Been coming here for years. Cannot say anything bad about the park besides they close at 10 oclock sometimes without warning. This was a great place to bring the family for an evening. However this year your prices have more than doubled and im sorry to say its not worth the money anymore. I can understand an increase in pricing because of inflation and all but over 50% price increase is way to much. 50 dollars for a wristband now. No thanks. Your not carowinds, 6 flags, or kings island. You have a very small amusement park. I hate to wish any bad luck here but i hope people starts sticking together and choose to walk on by these greedy businesses..

Great place for the family. I had my doubts, I'm not usually a carnival person but the kids loved it and the variety of rides was great. There is alot for kids 30 inches to do alone and with an adult and of course a lot for kids up from there. Not a ton of food but just enough. Price felt fair and the staff was all very friendly. There's also a 2nd day discount (see pic). Worth going if you have a few hours.

Iconic landmark must visit place while in Myrtle Beach! You will not be disappointed. There are rides for people of all ages.....elementary school aged and up. Rides, games, and typical carnival/fair type food. You can spend an entire evening there which we did. The swamp fox coaster is awesome! An old school wood coaster that is a blast. The ferris wheel gives GREAT views. The Hurricane is another iconic must ride. I used to go here every time I came to Myrtle, which was often, when in my teens, 20s. Loved it then, love it still. The place is a must for beach vacation fun memories. I took my young sons during this visit to get them hooked on this place and it was a success. Ticket and food prices are not too expensive either. One suggestion....get there when it first opens to be the crowds and hit as many rides as you can before lines get long. Then later in the evening or night you've done them and don't mind the lines to ride again. The lines go smooth but there is expected average wait times. The place overall is very well run and everything is very well maintained. Friendly staff who know what they're doing and how to handle the crowds. They run a tight ship. I tell everyone I know who goes to Myrtle for the 1st time to visit this place, and they come back very happy. I hope you all reading this review will too. Enjoy!

Our family enjoyed our visit to this vintage style amusement park. It has fun unique rides with short waits. The Swamp Fox Coaster is a true gem. We would definitely return.

This place was awesome. Now I'm not saying it didn't cost money but if a resident of South Carolina buys your wristbands they can get up to 4 for half price. There are some rides that cost money but they are fairly priced in my opinion. We all had an amazing time. Place was busy but lines were not that bad. I also want to emphasize how amazing all the employees there were. So polite and helpful. When the park closed at 11:30 the young man in charge of 1 of the rides stayed late to let everyone in line ride that had been waiting. My 63 year old mother in-law had fun. I'm 41 and my wife is 33. We had fun. Kids 8 and 5 had a blast. We also got an " old time " photo there and it turned out awesome.

A extremely fun attraction. Something a entire family can enjoy together. Very kid friendly and has a area especially for very small children. One where you can keep your eyes on your child all while they enjoy themselves. A must visit Amusement Park if you're ever in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

I had a great time here. We rode most of the rides and all of the staff was really friendly. I think the log flume was my favorite!

I've been bringing my two small children here for about 4 years now, but I think it's great for any ages. This review has a bunch of ways to save money for your family so read it all if you'd like. For the first time we took advantage of the military discount and saved us about 40% off or so off wristbands, that was a huge savings and appreciated. (Need Military ID in hand) It says no outside food or drink but everyone pretty much brings what they want in their backpacks. With little kids I packed a whole bunch of waters and snacks so I'm not paying the outrageous prices at the amusement park for them. I recommend parents always getting the wristbands because you will blow through the tickets and end up losing money having to keep rebuying them. You can also Park on this Street right nearby the Family Kingdom and spend less than half the price as well. The only other real way I think to save money is having dinner before you come to the park because again everything is so expensive there. We stopped by and had a quick bite of pizza before heading over, there are plenty of places to choose from right before the park. In the summertime the park doesn't open until 6:00 p.m. because of the heat I assume so the timing worked out perfect.

Great mini amusement park. A feature of the Myrtle Beach strip north of the boardwalk. There's no entry fee, you just buy credits for rides and pay cash for food and games. And a river or something runs through it!

Went with family and a little one, so many rides for kids, she had a blast. Place was crowded but we didn't even wait to get on the rides. Their funnel cakes are delicious. So many things to do. We had sooo much fun. We're definitely visiting again.

This place is fun. It reminds me of the fairgrounds carnival. It's very organized. I like the scan bracelet. No more lost tickets. Things are a bit pricey to buy, but that's to be expected. You know, $10+ funnel cake, $12 lemonade, etc. I wanted to get on the slingshot ride. Ut the line was too long. Get on that one early before the crowds come. The lines for rides went fairly quickly. I just wish they could give the heads up on parking, but here goes. Park at the meters, if you can. They are a butt-load cheaper than the parking lot. They meters use parking apps, so no need for change. The meter parking came up to $4.16 for about 3-4 hrs. The parking lot gave a flat fee for 12 hour parking. Overall, I can't wait to come back. I had my infant with me, so I couldn't get on hardly anything, but my teens had fun. Photos were taken on the ferris wheel. I hope this review helps.

