Went to the Korean War Armistice on Aug 6. Charlie Brown speech was just the best ever. Love that man. So much history.

I love this place. Brings back a lot of memories. Worth your time to visit. Just two pictures. You need to come see it all for yourself

This was a great museum to visit. The volunteers are very knowledgeable. And they give personal tours. Plus they said everything in the museum was kid touch approved. They want kids to play with the displays. This Air Force Base that the museum is based on played a huge role in World War II and the Vietnam war and in Texas. It's a must see museum.

An absolute pleasure visiting the museum. I was born there and wanted to find some information for my father who was stationed there. ABSOLUTELY WORTH THE VISIT. FILLED WITH MILITARY HISTORY FROM ALL BRANCHES OF OUR MILITARY. The people who work there do so as a labor of love for our country. I salute them.

I was trying to tell Eric Walton Thank you and accidentally push the flags button of the women's uniforms and I think the picture is fantastic. It was an accident. All of the pictures of the AirBase are beautiful I lived on Perrion Airforce Base with my family before my father got station over sea's. To this very day I can recall alot of how the base looked. Not giving year as it's risky for me. Eric Walton you do the Musium justice. Is the museum the old Church? I saw many a jet go down on and off of the base Thank you Eric. Sorry about the flag.I left a bigger post I remembered the school the pack away store it was little. The Commsary was bigger the movie theater. The Children's park party lines airrade sirens. The thunder and lighting storms the floors were not grounded

I would term this a good military memorabilia museum of local military veterans and of general military history. Has many detailed displays spanning 100+ years of history.

Learned a lot while visiting here. We went for my daughter who is 8 and wants to be in the Air Force and they explained a lot to her about what it was like back then to now. History is amazing and I think good to know. They don't necessarily charge, but you should leave something for their time and service, they deserve it and more! Thank you all very much! Thank you for your service!

This museum is absolutely fantastic! The guides are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The museum itself is clean, well organized, and beautiful! Nice little gift shop, too. I will definitely be going back because there is so much to see and learn about!!

It was an afternoon with five guys (non military) and three preschoolers looking for a place to hang out. When I suggested a "gun show," they were all in. We stepped through the door about 4:00 (closing time 4:30). We were greeted and invited to stay as long as we would like. WOW 👌 Better than a gun show. Kids liked the airplanes, guys liked the guns, and gramps (me) liked the history. What a way to spend our day. Now... back to a baby shower for desert.

Great museum with very friendly and helpful docents working to ensure your visit is top notch! We were the first to use their new tablet information units spread throughout the facility and they were extremely helpful and very user friendly. Simply tap a button and a video recording comes to life (the staff members made each recording) explaining things that are on display nearby. Many of these tablets were spread throughout the displays, making our visit even more informative. There are far too many displays to take in during a single visit so we will need to come back. Excellent work from everyone, and they even have a Tweet (T-37) aircraft on the floor for all to see! Many, many items are there to be touched making it very kid friendly as well. Outstanding full size displays of life at the base when it was first established. If you are in the area this is a MUST SEE location for military/history buffs! Kudos to the staff, thank you!

The staff do an incredible job bringing the history of this museum to life! Such a rich history in Sherman I never realized before. Lots of local stories from around the world. Or maybe global stories from Sherman? However you look at it. I am looking forward to finding growing ways to help support this museum to keep these stories alive.

Had a few interesting items that I could see with the lights being off. It's a small place so don't make a special trip to see it,but rather a side trip while going to Sherman.

Absolutely worth the visit, the volunteers were such a pleasure and provided a very informative tour of the museum, the articles on display, and the history of Perrin Airforce Base. Set aside some time to take it all in, items range from pre-WWI to Dessert Storm. Make sure to catch a tour with one of the "A" Team members on Fridays! *This museum is available at no cost to you and 100% run on it's volunteers... Please make sure to leave a cash donation so they can continue to provide such an amazing experience!

We had a wonderful time. We had a fantastic tour guide. My two granddaughters learned some things about some Presidents, some Air Force airplanes and were thrilled when they gave them a small American flag and stickers to take home. It was time well spent. Thank you guys at Perrin Museum. It's worth taking the tour.
