessons and spas were incredible. My first visit to YO1 was certainly a wonderful experience! A wellness program that is perfect for recharging and unwinding. Importantly, the employees and hospitality were very kind and fast. would want to return in the future

My husband and I booked a stay at YO1 to enjoy a weekend away together. It is located at the Catskills. We've never been to a wellness resort before and we were both excited and curious to see what it would be like. We were both impressed by how nice the place was and the people were great. I was excited about the vegan food and the people, but my husband was more excited about the therapies. I personally enjoyed them all. I am looking forward to returning soon.

This is a perfect resort for few days or a weekend getaway to seek inner peace. Gorgeous building, and it only gets better and better as you walk in. Away from the city life, you get a chance to peek at breathtaking views of Bailey Lake and Catskills mountains. The nature trails by the lake are super relaxing. The resort had so much to offer on wellness such as Yoga, meditation sessions, Neti Pot, acupuncture, massage therapy and so on. Overall, I had a great experience at Yo1 resort, staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend. I will definitely stay there when I come back. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.
