Great and awesome experience at Redfort by the historic museum called museum on 1857 India's First war. Here there are all the weapons and tools , clothes, maps, swords, methods and so on. Everyone need to visit this to know the ancient tools used for the world war to protect the country. These mainly let people knew how hard it was during those times to handle the wars especially India.

If you are going there with high expectations then i will ask you to avoid it as it doesnt have much to see. You will get the information regarding pre-independence period but very less artifacts related to that period.

The Swatantra Sangram Sangrahalaya is a popular museum in Delhi which displays India’s history from Colonial rule onwards. The museum also emphasises India’s first war for Independence in 1857. The museum is owned and maintained by the Archeological Survey of India and has on display paintings, photographs and maps of India during various periods of history. Other than this the museum is also home to letters and papers of various political leaders. It is two floor building. First floor floor is made up of wood

Not worth the visit, just a few things of that era for display. Do book your tickets for museum through online booking portal of ASI as the sale of museum tickets on red fort counter is upto 4 PM. Also on online portal, tickets are at discounted prices.
