It used to be my favorite place until their prices went up way to crazy!!! I used to get q salad with chicken for 11$ I called last time and they told me your total is 19$ 8$ up ??? Whyyy??? This is insane since then I didn't order anything bec honestly we don't sit on a bank😒 and the problem is that the salad everytime taste different and the chicken sometimes I'd good sometimes is dry sometimes is old!

Great for groups; would definitely return. We looked for an outside patio for a family event with 50 folks from ages 1 to 80. (Of course, no hookah as there were children.) So grateful I found lava lounge. They opened early for our group. The food was delicious and the service friendly and impeccable. I have to comment on how wonderful the people were to work with, from Chrystal and Lena to Chef and wait staff. They were so kind and went out of their way to make sure that every facet of the event was perfect. I would hold an event there again in a heartbeat!

Mike was an amazing waiter, he checked on us multiple times to make sure dinner was excellent. Came with my two best friends for a great dinner to watch basketball game, dessert, Shai and the BEST arguilleh. The most enjoyable sahra in Dearborn Heights. I can’t wait to come back again 🤗

This place is awesome, food is great and my go to is the crunchy potato salad. Staff always goes above and beyond to make sure my friends and I are taken care of. Mike is awesome! Always prompt, professional and accommodating!

Mike was so sweet and helped accommodate our order exactly how we asked. He was extremely attentive to service us and kept a smile on his face the entire time. I will be coming back to the Lava Lounge once I visit Michigan, after this nice experience ❤️ the vibes are lit and the food is great!

Used to go to this place for hookah and lunch. Their hookah is good if you get the fruit head it will last longer. Their food is ok but not my favorite and I wasn’t a fan of their desserts. The avocado shake was good tho. I give it 4 stars mostly because of their hookah service.

Awesome spot to stop by on a business trip. Excellent service, food and shisha. I’ve had my fair share around the country and this place is no exception to a nice place to sit, eat, work and smoke. Will be coming back!

The herbal tea and mezza were delicious. I eat sushi, and ordered two appetizers, some of the menu items have a mix of ingredients that seem gross. I have no idea where the spiciness is coming from. Too many sub and burger options which make the rest of the menu unbalanced. The variety from different subcultures of food make it seem difficult to appeal for one taste. Prices are very unorganized. While trying to enjoy the soggy nacho, the phone kept ringing very loudly. Hostess/host needs to have their office within the kitchen. They removed the curtains which I loved a lot. It gave privacy and some sort of barrier from all the hookah smokers. The TV entertainment is ugly and doesn't fit with the sitting booths. Maybe it would be better if the table and chairs were used more, the entire room would be more inviting.

Went here to celebrate with family and had the absolute worst experience!!! Staff was very rude! They kept bring out food (no we were not all served at once) and wouldn’t clear the table! We had plasticware and the plastic that it came in was everywhere!! The hookah person was the worst!!! He didn’t even want to make sure that the hookahs were working!! Then was Very upset because we ordered hookah to go!! Never seen so many toothpicks in one hookah !! I will never return to this establishment!!

Very overpriced, the servers take their time and are often sketchy with their upselling (you're not told what is extra charge unless you ask), and gratuities are built-in yet the POS machine still prompts for a tip. The food is average at best.

Nice hookah lounge with a great vibe. All hookahs were good and so was the wide variety of food options. The chicken tawook was the best along with the fried Oreos. Hummus wasn’t very good.

I just want to say what an incredible job the entire team did to help with my visit. They took care of me and made everything easier. The wait staff did an amazing job and the food was amazing. Highly recommend

We just came back here for the first time in a while. The new management has made such an amazing difference. The food was EXCEPTIONAL and our server was very friendly. Everything came out in a timely manner and our whole experience was perfect. We will definitely be back again soon!!!

I don't like the service I wait 15 minutes to get hookah menu for food they don't have printed one, the girl who served me she was so serious and that's make me nervous, food not bad hookah is good I like it, for me every thing was a little Expensive, there's a better place with better prices, I give 5 stars for hookah man and hookah, and I also wait 15 minutes to get the bill, I don't know if i should pay 20% as a Gratuity!!! But be ready that they gonna charge you that ! I will not go back to this place.

Tasty food, convenient layout, friendly staff But sometimes not attentive

Nice change of pace to your local hookah lounge. Talented & friendly service. Chill & comforting ambience. Food Menu is out of this world. Evertime I go I try something new and have never been disappointed. Hookahs are clean & tasty, can definitely tell this place is well managed.

By far the worse service food atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. I do not get a chance to go out often anymore and we decided to try lava again because it’s under new management. There was six people including myself. We ordered food and it came out ice cold. The waiters excuse was the food was sitting for a while on the table. The salads were wrong and the chicken on top came out ice cold twice. The waiter was extremely rude and lied to make an excuse as to why the service was bad. We decided to leave after 30 min being there. Instead of accommodating to this horrible service, lava had the audacity to charge us 160 dollars for the service. The waiter got up in my face and got extremely hostile. There was absolutely no one in this place. The atmosphere there felt like a funeral. Never ever again. This place should shut down.

Cold food came after an hour, waiter didn't check up for an hour, place is empty idk why it took so long. Asked for Cajun and ketchup and didn't get either even after mentioning it. Smoothies came after an hour and 15 mins. I usually am super lenient but this is literally by far the worst experience I've ever had dining out. Never coming back here again.