Took my daughter (3 years old in a month) here our last night of vacation! The wristbands are $33, but was totally worth every penny seeing her the very first ride, and how happy/excited she was!! They had so many rides for her it was wonderful! Great place for smaller/younger kids! A few of the rides required an adult to ride with your child, but if they were, you rode most for free without having to give them tickets!! So don't go and buy more tickets for yourself unless you plan on riding bigger rides that the kids can't. Be aware that they offer no refunds or rainchecks..Watch out! They sell parking for $20, but if you drive 100 ft down from there it's only $10!! Also, the lines are horrible at 8pm so I suggest going before (or after) then.

We had a good time. If you're going to ride all the rides it's better to get the wristband for $32. If you have a family of 4 then it's cheaper to get the family 4 pack for $115. We had 4 kids that age ranged from 17, 13, 11, 7. They had rides for all ages. Some of the rides don't take the wristbands but for as many rides as they had it was worth the price. They had a good amount of cash games as well as food vendors. We were there from 830pm to 11pm. It was not as crowded so we were able to enjoy almost all of the rides. The price for food and beverages were a bit high. That's the only thing I would complain about. Other than that it was a good time, money well spent on the rides, and memories that were made. which is priceless.

Cute little shops and entertaining things to do like Airbrush tattoos but my personal favorite was the Simpsons area… I also enjoyed the walk and how convenient it is to get to and from both sides of the water.

Very cool place to take the kids. There are some pretty cool rides for the little ones (5-7 years old should be the right height).

Excellent destination for the family specially if you have kids only one thing I didn't expect a lot of big roaches outside in the street or wall 🤢😵‍💫😫 otherwise we enjoyed our vacation there and the beach was cool with some big waves 😎

We absolutely loved it and the all day half price pass for our grandson was for local residents but beyond worth it he loved every ride he qualified for in height 🥰💯

It's a good atmosphere for the family. The kids really enjoy it. Pay close attention to the workers. Some of them are a little sly. One intentionally overcharged on a ride which is equivalent to about 6 dollars by charging the card too many times. I also witnessed an employee thinking he had scored a free phone and seeing a woman chase him down to get it back. You're better off getting armbands economically and would make it impossible to be scammed by the people running the rides. Overall it's nice and convenient don't expect the employees to be friendly or honest though.

We visited Family Kingdom and my child had a great time! The rides were fun, although it didn't seem as if the staff always checked to make sure you were secure in your seat. On one ride, I had to push the overhead restraint further in on my child. Had I not, there was a high chance of him flying off the ride. I was a little upset about that part, especially since I was also on the ride and did not see the staff check the restraints. Other than that, the lines were not long, and it was a great time. I would recommend buying your wristband over the credits because most rides were 6 + credits and you would go through them really fast. The wristband at the amusement park was $50; it doesn't matter if it was a child.or an adult. If you buy the wristband online, you can save $10. What is nice is that they don't charge you for being there, unless you're riding. The staff were really nice and friendly. I gave it 4 stars because of the no cost difference between a child and an adult.

It was nice, only downside not enough rides for toddlers under 30 inches tall. Went ti celebrate my 1 yr old birthday and she couldn't ride along of things because of height restrictions or ride wasn't equipped for an adult.

This place was tons of fun for the entire family. There is no admission price to gain entry into the park. You have to purchase tickets to ride the attractions. I recommend buying bracelets which give you unlimited rides. Our 3 and 5 year old had a blast. They have many kiddie rides for kids under 54 inches. We went to Family Kingdom twice while we visited Myrtle Beach. Lots of fun rides and we can't wait to return!

It's always a great place to accommodate kids from the age of 2 to 21 in my group! Prices are reasonable and you can get as many or an arm band for unlimited rides. We look forward to spending time at the park every year!

Great location, it was in the walking of our hotel. In my opinion, it was quite expensive, the food was way overpriced, for the amount. The games were not too bad for the price. More than half of the workers definitely demonstrated nonverbally they preferred not to be there!!! The older workers definitely know about customer service (kudos)even if the interaction is less than 3 minutes. They older workers were very helpful and nice to speak. It's a way to speak and look at a customer! The setup of the amusement park was nice and easy to maneuver. Buy tickets online and redeem at the park its definitely cheaper. Free entry for all.

Wristbands were $48+$2 fee at the kiosk. Compared to individual tickets, the bands were the better value. BE MINDFUL OF THE KIOSK AND NO REFUNDS. Triple check your total at the kiosk before you purchase!!! We had an issue with the kiosk. Aside from the ticket kiosk snafu, I would have given 4 stars. We had a lot of fun. Pretty decent rides for older kids and adults.

  • 5/5 Kayla R. 10 months ago on Google
I loved the 80s music playing all over the park. There were not a ton of lines. I dont think my son had to wait at all. Its a little pricey but its Myrtle Beach, you expect that. Parking starts at 15 dollars for 2 hours. 20 dollars for 3 hours....and so on. There is parking at the meters if you get there early enough. Which may have been cheaper. Also...the only bad experience about it was that a woman with needle marks all over her arms came up wanted to get our tickets with her discount card for 5 dollars ahead. This really creeped me out. I said i had no cash and dont use venmo or cash app.
