Such a wonderful place. Their drip coffee is the best! We stopped by on our way to detroit. And I will go back for sure!

Good and friendly service! I love their professionalism when they serve a spoon and water before coffee. Be careful if you choose decaf cuz the barista might forget and make you normal coffee… Apple cider not so good

Delicious coffee in a very cute setting along an old timey arcade across from a beautiful antique store. I also had a cherry croissant which was good but I would not call it a croissant. Milky which is what I want for a morning coffee. Tables were clean. I liked the no laptop signs! Friendly too!

A chic continental café tucked into a beautiful old arcade - you'll think you're in Paris! Drinking chocolate so thick it comes with a spoon. Heavenly aroma of coffee. Perfect for quiet conversations with friends, or someone with whom you're hoping for your knees to just barely brush.

This was a gift from heaven on a cold 🥶 Friday morning in Ann Arbour. A cozy place with great coffee ☕️ and croissants 🥐. Loved the combination and also the roasted coffee smell at the cafe. Loved the fact that they served kid sized tumblers with warm milk so that they too could experience the café atmosphere with the adults. A great place to visit for a chat with friends and family if you’re in the vicinity of University of Michigan. 🤩 will be back for sure!!!

The most finger-licking delectable scrumptious coffee I’ve ever had. The people who work here are amazing and will not let you down. A bonus: the funniest barista ever works here. Highly recommend!!!

Awesome coffee and service! Each drink was delicious and perfectly prepared. We had pour-overs (excellent job, to our baristas, Brandon and Jim!) We also enjoyed cascara tea sparklers and iced white peony tea. Loved everything about our visit and experience! Highly recommend!

I love getting coffee from here! My go to is the iced mocha. Not overly sweet and the coffee isn't bitter. The croissant is tomato, feta, basil. I also got a cute dino sticker for my water bottle!

The location is beautiful, the café is inside the arcade. The place is very clean and the staff was very friendly. This review is based on the to-go order of large cappuccino. The drink was very weak and bland, it tasted like warm milk. When reviewing the product online, I received the following response from the management (the message is condescending and rude): "Every coffee place is different so wherever you go always ask about the number of shots in your drink before you order, especially if you like stronger drinks. Our “for here” cappuccino is served in a 6oz porcelain cup with a double shot. It’s twice as strong as what many would call a traditional cappuccino. Our 8oz and 12oz to-go cappuccinos both have double shots so the larger one is weaker coffee-wise. This is perhaps unnecessarily complicated so we rely on our baristas to convey this as needed. We serve a pretty wide-swath of palates. If you’re disappointed here or anywhere, please ask your service person to fix the problem. You’ll find most people in hospitality are willing to bend over backwards so that you’ll be happy with their work. Thanks for giving us a try and sorry we disappointed you."

Comet is my favorite coffee shop in Ann Arbor! I love to start my mornings with their dolce latte which is just perfect. It is not too sweet at all. Lately, I've been switching to oat milk and it still great. I love their pastries as well. The chocolate croissant is delicious. The The outside seating is amazing!

Excellent multiroaster cafe with a large variety of recognizable names available on pour over and bags. There was only a single option on espresso when we came but it was a good one (George Howell's Dattera, Brazil, natural process). The Colombian lactic process from Brandywine roasters on pour over was phenomenal, as was the Kenyan from Ritual. Barista was happy to talk specifics about the bags in store and so far the Genji Challa (Ethiopia, washed proc) from GH and the Mexico from 49th Parallel (natural process) have been incredible at home. Will definitely try to stop here again the next time we're in town!

Great location, great coffee, great service. The only downside is the limited space, but it’s not a big deal. Probably the best cup of coffee in Ann Arbor.

A cute little coffee place! Love the ambience. Coffee tasted pretty legit. I ordered a Large Mocha with a brownie. The coffee wasn’t very sweet but then was working out with bites of the brownie which was too sweet to handle. The staff was very helpful. The seating inside can get conjusted very fast. The outside seating is very nice as you can enjoy the outside with your coffee.

This cafe is a nice hole in the wall coffee shop. The atmostphere is very chill and doesnt give the vibe of a big chain cafe like Starbucks or Biggby. Its a great place if you just want a place to come and work/study or just for the quick pick me up. The baristas were very nice and made the experience good. My latte was nice and hot. It was very delicious. I would recommend this cafe to others.

A small cafe with the best coffee. Hands down the best, most true-to-Italy cappuccinos and lattes I’ve had in Ann Arbor. Staff is always super friendly. Cafe is small but well lit and warm.

The place outside was really pretty. I went there with my boyfriend and we got an ice mocha and special coffee they have, also iced. The coffee was really bad, it didnt have sugar at all, but they have a place inside where you can put yourself sweeteners. We tried to sweeten our coffe but it just didnt taste the same. The price for our coffee was about 10$. I will not come here again

Cozy little place for coffee lovers. If you are as geeky as us about real coffee and fine pour overs this place is the perfect spot for you. The pour over we tried was the best I have tried in the US. Very smooth and flavorful. The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and eager to help you out or just chat about coffee aromas and origins.

Various choice of tea and iced tea of very good quality, I chose the white peony iced tea. We've also had two excellent espresso.

This coffee shop has some kind of mystic water that works with any basic pour over technique. The mystic water brings out the nuttiness with long lasting fruity sweetness at the end, instead of the common smoky bitterness with short finishes. Their use of consistent and reliable roasters including Brandywine, 49 Parallel, George Howell, and Ritual is also a plus. Besides good water, their effort to use natural and organic ingredients is respectable. Just try their chocolate drinks or seasonal latte. On top of that, they also offer free sparkling water made in house. However, it’s probably tap water. Lastly, the vibes make you feel like you’re at home.

Classy (but easy-to-miss) little coffee shop in the arcade. Does a great pourover if you have the time, or a smooth cappuccino if you're in a rush. Their baked good are worth trying too.

I've been going to Comet since it opened about 10 years ago and it's always such a treat! They always have new coffees to try and I love the tasting notes. So much care for the coffee and it really shows in the final product!

Cute little coffee shop with nice service. You can get something to-go or order to stay and enjoy the quasi-outside seating in the arcade just outside of the shop. Only downside is that it’s a little pricey, but I’ll be visiting again!
