Mick's burgers is one of the best spots in Portsmouth for me. It has a magnificent view of the city and pretty huge and tasty monster burgers! They also serve all-day breakfast and is open 24 hours a day (but I haven't tried their breakfast menu yet). I suggest that you visit the place few minutes before the sunset and start lining at the queue because it gets very long (we spent around 20mins just to order!). But it was rewarding at the end. There are chairs where you can sit but you could always bring your picnic mat and set it up on the grass while enjoying the view.

Love this view point its always very busy because the food is awesome. Seriously if u haven't sat up there in the sun or at night for cheesy chips or a burger ur missing out xx

If you live near or around Micks Burgers and you don't know it,, where have you been all your life. Micks Burgers I reckon are the best around the area, you get alot for your money and his cheesy chips are to due for, also you have a lovely view over Portsmouth and the Solent, while you eat your food, pet friendly too. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed,, I promise. The photo shows my son attempting Micks Monster Burger,, lol.

I always come here, primarily for the stunning view but also for the good burger that Mick serve. I enjoy the mushroom burger mainly. But all other types are great choices. I love feeding the birds every now and then. You can see the entirety of Portsmouth from here. If its sunset time, clear sky, then its the perfect time.

Micks burgers, been up Portsdown hill as long as I can remember lol!! Right little set up now. Great views over Portsmouth, seems to be busy at all times, not that you have to wait long. Ample parking of course. Food is fair to good, but in my opinion a little ripe on the price front. But more filling than a McDonald's..

This place was recommended to us by locals. We were surprised to find a truck and not a restaurant. This leaves a natural lovely view over Portsmouth. The burgers are huge, the size of our face. We got a side of fries each, way too much. 1 is enough for 2. Will definetly go again.

Found this just by chance today. Its really poplar and offers a vast menu of choice. My partner had the gut buster - 2 x 1/2 pounders, bacon, egg, cheese, mushrooms and sausage in it, he manfully ate it all! Plus we ordered the cheesy chips. They were very nice indeed. Wish I'd ordered the small cheese burger, the 1/2 pounder was just too big! Good coffee and they even do home made bread pudding. The views are spectacular across the solent.

Very romantic spot with an amazing view over Portsmouth. And the staff is so so amazingly friendly. Always a smile on the lips. Food is good as well. I should try the burgers next time. I only had a hot dog.

Very reasonably priced street food set in car park with outstanding views to the south. Food prepared quickly and staff are efficient and friendly and the selection is enough to satisfy the smallest to the largest of appetites. A great place in a great setting.

Always as good as I remember as a teenager on way back from pub. Best tasting, filling burgers around. Try the 1 lb jawbreaker, many to choose from from 1/2 to 1 pound with various additional toppings. Enjoy the view over Portsmouth and solent whilst you munch.

Fantastic service, friendly, polite and efficient staff. Big menu, good prices. Monster burger was a real monster. Wasn't aware that you can end up with too much meat in your burger but that's how I felt 😅 Big portion of cheesy chips for great price. Lovely view Highly recommend visiting

Brilliant. Loved it. I think the placement is just perfect overlooking Portsmouth. I fell in love with the place altogether. The small burger was massive, never mind the medium and large. The small chips were also large portions. The staff were lovely. There was a long queue because the van is well known. Prices were normal for this type of service. Definitely on my next 5 hour drive from Blackpool I will be visiting this place.

Decent spot for a pit stop however expected more.. The burger went down nice along with the views of Portsmouth.. Customer service could've been better.. 3* based on overall experience

Great place for bikers, but like many other biker hang outs the veggie food is very limited. Egg bap and chips. That's it! Opportunity lost. Nice team work behind the counter. Could do with a public loo up there for the number of customers served every day. I keep going back for the views and the biker vibe, even when there's a howling storm in January :)

Best burgers & chips in Portsmouth, always consistently perfect, generous with sauces too and cannot beat the view on a clear day.

The usual great view, good portion sizes, and with the size of the queue, I still didn't have to wait long for my order. Some may find the burgers quite large, so go hungry!

Open 24 hrs and a great place for a stop off and bite to eat and a drink. Popular with bikers for a rideout point and meetup, gets busy with cars as well. We had a great ride there on our bikes and the views over Portsmouth are lovely. The food is good and the value is pretty good as well.. The Monster burger is 1lb of burger!!! Didn't get to try that, wasn't hungry enough. 😋

Always a great place to stop! Great view in the summer the wait is long however it's well worth the wait! The food is amazing. The staff are always friendly and make time to chat with service users I take there for a treat when I'm at work. Highly recommend a visit if you haven't already.

Great view, amazing spot to eat. It's a shame the food falls short of what I consider to be a good burger, it's always been underwhelming if I'm honest. Chips are very nice. It's also great value for money if buy a meal. Staff are friendly and clearly work hard. I prefer my local kebab house burgers. They know how to make a burger.

Great place for Sunday lunch with a difference. Usually at least one space to park. Sometimes have to go round again to get a front row spot. All food cooked to order, not lined up getting cold. The view is spectacular and if your car has a heater, not to windy or cold.
