Sandy's by the Beech has the best hamburgers! Tonight I got the bacon cheeseburger with all available options. I asked her to be cooked medium and it's exactly what I got. A half pound Patty, Vidalia onion, lettuce, and tomato. A side of crisp fries finished the plate. The catsup and mustard squeeze bottles are huge! See the photo with them next to my pint of beer! The service was great, three beer cold, and the best burgers!

We had a great at this spot. We loved the first-rate atmosphere and the menu. The staff members were super welcoming. I am glad we finally managed to visit this spot.

It's been 20+ years since I last visited Sandy's by the Beech (live out of the area now) and it was just as I remembered it in all the best ways!! Great service, food, and atmosphere. It looks the same without looking dated and it's clear that the owner takes pride in providing a clean, quality establishment that serves tasty food... If you want a great bar burger definitely try one here!

It was okay for my first time visiting there I heard wonderful things about it and I was expecting a little bit more

I always order the chicken tenders here, and they're always delicious. the food is always fresh. I love the fries, I love the amount and quality of the chicken tenders, and I LOVE THE RANCH!! I think Sandy's has the best ranch dipping sauce I've ever tried. if I could buy a bottle and take it home, I would 100% do that. I'd probably buy multiple bottles. the staff is fairly friendly, and you can tell that the regulars love this spot. it's nice to see staff and customers being on a first-name basis. their patio is perfect on a cool summer evening, but the inside of the restaurant is an enjoyable spot to be seated as well. THE FRENCH DIP IS FANTASTIC TOO!!

Best chicken sandwich anywhere around. Chicken is so flavorful and juicy. Really everything here is great. Always hard to choose what I want off the menu. Chicken Caesar salad is amazing too.

My chicken Cesar rap was chewy and has a good amount of chicken but no flavor of cesar dressing. I asked for more dressing. Wait staff was friendly restaurant was clean.

I will say the only item I've ever had here are the burgers, but they are quite tasty. The onion are also a good choice as I really enjoy them. The place can be a little tight as it's quite narrow in the main area. Also, they are cash only so make sure you bring some paper with ya. I will definitely be returning.

Excellent service and excellent food. They take their time getting the food order correct but it's very much worth the time. The sandwiches are usually two meals and the sweet potato fries rule. Plenty of room at the tables even when it's busy.

My experience was memorable, being a pleasant, clean atmosphere, very pleasant and friendly staff. I felt it was a bit pricey for a burger and a Turkey sandwich considering my sandwich was the daily special. I didn't really enjoy my sandwich, the Turkey didn't taste fresh, but I will return again, as observing the menu, and other patrons selections, and I'll try other things.

This place has it all. Amazing food and service. Great place to meet up with friends. They have lottery games, amazing menu and drinks are perfect. Did I mention the staff.... Great service

Just started coming here with my SIL food is always hot and made exactly how you ask. Servers are friendly and fast to check back on you. Highly recommended this place rocks!!

My absolute go-to for burgers! A great value for these half pound monsters and when/if you can finish it, you feel like you accomplished something. Great on tap beer selection in a relaxed atmosphere. It is cash only but I admire they're rebelling against "big credit card" and not kicking that percentage up to the "man." I'd much rather that money end up in the pockets of the owner and staff rather than visa. All in all, this place is in my top ten for good reason.

Great food and nice waitstaff. They have a 3 inch by 5 inch sign on the door(that I didn't see) that says they don't accept credit cards. Ok, but it should really say it's a "CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT" because they don't accept debit cards either. And the waitstaff should tell the customers before they order that it's cash only. However, they conveniently have an ATM... for a fee. Lol

Long time Loyal customers. The last 3 Fridays in a row we ordered three shrimp dinners. They were all very good. All three weeks we placed an identical order. The first week $32 and change, 2nd week $34 and change, last night $37 and change. The same person waited on me the second and third week. Something is not right. Called today inquired about the pricie of shrimp dinners. Was told that they are $9.95 and a dollar extra for onion rings. It would almost seem that someone is possibly trying to make up for loss wages at "Sandys customers" expense. Dishonesty and cheating Sandys customers will lose Sandy even more business and the word will travel further and quicker than Covid-19, thanks to the internet. To top it off I tipped $3 - $5 ea. week regardless of what she charged me. Not to worry SANDY nor her staff will ever get another $Dollar$ of ours.

