This place has always been awesome! The food is great and the atmosphere is fun and peaceful. I ordered the chicken tenders which tasted great and was hot and flavored well! They also gave me this chicken mustard sauce that was amazing! My family ordered the fried fish and the fried Chicken which of course was great and crispy, hot and flavorful. Each person orders a chicken item or catfish which is then served in the middle of the table for everyone to share. Although the chicken and fish is limited, the sides are unlimited. The sides include green beans, creamed corn, the best biscuits I've ever tasted, salad and mashed potatoes. The only thing better than the already great food, is the staff. Each time I come here, the host and the server are absolutely incredible. They are attentive, they are smiling, they are fun to have around, and they are very kind. I cannot stress enough the quality these employees are. These servers need at a minimum, triple pay and a minimum of a months EXTRA vacation. Our server, Jocelyn, Deserves X100 salary.

Great spot for a family gatherings. Community style food service. Everything g is tasty and filling.. always a wait but worth it. Salad is delicious and so are the biscuits! Moderately priced with excellent service.

Excellent service at reasonable prices. The food was hot and delicious. We loved the all you can eat vegetables and the choices that they have, as well as the desserts. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic which made for a very enjoyable overall experience.

I’ve visited this location at least a dozen times. The food is always great and the service is nothing short of top notch! They are always well staffed and each staff member is knowledgeable and friendly. If you’ve never been to a Babe’s before, everything is served “family” style. All the sides are included and they are unlimited. The sides will come in bowls and each person at the table takes their serving from the main portions. The sides are: salad with a sweet vinaigrette dressing, biscuits (sorghum and honey are on the table for the biscuits), corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. For the main/protein you get a choice of fried chicken, smoked chicken, chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, or fried catfish (catfish is a bit more expensive). If you order fried or smoked chicken you get a half of a chicken: breast, wing, leg and thigh. If multiple people at your table order the same thing, it will all come out on one big plate, family style remember? The sides are all very tasteful. If the chicken wasn’t so good, I could make a meal out of the sides alone. The chicken is always flavorful, tender and juicy. Any time we have people from out of town come in for work, this is definitely our go to place.

YUMMMM … made a trip to Dallas and a friend recommended Babe’s. The restaurant looks a little plain from the outside, but when you get in it’s a VERY well presented establishment. We REALLY enjoyed our time here, the manager and our server were very polite and attentive. We chose chicken strips and hickory smoked chicken, the food was delicious. Definitely a top choice of places to go. Also surprisingly inexpensive.

I wasn't sure what to expect coming here after a friend recommended it. I was more than pleasantly surprised! The restaurant had a nice, big room that managed to feel quite cozy and homey as we ate. They have a limited, verbal menu with 5 different options, but all you can eat sides. When our order came it was overflowing with yummy goodness. Our plates of chicken were heaping, and the country sides were so delicious I think I ate more of them than the chicken! The country theme was well done through the restaurant with gentle music playing while we ate. Before we left we got serenaded by Hannah, who had a gorgeous voice and went table to table singing throughout the restaurant. I will DEFINITELY be dining here again, and will recommend to everyone I know!

Phenomenal experience! Family sized dishes. Sharing is caring! I had the catfish, the other people in my party had grilled chicken, fried chicken, chicken tenders and pork fried chicken. I had a taste of everything and it all was cooked perfectly! You start with salad, then multiple sides. Mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits and sweet cream of corn. The chicken gravy was great too! You will not be disappointed! Put Babe's on your list for food while in Carrollton, TX.

Ok, I had heard about Babes and how great it is but it is honestly a place you NEED TO EXPERIENCE to fully understand how awesome it is! Chicken fried steaks, unlimited sides, all the yummy things even my toddler loved it. That cream corn is magic! Absolutely loved visiting and when I get the craving for a good, quality chicken fried steak I will be back!

Babe’s Chicken Dinner House in old downtown Carrollton, Texas is the very best home style cooking that can find besides eating at your mom’s table. The food is outstanding. The employees are well trained. Everyone is courteous. And did I mention that the food is the very Best. And the price is very reasonable. Also the sides are endless. They will keep on bringing them if can finish them. So come with a big appetite and you will leave full. We will return to this restaurant in the future. Thank you so much.

This restaurant and its environment is fantastic! The fake chickens in the rafters always cracks me up and my kids love looking for them. The chicken tastes delicious and the unlimited sides are delightful. I love dipping the chicken tenders in their home style white country gravy. Their honey-mustard is also delicious. The service here is always good and they always keep your drinks filled. 10/10 would recommend this restaurant and location. We lived in Texas for almost 4-years and we were glad to visit here on a business trip together! Thanks!

If your looking for good food and fun looking atmosphere? Well look no further then Babe's Chicken dinner house. You pick your protein and the sides all come out family style (Green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, saw mill gravy) biscuits & salad come out with the drinks. They have desserts also but didn't get it this time as we were full.. If you have leftover food, they don't have to-go box's. They have to-go bags to place your food in. Cost per protein about $17.00 each but comes with all you can eat sides. We ordered the chicken fried steak and chicken tenders. We also paid for our drinks, total before tip $44.00. All in All, great place to eat and nice area to walk around.

