The Ole Store Restaurant is part of Northfield's fabric and core establishments, in my opinion. We are grateful that The Ole Store building has been renovated so beautifully and reopened now for years as a restaurant. Not far from the campus, it holds a place in the history of the town. The menu offer typical breakfast fare as well as a few off the beaten path selections. This morning I had the Patatas Bravas, which is a flavorful blend of onions, peppers, chorizo sausage, their special house potatoes and a Brava sauce. It comes topped with goat cheese and I had poached eggs with it. I’ve ordered the beetroot salad and baked crust walleye for dinner before – both are excellent. The chef knows how to add a unique twist to each dish. You definitely know that it is homemade and fresh. The restaurant offers a small town and yet upscale atmosphere. We chose to eat this time by the large front window, but there are corner booths that provide a cozy atmosphere for easy conversations. The food arrived promptly and the waitress was very friendly and courteous. It is a great choice for a family dinner or afternoon business lunch. It’s easy to reserve a table online through Open Table or to order food pickup. Also, while nestled on a residential street, it has its parking area as well as street side parking. It is nice that they provide non-alcholic coctail options. I recommend it highly for great value food that also tastes superb. Excellent service!

My family took me out for Mother's Day brunch. Food good. I had the Ole breakfast and my son had biscuits and gravy. Waitress ok, didn't talk with us much at all.

Reservations were easy online. We weren't able to make a reservation for 10 online but did two parties of five, and they gave us a table (already ready upon arrival) to accommodate! Our waitress was super friendly. The food was hot and fresh! I had ordered the Ole Breakfast. The jam for the toast was delicious. I'd be curious to know if they make it or buy it, because I want more!! :) Eggs were cooked perfectly. All around a great breakfast with family. Thank you!

The staff was incredibly friendly and very nice. The food was a slight disappointment, as we were very excited to come to this restaurant. The hamburger came out overcooked from medium rare, but still edible and pretty good. However the fries were something to be desired. The potato salad was equally odd, being heavily seasoned with something that I cannot identify. It was not the kind of potato salad I was expecting. The best thing we had here was by far the wild rice soup, which was salty but still very good. Overall, nice staff and food that was less than great, but not the worst.

They have a parking lot as well as street parking. It's a pretty decent sized place. Easily about 20 tables of varying sizes. I was seated right away and service was pretty quick. Not a ton of choices in the menu. I usually eat omelettes but they didn't have any. So, I went with the 2 scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns and wheat toast. They have their own in-house jelly which tasted like berry. Food was out pretty quick and tasted good too. Was offered hot sauce/ketchup and of course I chose hot sauce. Everything tasted good. Spent about $20 including the tip.

So adorable! Went for 2 meals. Brunch and dinner. Brunch was absolutely amazing!! The chai brioche French toast with lingonberry was fabulous. Hash browns + eggs Benedict was stellar. I didn’t get a pic but the biscuits and gravy w/ swedish meatball gravy to die for. Dinner was good too. Obviously more expensive than brunch, I would put it in the $30-40 range. The food was tasty, everything is seasoned very well, cooked well and very fresh tasting. If I had to pick one, definitely go for breakfast/ brunch!

Went on for Saturday brunch and was not disappointed! The kids especially loved the pancakes and Dutch Baby. My salmon scramble was perfect. Recently I returned for dinner two times. Both visits were an excellent experience, the new owner as of 2019 has really elevated the restaurant to the next level. The staff is happy and delightful and the food is spectacular. Everything on the menu just hits perfectly.

Very cute and cozy restaurant! Food was good and got to our table hot and fresh. Prices weren't too bad either. Server and hostess were also very nice, we definitely had a pleasant evening. I loved the relaxed, warm atmosphere of the restaurant and we will be back!

Everything I’ve ever had here has always been great. The service is always good too. I’ve been here for breakfast and dinner and has yet to disappoint. Their fast with getting us seating as well as getting the food out. The last time in was there I got their steak and potatoes, it was 10/10 I think it is my new favorite item on their menu. They do get fairly busy during dinner as well as depending on the day. Friday dinner time you may need to make a reservation in advance. Over all if you’re in the area I’d recommend trying out the Ole Store 👌🏽

I’ve enjoyed Ole Store in the past quite a bit (about 10 years ago), so hopefully today’s brunch visit was an anomaly. The hash browns were soaking literally in a puddle of oil, the bacon was limp, the toast was quite burnt. We were seated in the lawn outdoors, so no waitstaff, otherwise we probably would’ve sent it all back. Like I said, I’ve enjoyed Ole Store in the past, but based on today’s visit, I don’t plan to return for a while.

Ole Store has always been our go to place when we want to go out for a nicer meal. We went there tonight to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. Meghan, our server, was very attentive and great service as usual. The braised short ribs over a bed of wild rice and root vegetables were so tender and flavorful. And my usual, the Swedish Meatballs, did not disappoint. So blessed to have the s amazing restaurant in our town.

Reservations recommended. But that night we got lucky and had a 15 minute wait. I had the wild rice soup and some "puff bread" The soup was so good. And it warmed me up on that cold evening.
