i got the Rëzo cut and transformation set today (06.02.2023) and i had an amazing experience! when i first walked in, i immediately felt welcomed and saw that this was a friendly environment. i completely forgot to wash and dry my hair which was my fault, but they totally understood and found a quick solution. it made me so relieved. today is my senior prom, and i was a little nervous if my haircut and styling didn’t come out the way i expected after having trouble with other hairstylists, but Silvana helped me through everything. she helped me with understanding the struggles i was having with my hair type, figuring out the right products for my hair, and she walked me through the whole process. i’ve never felt so confident in my hair before, and i’m so thankful to have had a hairdresser as great as Silvana! will definitely be coming back in the future <33

Utopia Salon is amazing. I have been going here for two years with Noemi and she is the best. I recently got a balayage and styling with Maria and she finished my hair exactly how I wanted it I am in love. Her service is immaculate, we took 5 hours on my hair and she would ask if I need water or anything and even got me food because I was there for a long time. Maria and Noemi are amazing people and stylist I will keep going to Utopia Salon because I trust them to care for my curly hair properly.

Do you have curly hair?!?! RUN, do not walk to Utopia! Don't waste another dollar or anymore of your time with another salon. I am THAT serious. I wish that I went to get my hair done there sooner than I finally did which was last week. I can't believe the difference in my curls! My stylist was Tina. I actually only went in for a consultation but she actually did have time to cut my hair so after we discussed what I wanted and we had a good convo about my hair I agreed to let her do my cut. Craziest hair cut (in a good way) I've ever gotten. When it came time to wash that's where I found out that I've basically been doing my hair 100% wrong my entire life. With Silvana, I relearned how to style my hair starting from the wash all the way through drying. I haven't washed my hair now in 5 days! True to Tina's word - my curls look just as good as they did in the salon! Trust me I am just as surprised as you are. I am going back in May to get my hair colored and I can't wait to see what Tina is going to do with my hair! I highly recommend Utopia - they obviously have the edge up with curls. If you've been thinking about giving them a try I can't say enough good things. Just go!! Price is similar to what I was paying at other salons for cut and color. What wasn't though - Tina's undivided attention while cutting my hair. She was not working on multiple clients at the same time. I was dealing with this elsewhere. Here, I was made to feel like a valued client - my time mattered. Will update w photos in May.

Silvana styled my hair and did a great job. I have fine, curly hair that tends to frizz. She gave me a lesson on styling, taking the time to explain every step of what she did. She really brought out the definition of my curls. They look great! Healthy, voluminous, and virtually frizz-free.

Took my 7 year old and it was a great experience left hair shiny and healthy I learned how to better manage her curly hair as well.

Esther L. is amazing! She is so patient and explained every step. This was my daughter's first Rezo cut. It came out stunning, she was so happy! You won't be disappointed with Esther’s work!

I received the Rezo Hair Transformation cut and style. Silvana not only did a great job cutting my hair, she educated me on the how and why during each step. She took her time and was very nice! I would recommend this salon and stylist to anyone who is looking for someone to cut and treat their curls.

I had a very pleasant experience with my first curly cut after experiencing some heat damage. Esther Lainez was my stylist and she definitely took her time making sure I liked the shape of my cut. She was also very informative with styling tips and products that would help repair a lot of the damage my hair received. Truly enjoyed my experience!

Nubia gave me an excellent cut and Jorge did my color perfectly!! They took their time and no one rushed me out. Very personable staff. I wish I could remember who styled my hair both times I went. They have chairs that recline and make curly styling easier. I highly recommend Utopia.

So I've considered whether to leave this review for a little while now but I've finally decided to go ahead with it. Last month, I went into Utopia Rëzo salon for the first time after hearing good things. I have to say I left feeling uglier than ever. My self esteem was cut down so low after my haircut. I was embarrassed to even go to class that evening. I had very full, long hair that I was proud of and simply wanted a trim and a nice cut that would compliment my face. I did mention that my length was important to me and it was finally at the length I've always wanted. She made me look like the queen of hearts from Alice and Wonderland afterwards. She claimed she hardly cut any off but it was the first thing my roommates noticed when I walked in the house. I haven't been able to find a way to style it to look the way I like and now I'm just stuck with it. It has to be the worst money I've ever spent. I gave two stars instead of one only because I like the products she recommended me and I can admit she definitely added definition to my hair but that's it.

I am completely devastated at the owner and stylist. Nubia and Julissa. I have been on my curly journey for over 6 years and I get a cut once I feel I need a change or volume. This time the usual stylist wasn’t available so they offered Julissa and I really needed this hair cut for a professional headshot I was taking the next day. The stylist and I went over the style I wanted and we went from there. We agreed on a medium length cut. I let her trim as they usually do with the rose method as she’s finishing I feel my hair short, no shape , no volume it was completely GONE she basically gave me a bull cut. I realized she kept running back and forth only to find out in the end she was an Apprentice… the owner of the salon comes to check it and okay’s the haircut but WAIT because she tells me to close my eyes for a “big reveal” Nubia knew it was wrong and fluffed my hair up and left. With all these mixed emotions I didn’t know what to feel. I had to cancel everything I had planned costing me more money and I called the salon and they mentioned that she’s “traveled all over the world” it didn’t matter. They failed to tell me Julissa was obviously still training and Nubia failed to take responsibility as a beauty salon owner. I used to go there because I felt comfortable and my stylist always did an amazing job but this time I learned they’ll just give the scissors to anyone. Disappointing and I’ll never go back again. Unprofessional on everyone’s end. $150 to get all of my volume and curls cut off after years of careful care. Never again. I thought so highly of Nubia too.

I got with mi daughter to Utopia Salon for the first time to cut and transformation style. Julissa Soto is an excellent professional. very friendly and dedicated. I loved how she treated my daughter's hair. 100% recommended
