There is nothing like having a breakfast omelette at a diner and this Italian omelette was so good. With sausage, peppers, onions and mozzarella cheese with a peice of buttered toast and the home fires were crispy and soft, so good. Service is always great here at the Westfield diner have been here before and will always come back..

The food is good and despite it being busy they brought out our order pretty quickly. Good customer service, our waitress was very attentive and made sure to check on us periodically.

We went to this restaurant to watch a football game. We were planning on staying for the whole game. We left early for the following reasons: The service was terrible. Our food was brought to our table and dropped off. We had no silverware. The waitress came back to our table about 30 minutes after the food was delivered. So we had it packed up to take home. The main reason we left was there was no social distancing between tables or customers. Customers were walking around the restaurant with no masks and were not told to wear masks. The wait staff did have masks on but we felt very uncomfortable in the restaurant and after 1/2 hour we left and took our hot-food-turned-cold-while-awaiting-silverware home. We will not be returning.

Pretty good food and very good service at our recent visit to Westfield Diner. We were immediately seated and our waitress was quick with getting our drinks and orders. She was excellent as she came by so many times asking if we needed more Coke. We ordered a pizza burger deluxe with disco fries. The food was pretty good and it was the first time I had a pizza burger that included mozzarella sticks on top. This diner was also nicely decorated for Easter.

Excellent location, good food, prices are within reason but unfortunately we do have to Work on Good Customer Service skills. The Owners have to be just a little more forthcoming and Welcoming and perhaps from that point be better at leading their staff towards that direction as dining there feels like you'll be but another number. It has a lot of potential but obviously satisfactory enough for the owners as it's been decades of same.

My family and I have been going weekly to Westfield Diner for a couple of months now. We found it as we drove by and decided to give it a try. After trying over a dozen diners for years, Westfield Diner is indeed the best so far. The food is fresh and delicious, the servers are so nice and always quick to help if you need anything else, and even those who help you at the front, are always quick to assist you when arriving or living. Westfield Diner also took all proper measurements to maintain a lower amount of people inside as required by the state for health reasons. Parking can be a bit of a problem especially if you are used to diners with many parking spaces. But believe me, parking off the street and walking a bit to enjoy their food is well worth it! We were at the Westfield hockey rink and someone suggested the dinner. I checked the website to see if my son would like the menu. Saw the 4.95 kids chocolate silver dollar pancakes, done. My son liked the pancakes. Got the bill, 7.95. No problem I thought, will show them their web site. Hostess would not honor it, asked for someone else, they would not honor it. a third person, they would not honor it. Really, that is why we came. No explanation for why the web site could be wrong. I cannot recall a biz not honoring a price legitimately posted on their web site.

We stopped in later on a Saturday night. My husband had leg of lamb and he said it was pretty good for a diner. I just had pancakes and they were good. The service was excellent. I wish I got our servers name because he was really good. The lobster bisque was also good

Clean, friendly and well organized Greek-style family diner. Has a parking lot (a rarity for a Westfield food spot), too. Good wheelchair ramp, so fully accessible. I've been on a quest to find the best Belgian Waffle special at Jersey Diners - and this one actually has the waffle, tea/coffee, juice combo as a special! Its the #5 and was okay, not great (a bit bland, small in size and the bacon portion was medium). I'm picky - the syrup was old and I only got there pats of butter (you need at least four - one for each quarter of the waffle). Still a thumbs up for this Diner from me.

There's indoor and outdoor dining available as well as take out. Seating inside is spaced for social distancing and hand sanitizer is readily available at the front door. There is one way traffic for entrance and exit. Food is fine. I just happened to be in the area so I decided to stop for a late breakfast. I ordered an omelet that was just alright and the accompanying hash browns were subpar at best. The ratio of omelet to hash browns was about 2:1, though I prefer 1:1 ratio. The servers are averagely hospitable and polite but nothing that'll make you want to tip more than usual. Probably wouldn't come back as I have diners closer to my home that are tastier.

My father and I ventured out to the Westfield diner this evening for our first meal at a restaurant since the pandemic started. They totally got this right with a huge outdoor tent, tables properly distanced ten feet apart, sanitized silverware in a bag and a thruway paper menue/placemat. We felt totally safe, comofrtable and enjoyed the beautiful outdoor breeze. When this pandemic nightmare is someday over, I would suggest they keep this tent as it was terrific. Jeff

Yum yum food is great! Biggest shrimps since I’ve been in Aruba! Tranquil atmosphere with dockside boaters. Always a pleasure visiting this place.

Terrible experience. If you are going there to watch sports based that it is a sports bar, don’t go. Manager and owner could care less about the customer. Manager randomly turned the sound off to the game in the first half to put “dinner” music when the whole restaurant was there to see and “hear” the game. After multiple requests to turn the sound back on, the manager continued to send the poor bartenders over to claim the “owner” requested to put the random music on to get people to leave. Bartenders were great and feel sorry for them that they have an owner and manager that could care less about the patrons. Was a regular customer but wont be back again.

Service was great. Food server answered all my annoying questions. I got the crabby burger. It was out of this world. Burger was juicy, thick and cooked to my liking. Crab meat on top was melt in the mouth. Yum!

