I wish i could give a negative rating. This was the first time I purchased something from here and it was a horrible experience. The local tailors near our house are way better than those working over there. At the time of purchase they told me that it will be altered to your size even though the size I tried was very loose and the best part they only noted half of my instructions about the fitting and when went to collect it the fitting was so pathetic that it didn't even look like the outfit that I actually purchased and after complaining they told me to wait for an hour for further alterations and after waiting for 1.5 hours the fitting was still not okay so they again took 25min after which I took it back as it is and they didn't even pack it properly. And the cherry on the cake is that the owner is very rude. I haven't seen a shop owner that rude instead of apologising for all this he told is that the shop is 25 years old and this happens and we know how to handle our customers

Worst experience I had ever .. I went to buy dress from the outlet for my engagement..When I tried the dress color of the dress was different..and when we went to collect the dress .. color of the dress was totally different..rather to accept there mistake they were trying to convince us that the color of the dress were same. Uploading pictures of the dress which were captured with same phone .

This place is the best designer store for women dresses traditional and others in whole of North Delhi. The variety they offer is mind-boggling. Owners understand customer's concerns and ensure timely delivery.

Sales persons (men) just stare, too many gather together when you come out of the fitting room and while you are busy discussing the outfit with your family these sales person will try to convince you about how nice you look even if it doesn't. First of all they shouldn't interfere in a conversation which is between the customer and family. Secondly stop staring, it makes women feel uncomfortable. Third this masterji, rude and arrogant. Fourth the owner also rude - especially when he knows i will walk in and most probably buy 2/3 outfits in 1 go. Fifth they don't like you going to any other shakuntlam. To be honest, I don't know what the issue between you and other shakuntlams is and to be Frank, I dont think your customers could care. We just want to buy clothes. Sixth - pls start video call appointments again. On a positive note the clothes are wonderful, but the above points spoil the shopping experience as a whole.

An overstaffed & extremely over priced shop with rude management. We went there to buy Shararas last Sunday. At the time of trials - the sales staff told us that all alterations would be done as per size and all issues pointed out by us will be addressed. To our surprise when we were getting in to details just prior to the billing - an arrogant promoter came in to picture and basically said NO to everything which the staff had said yes to. He was extremely condescending, rude and brash - he basically implied "you buy this in on my terms or else you are welcome to walk out". Forget about hospitality - this fellow was downright hostile and lacked complete Politeness ! As if this wasn't bad enough, we were utterly shocked to see a loud and unpleasant argument break out between a lady who was trying our her tailored suit and the tailor at this store ! The tailor had no dollop of regret or apology for the wreck of a suit he had stitched for the poor lady who had an event to attend the very next day. An utter waste of our time. We count our blessings that all this unfolded just before billing. Stay away if you value your self respect and rights as a consumer. Many other stores in the same lane have similar if not better collection with actual well meaning Store Owners who are polite and humble !

No at all size inclusive and not cooperative staff at all Highly disappointed by the treatment Even though I had a time of 2 months they still did not wanted to alter or for that matter let me try a article just because it won’t “fit” Opening a huge shop and still this in this generation? They should be cancelled

Not a very great experience with Shakuntalam. My wife purchased a dress from here. The delivery promise was given to us for 4 days after the date of purchase in the evening. 1. On day 4 morning we get a call from shakuntalam that the dress wasnt ready and would be ready by day 5 (day 5 was the day when the dress was supposed to be worn) 2. On persuasion they agreed to give the dress on day 4 evening at 7 pm. When we reached to collect the dress wasnt ready. They hadnt even touched it till then and still they were trying to persuade us that the dress is done. A simple tuing such as length which was measured as 44 was still 48 when measured. 3. The best part was they were still trying to persuade us that it will look fine and also we should just take it without trying it on. Summary: pls avoid shakuntalam. Its over priced and they dont deliver on any promises once the piece is sold. At the time of selling they do 1000s of promises and then they take u for a ride. Pls b careful. THEY ARE ONLY CONCERNED WITH SELLING NOT SERVICING. Update post reply from Shakuntalam: This transaction was done at your Rajouri Garden outlet on 21-March-23 and the collection was supposed to be done on 24-March-23. First of all we got a call from your outlet on 24th morning that the item wont be ready by the evening, and if we could collect on 25th while it was clearly told to your staff that the dress is supposed to be worn on 25th. After a lot of persuasion your team agreed to give the dress on 24th 7 PM. When we reached to collect, the item wasnt ready, no alteration was done as per the measurements that were given. POst this the staff were persuading us that the installation was done. When we measured, it was found that it wasnt, and the staff and tailor started to apologize and took another 1 hour to fix it. Thats why I said, once they sell the piece, they are not concerned about service at all. Dear Shakuntalam team, please accept your mistake here as well, as it was accepted by your staff at the store and improve your services.
