    Went in to pickup a pair of diamond earrings ($300+) found a necklace also only $30, went to the jewelry counter and was waiting to be waited on, one of the associates looked at me and said you need to go to the checkout by the wall. She did not ask if I needed anything, very rude and acted like she could not be bothered. I did not buy anything from there and will not go back.

    Dealing with JCPenney for the purchase of a mattress set has been a nightmare. The set did not work for me so I tried to return it. I brought the set in February of 2022 it is now April of 2022 and i’am still trying to return it. I spoke to so many customer service people they all tell me do this or do that and I have done it all with no help from them.I have been forced to pay on this set because I do not want non payment to go on my credit report. Every time I call them it is just one thing after another. I’m at my Witt’s end with this company I don’t know what else to do.

    These stores have the best quality clothing selection and prices. In Central Michigan where I live they have closed all of their stores and I won't but online. People need to support these businesses or they will be gone forever

    Went to store because they had a sale and coupons for additional discounts. Didn't find anything right away, however, left the store and came back around an hour later to find a couple of items that I did like and bought for a good price.

    Employees at the jewelry counter are rude and not willing to help. I purchased an engagement ring from JCPenney. I purchased the warranty and was told I could bring my ring back at anytime to be cleaned. For the past eight months, every time I go to the Myrtle Beach location, I hear nothing except excuses from them. Once they ran out of cleaning solution. Once they only had one person on staff and couldn’t do it. Their newest excuse is their machine is broken and they can’t clean it. It might appear to be a valid excuse if the Spring Hill, FL location wasn’t using the same excuse. I travel back and forth between FL and SC for work. Both Spring Hill, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC now have the same excuse of a broken jewelry machine. Truth of the matter seems to be that they are more than willing to sell you jewelry, but if they aren’t making a sale, they have no interest in making good on their promises with their own products. One lady in particular at the Myrtle Beach location is awful. I have yet to get her name, but ignorant unless she’s talking with her friends at the counter.

    I ventured in to grab some earrings for my kids. They have a really great and large selection, hypoallergenic, gold. Silver, and decorative earrings. They have tons of clearance racks to look over, a photo center, hair salon and wonderful staff. It's slightly disorganized and they had their make up section blocked off so I wasn't able to look for my eye make up, however thebover all visit was quite nice.

    First off, went in for new sheets and the choices were limited. I finally found a set, and went to look for shorts. I wanted something like Nike shorts just something breathable and they had nothing. They did have plenty of short shorts for men, like who wears those? I went to check out, I was told my Lorrie not to work with one young lady, that Francina had to help me. She asked for my phone number for reward points, but the problem is my current number is still linked to the previous owner of the number. Neither of them, Lorrie or Francina knew how to do the job. They never offered any coupons or anything. Francina jumped over to another register to check out the person behind me instead of finishing my transaction. She was dressed unprofessional, she was the only one wearing jeans there and acted put out that she had to do her job. I told Lorrie I would call corporate and get the phone number fixed, she went to get it and took so long I left to go to different register and Lorrie ended up following me through the store. She didnt have the number for me, she had a list of numbers and asked if I had anything to write it down SMH, I went to register back in bedding and got Brenda. Brenda was very polite, competent, allowed me to use my coupon which saved me almost 40 bucks. She asked us what was wrong and she listened and we did a survey for her. She is the reason for the 3 star or it would have been a 1 star I took my items and left that register

    A employee named Sky i highly recommend, my ring was about 1500 for engagement and i walked out of the store only paying 510$ I would recommend Jcpenny over Kay Jewelers!!

    Beautiful well laid out store with plenty of selection as well as floor staff to assist...so why 4 ⭐? Checkout was so slow at the main entrance area. I thought that the three items I brought were going to go out of style before I could pay for them. Seems that the two open registers were taken up with people with problems...why not call for another person to open up or direct any of the several people waiting to the rear checkout. Other than that I am Ok with JCP.

    Customer service was excellent on the sales floor and at the register. I was able to find what I needed and check out fairly fast. I would have given this store 5 stars, but it didn't have a huge selection in its plus section for girls, which meant I still had to drive to another store location . I would definitely visit again!

    I used to shop at JCP regularly. Its a long drive now to get one so I was thrilled when I got a ride to go shopping. I found some great pants, only to discover when I got home the price was not the same as on line. They gave me a song and dance about how they dont price match clearance. They also informed me that their prices in every store can be different, even different prices for different colors. Ill be making a 2 hr trip to return. I wont be shopping there. Buyer beware, they dont care how poorly they treat you.