Beacon 70 exudes luxury and shore dining at its finest. Casual, comfortable seating paired with a wonderful array of succulent dinner options really has me in shock! I mean Buffalo wings are such a simple option but theirs was prepared nicely and tasted delicious - their pork bun tacos are still something that I dream about (*get two orders ) the while table will thank u later. Their liquor menu is quite intimidating as well. Which says alot about the restaurant too, a seemingly less than noteworthy profile from the highway leads to something way way better than I expected! It's a real destination in the area and a must-go if hapoen to be dining in the area or near the shore. I left feeling amazing and I highly recommend it!!

Lots of tasty things to eat here like crab cocktail and grouper tacos. Little on the pricey side but definitely high quality ingredients and lots of fresh and fun flavors coming out of the kitchen. Guacamole was a little watery but tasted good, grilled chicken was good, fries were a little salty but crispy and good. Fish tacos where the best I ever had for sure! Waitress was excellent and very kind!

The hubby and I went to watch a few games, have some drinks, and eat a little something. We decided on pizza and wings. We enjoyed the pizza. The wings were cooked perfectly. However, the sauces and seasonings weren’t so good. I would go back and try something else.

Ordered the taco burger. Got a raw patty on a bun with literally one little chunk of churizo on it $16... the fact that this left the kitchen is an absolute embarrassment.

Really good strong $3 Mimosas or Bellini's on Sunday, Idk if they have it the rest of the days. The food was good too and service was excellent, here is the crab cocktail (not worth it) and Japanese steamed buns (worth it)

I order from the Westfield Diner 2-3 times per month. To be fair, almost everything is great (aside from their regular fries)… but on Sunday I ordered a cheesesteak with no onions and was really disappointed. No meat at all. It was pretty pathetic. Half melted slices of cheese. Not even close to filling or close to their usual portions.

My favorite diner in the Westfield area (among the 4). The place is clean, spacious. Wait staff is attentive. Food is well prepared, traditional diner cuisine at very reasonable prices. I just wish there were open a bit earlier (e.g. 7am). Plenty of off-street parking.

I hate to do this but our experiences over the last 6 months have been increasingly worse. Tonight was the last straw. The diner has always been a c+/b- at best for service and cleanliness. We went in and sat at counter tonight. The AC was not on so the place was less than comfortable. We ordered breakfast and a burger. That’s when the flies began to swarm, landing in the counter and at times the food. On top of that prices went up like crazy. We are big fans of home town diners but at some point when burgers are 15+ bucks it’s not unreasonable to expect cleanliness and comfort.

Had a shrimp and asparagus omelette. Shrimp in every bite! Food was great and served VERY quickly. Excellent service with staff checking several times if I needed anything. Parking available which around here is a real plus.

Back in town after many years in Florida. So good to visit the diner after so many years and have a delicious lunch. Took home some of their absolutely delicious desserts for our friends

The Westfield Diner has always been a gem within Union County. I’ve gone here for after parties, celebrations, and just to have a nice meal with friends and family. Immediately after entering you are greeted by very friendly staff who bring you to a table/booth promptly. Soon after my friends and I all figured out what we wanted to get, we all got chocolate chip pancakes along with eggs, bacon and ham… all for 15 bucks! We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering and we were all super pleased because all of us were starving. Everything is very fast but it’s not overwhelming, it feels very efficient and it works very well. Again, the staff is incredibly friendly and kind so they’ve always made the experience enjoyable.

I just went on 5/20 for brunch. I understand a diners a diner but very disappointed. The people working minus the bus staff, forget the customers are actually people. extremely rude male waiter. I never even think of not giving a tip but I definitely considered it today. He didn’t say two words to us, basically slammed waters and our food on the table. Didn’t even look our way, seemed extremely busy with little patience , and there was 2 of us with a basic order. I get it’s a Saturday but then don’t expect returning customers. I wanted to tell the manager at checkout, but they took our money and didn’t even look up. I want the owner to know what type of employees they have working for them . I’ll take my business elsewhere even for a diner.

Unfortunately I did not have the best food experience at this diner. I ordered the Greek panini and it tasted so strange to me. Also the multi grain does nothing in terms of taste and texture and the panini wasn't even pressed so the bread was soggy. I also got calamari and it was just.... boring and sad. I did get this food to go so maybe that did something? Either way I will not be returning.

Love the...atmosphere, service (friendly) prices (great value for what you get) quality of food (delicious!) Got the rueben, 🍟 w/ ketchup. Bread is toasted to perfection. I'd go as far as to call it "buttered rye-toast". Sauerkraut, one thousand island dressing (they didn’t skimp on only bringing 999 islands either). Go here!!

Had a really great experience here. Showed up with a party of 14 and they immediately accommodated us by seating us in the smaller dining area in the back so we could sit together. The server was polite, prompt and efficient. Our group ordered things all over the food spectrum from the sandwiches, to breakfast food to a souvlaki platter and everything was really good quality. I had the souvlaki and was surprised the quality of the meat was really good especially for how fast it came out. With diners there's always a concern that with variety comes mediocre quality, but the quality here was great across all their dishes.

Hands down the best diner in the area! The food is always in point and their cream of turkey soup is the best around. This goes for their desserts as well. Their cheesecakes are incredible. Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the Westfield Diner!

Went 2 weeks ago with my family. It used to be good and the food was not that great. The hosts were rude and were rushing us in and out. The water they served had a funny smell of fish. Another place I won’t be going to anymore.