Babe’s is really good. The chicken is full of flavor and the sides are top notch. I loved the family style serving. The customer service is really good. I love the fun and whimsical atmosphere. This is a great family restaurant.

Alright…I have to give credit when it’s due. Chicken Fried Steak was so tender I was still able to cut through it easily with plastic silverware without it going through the take out box. The steak was still warm when it got back to the office, super impressed. Each side was fantastic! The house dressing for the salad was very tasty. Everything was mouth-watering good and I’m sure it tastes even better at the location (my office catered it in for us). Definitely will order from here again! Portions are huge though…with this meal I was only able to finish half..so now I have dinner as well lol. I might order the kids meal next time.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here - get the chicken tenders! The fried chicken was good too (bone in) but also a little salty for my liking. The sides (corn, beans, mashed potatoes, salad, biscuits, gravy and sauces) were unlimited. The price is right here too - approx. $20/person for so much food! Baggies provided to take home leftover chicken.

Chicken is super tender inside and crispy outside. Biscuits and butter corn taste really good. All sides are fixed but most of them taste yummy. Parking lot gets filled up quite quickly.

The BEST fried chicken I think I've ever eaten. Everyone in our party was from out-of-town, so never been here before. We looked up the best fried chicken and the area and it did not disappoint. There was so much food. We tried everything but the chicken fried steak. The jalapeno honey mustard was really good, it had a nice kick to it and good flavor. All of the sides were amazing. While the building was a bit warm, it was 100+ outside the day of our visit, the atmosphere was fun.

I have been to several locations of Babe's Chicken restaurant. I always had a good experience. This location we went to is in Carrollton, TX. I talked to the restaurant manager Lucas, he told me how the kitchen operates. It's amazing... Like certain employee just bakes biscuits all the time, cooks frying chicken.. everything is freshly cooked. Food is awesome at a reasonable price, very nice atmosphere and service is excellent!!! I recommend this place 😉

The food was good, just like the Roanoke location. The service was good once our server got to our area. The host needs to learn not to seat so many into one servers section at one time and spread the people being seated out more, causing the server to become instantly overwhelmed. As for the manager and general manager, worthless, just stand around looking for things the workers are doing wrong. May be the managers need to learn how to manage, like the managers in Roanoke, and actually help out if the servers are overloaded and getting behind. It also wouldn't hurt for the manager to refill some drinks if needed instead of checking out how much of a tip is left on tables.

Visiting from El Paso, TX. Everything was amazing! From the chicken to the customer service. Every single side they give you is so good, chicken is delicious, and atmosphere makes you feel at home. The waitress was so nice and the manager was so friendly and talked to us for quite a while. Definitely recommend this place!

Places like this just don’t exist anymore. You are not presented a menu as you only have a few options to choose from and it’s all chicken of course. What makes it unique is that it is all served family style and they will continually refill your sides upon your request. But what you really come for is the chicken. I had the chicken fried steak and it was as big as the plate! Flavor was good and it was fork tender to cut through. The gravy was silky smooth with no lumps whatsoever. The service was good and we did not want for anything as they came by numerous times to check on us. We also were visited by the manager who checked on us as well. If you want a laid back experience with really good food this is the place to take the family. The prices are very reasonable as well.

This location has always served quality, hot food at fair prices. I would not recommend for lite eaters as the meals provide a lot of food unless you like left overs. I tend to favor the fried chicken but the chicken fried steak and smoked chicken are yummy as well.

Babe's is the place to go to for great fried chicken. They have plenty of seating here and this Babe's is probably the most unique one around. Fun outdoor waiting area, lots of personality, lights, and space to wait for your table. The service is always excellent, they have this down to a science. Do not expect beer/wine/cocktails. Its a soda/tea/water establishment. If I want fried chicken, we go to Babes. This location is our favorite.

The first time here food was great, and I love the fact that it's like a homemade family serving, meaning you order your food with bottomless sides. Our waitress she was so sweet, pleasant attitude, and knew the menu well . There we're a lot of families there which was good to see, and the outdoor is welcoming a beautiful site to see as well inside. Check them out!

Everything was so delicious! We had the fried catfish, fried chicken and chicken tenders. The sides were bottomless salad, creamed corn, mashed potatoes, green beans and biscuits. The biscuits were really good with the syrup that looked like molasses. The banana pudding was good as well with slices of banana. There was no wait time for our party of 8. Our server was amazing, the staff was amazing. Literally, no issues.

Good place for family style dinner! You order the dinner main dish and the sides are all you can eat! The gravy is the best! The wait staff gets to dance to the hokey poke and other line dances. Down home feel and good food. Try the chicken fried stake is always good! The smoked chicken is a sleeper on the menu. Also the sorghum is so good on the biscuits