    Was seen yesterday to refresh my balayage after almost 1 year of growth, also got a cut, olaplex treatment, style, and eyebrow wax! Suzy was great! So easy to talk to, fast, thorough, and sweet! She talked me through what she does the whole time as I had only been to one stylist for my balayage before, which was super considerate of her! She made me feel so beautiful throughout the entire appointment. Definitely will be seeing her for my future hair needs. 💗

    JCPenney is the store to restore your faith in quality bargain shopping. The staff will let you shop till you drop, then meet you at the register. I love it.

    Went to the salon for a cut and full head of highlights, I have very long, dark hair and have had several hairdressers treat me like I was a jerk for having them do their job but not at this salon! The entire staff was very nice, and they went above and beyond to make sure my hair was something I was going to love, and I really do LOVE IT!!

    COASTAL GRAND JCPENNEY JEWELRY DEPT. False guarantees and representation of products and policies. They will TELL you that you are getting the rock bottom prices, but there can be substantial differences online. And even though the corporate office will TELL you that the individual store can match it,, COASTAL GRAND JEWELRY DEPT will not.. They TELL you at the jewelry counter that you have 60 days to bring an item back, but they will jump through hoops not to honor that guarantee, Even if you are trying to buy another ring that is an upgraded, AND even though online it says 90 days. They TELL you that a ring is a certain price one day, but the same lady will tell you the next time you go in, a different price. So disappointed that I bought there. No wonder their other store closed , if they keep this kind of unethical business practices up, hopefully they will shut down and do us vulnerable customers in Myrtle Beach a favor.

    Pretty good sized store. Does not cater to larger ladies, or curvy as the saleslady called it. Thier selection of clothes in larger sizes was very limited. Didn't pick up anything. And fitting rooms are still closed.

    JC Penney has been a great store for years. Whenever I'm looking for a close whether it be for work or an outing I can always find something here. It's funny because it's not a store that I think of off the top of my head however when I go there it's great. This location is clean and neat and all of the employees seem to be extremely helpful when you walk in. I would recommend shopping here especially if you need that Special item that you can't find any place else. You just may be surprised with what they have to offer.

    Literally the RUDEST employees. I have tried shopping here over the past 5 years. Every single person I've interacted with is rude and miserable to be there. The only nice and helpful employees are the wonderful people that work in the salon and optical.

    We had pictures done at the portrait studio and the photographer was excellent. I've been there many times, but the photographer there now is an asset to the company. Her friendly demeanor was topped only by the quality of the pictures she took.

    Bought a ring here that fell apart twice. The protection plan bought it out on the third attempt but only paid for the rings cost losing the protection plan cost. Horrible quality and customer service definitely not the best.

    Store must be going through some renovation. Took me forever to find what I was looking for (men's black pants and white dress shirts). Selections were meager. Don't think I will return.

    Was disappointed that the coupon I received for loyalty has so many restrictions that is basically unusable. Even the cashier told me and my daughter he's never seen it work.

    Went in there to find a black dress shirt for Halloween. Took me a while to find a shirt due to the lack of employees around. After 45 minutes I went to the only cashier up in the front of the store. That was a long process. I had to wait because one cashier was more concerned about what the other cashier was doing rather than excusing himself to help the cashier that she didn't need. I was then asked to sign up for the rewards program after hearing several employees stating the store was slated to close. So why would I be interested in a rewards program when I'd have to travel over 45 minutes to go to a different location to a company I barely shop at. I've been in a JCP a total of 3 times in over 10 years.

    This store was very nice e and kept up. However the department register was closed and directed me to another department. Got there that register was closed. I had to go all the way to the front to find an employee to ask for help with sizing a dress shirt. Then when they came they didn't have a tape and had to get someone else to help.

    Man they need map to navigate these stores. Was able to find some Big and Tall clothes on sale, which is very hard to do. Recommend for any man who is looking for Big and Tall sizes.

    Hit or miss. This time we did photos and it was the first time we didn't enjoy the photographer. She wasn't very friendly with my 20 month old. The ladies there kept waiting for her to sit still and couldn't adjust to her holding position for short tines. We only did one background bc they were just standing there missing all the good shots The store and shelves were messy. Lots of clearance. Kids shoes department was nearly empty.