Sandy's is a great place to Visit with Friends and Family in an Adult like environment. A Sports Restaurant and Bar! It's a cozy place to get a meal with very tasty appetizers, like deep fried cheesy jalapeno peppers, and many good choices of sandwiches with fries, onion rings, and etc. I also had the pleasure of meeting Sandy: the owner which is a very sweet lady, and friendly! I enjoyed every dish that I had! And, My server was smiling, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the menu! We left her a well deserve tip! I ordered the Corned Beef on Rye, pickles on the side thousand island dressing on the side, Cheesy Jalapeno Peppers, with the Greatest Coleslaw On Earth! "Sandy's Meal's are worth the price! . . ."

Everything was good only complaint was good was ready and sitting on the counter for waitress and another came up to talk to the cook and she was right over the food. I didn't care for that but that's just me

The Philly cheese steak was way below the bar. Small bun, Chewy meat, cheap cheese. Little onions and peppers barely cooked. They need to work on this one. Get a burger instead.

We visit every Friday afternoon for the fish/ shrimp dinners- Most times they are fried to perfection- we like the fish nice and crunchy- This can be hit or miss. Today, the shrimp was fried to perfection- nice and plump- Inconsistent in how many you get each week-usually get 8-10- I like their coleslaw - reminds me of KFC slaw- I wish the waitress were more attentive to refilling water…Occasionally, I also get the patty melt- Absolutely best patty melt in the area! They make their burgers thick- juicy, flavorful- I also like their onion rings- I’m so thankful she survived Covid- We’ve been going here for almost 20 years

My kids like this place, it's usually packed or close to it whenever we good. There food is real good. The fried clam dinner is pretty filling and they have a good variety of beers.

My granddaughter had never eaten there nor had she ever eaten a French dip sandwich before so I think we'll definitely be back soon. And an extra Thank you to the ladies celebrating in the corner for the yummy cupcakes!

We really enjoyed our meal. Very busy on a Friday night. I got the Dinty Moore sandwich. Yummy. They are a cash only place. No biggie because we knew it but they say they have an atmosphere there.

One of our local favorites. Known for their burgers. Consistently good food. They do Shrimp and Fish specials on Fridays, but get there early before they sell out. My only issue is the lack of cheese options for the burgers. The only options are American, cheddar or Swiss. Wish they offered Pepper Jack, Provolone and Bleu Cheese as well.

I've been coming here for years and I've never had a bad meal, or bad service. The food is much better than typical 'bar food', and the prices are reasonable. They also have a good selection of beers on tap. It is cash only, but there is a fee-free(at least through my credit union) ATM on site. Best burger in town, but everything on the menu is good.

Best burger in my book!! The staff are friendly and efficient you never have to wait long. They have some really good fried clams and a super big and tasty hot dog. If you've never been don't forget to bring cash as they don't except cards. There is an atm in the building.

Sandy's is the comfortable, older style bar and restaurant you want in your neighborhood. The kind of place you look for when you want good food, decent drinks, and great service.

The meal was fine, service was fine. Until I received the bill. Not until then was I informed they accept "CASH ONLY" Then I realized why so many customers were using the ATM near the entrance. Our server apologized. But another waitress chose to argumentatively point out that the policy is printed-very finely on the bottom of the menu. And outside the entrance. WHICH IT IS NOT POSTED OUTSIDE THE REAR DOOR! This policy really left a bad taste in our mouths-no pun intended! My wife and I live in Clio now but were born and raised in Redford. And we made a special trip to see our childhood homes and to have lunch at Sandy's.
