Brown sugar latte was good. Everything else was not. The sweet potato fries were $12 and had maybe a teaspoon of sauce on them, then at the bottom were 5 strips of tofu… I got a bahn mi and several ingredients were missing. No cilantro in sight, no scallions. But there were an absolute ton of carrots that tasted…not great. The jalapeños tasted like sweet peppers and were not spicy in the slightest. The dishes they serve in are also difficult to use because the sides are so high you have to kind of scrape down the sides to get your sandwich out. I find it weird they use to go containers for dine in, I know they used to have actual plates and silverware. My mug was cracked bad enough there were gaps in the ceramic which makes me question what could be trapped in the gaps bacteria/old food wise. 15 minutes after leaving, the food was not settling very happy in my stomach either. The kitchen already seemed overwhelmed so I didn’t want to bother them and I leave reviews for myself when I wonder how it was I can reference it again.

I left a good review based upon one order. I made the same order and they sold me a stale, molded bun, literally as hard as a rock. Then they kept asking me to call them for a refund, mediocre at best. UPDATE: I called them, they said they'd call back and it's been a week. No response to the MOLDY STALE BUN they sold me DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Honestly not sure why it took me so long to write a review for Chive because I've thought about this place everyday since I ate here. First of all, it's so wonderful going somewhere and knowing you can order anything on the menu. It's truly a beautiful thing. Then, when all of those things on the menu sound delicious... It's incredible. I had a really hard time deciding what to get, but we ended up with the spicy nachos, buffalo burrito, buffalo seitan sandwich, and banana cake. The nachos were so good I immediately regretted not ordering another plate of them for my entree. They were loaded with toppings and definitely big enough to share. I didn't try the burrito but my boyfriend also gave Chive 5 stars so... I'm assuming it was good. The buffalo sandwich was HUGE and delicious. Huge piece of crispy-breaded seitan loaded with buffalo sauce. The fries weren't super crispy but they were well-seasoned and still delicious. We got the banana cake to-go because we were stuffed by this point, and I'm so glad it was a giant slice so we could eat it twice. I haven't had too many cakes since going vegan, but this cake was one of the best cakes I've ever had -- vegan and non-vegan. My birthday is 8 months away and I'm still looking forward to ordering it then. Another great thing about Chive is it's next to The Cheese Lady, which sells Violife cheeses. The only bad thing about this place is it's kind of far away from me and not really on the way to anything... But it's so good I'll make the drive just for them.

I wish I could give negative 5 stars. I was so excited to see Veg-o-Rama initially opening up in Canton. They had the menu just about right and well maintained quality for most of the time. However, ever since COVID has started with their places shutdown for a while; they have lost their touch. let me explain what had happened the last time we had ordered cauliflower wings, cauliflower inside the stuffing was very dry and looked raw and undercooked. The outer shell was so stale and smelled so bad. we had to throw it in the trash. Past 2 times we ordered after the re-opening, we got disappointed. I have decided to stop giving them chances and write up a review so that none of the others out there will suffer like us.

I used to love this place and would grab it for lunch on workdays quite often. I was in the area last night so I placed a to go order. I was so excited to eat it but the food was so blah - not flavorful, burnt, sloppily thrown together & simply did not look very appetizing. I ordered the jalapeño popper sandwich, nachos and a slice of the chocolate beet cake. The sandwich was terrible - the cream cheese spread was super sloppy and there was a glob in the center of the bread. The onion rings were burnt. The nacho cheese on the nachos tasted stale and awkward. Definitely did not resemble any type of vegan queso I’ve ever had - it was also this light brown color & that just looked unappetizing. As for the beet cake - that was the best thing I ordered & even then it wasn’t amazing. I’m bummed because I used to love this place but I’m very disappointed with the food and unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be back.

Chive was delicious and had an awesome vibe! My boyfriend and I went for lunch and had a great time. Charlie helped us and was SO nice and genuinely personable. The cocktails he made and the food we ordered were all delicious, and we can’t wait to try the grab-and-go stuff coleslaw and desserts we took home! Will def be back soon. Thanks, Chive!

Great food! Good ambience. Definitely coming back to try other options on the menu. Makes me happy to know as a vegetarian/ vegan, I don’t have to search for 1-2 options from a dozen menu options but rather have an entire menu of vegan options to choose from.

Coney dog did not hit. Banana Pudding had no cookie in it and seemed watery. 😩 Side salad chive dressing was the best part of the meal. Customer service pushed my rating up to a 3 star rating.

It's worth the wait. First time there today. The wait was long but soooo worth it. I ordered the buttered chicken bowl with brown rice. So delicious. Don't get me started on their vegan chocolate cupcakes...they were the best cupcakes my boyfriend and i have ever had....hard to believe they were vegan. I can't wait to come here and try more stuff

I went to this restaurant half expecting to be disappointed, as vegan food often leaves me still hungry and not satisfied. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised by this place! The food is impeccable! Seriously so so good. The entrées are Creative and delicious and affordable. I love this place! The guy that served us, Charlie, was so sweet and attentive, couldn't ask for a better dining experience. Thank you Chive! I will be booking you to cater my next event 100% -can't wait to come back. (Im obsessed with the midnight Miami 😍)

not a bad place to eat

We had a great experience here. Our order included the black bean burger, the golden potatoes burger, the vegan hotdog, and both sweet potatoe and regular fries. Everything was great! Our favorites were probably the black bean burger and the sweet potato fries!

This place has a special place in my eating out list. It's the best place for consistency in flavours. I'm not much of a burger person but I'm in their burger fan club now for good. Please check this place for for vegan/vegetarian food experience and meat lovers this place will surprise you. Much love

Pros: Good prices Good quality Fast service (no-contact pickup) The artichoke po-boy is delicious (and huge!). It reminds me of a Big Mac. Cons: The jalapeño burger was a tad bland for my taste, but still pretty good!! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the items!

WOW! Ate yesterday at Chive and even if you don't like eating vegan you need to check it out. Charlie at the bar crafted some of the best drinks I have had in a long time. This is with fresh ingredients made from actual fruit/herbs (not processed). Ate and left feeling good not heavy and tired. You have to go even just to have a good drink at the bar! Say hi to Charlie he made the experience even better!

Just incredible first time experience. Ordered takeout and was one of the best meals I've ever had. anyone who is curious about vegetarian or vegan food should definitely give this place a try. Chive kitchen will not disappoint. I don't know what strawberry curd is but I know it was incredible in my dessert. Will definitely be coming back to this place and I look forward to trying everything on the menu.

AMAZING! How did I sleep on this place for so long?! I have walked by this amazing spot a few times, and today I finally decided to stop in. I had the pesto sandwich to go, and it was so good. Great flavor, fresh ingredients. If I wasn't on my lunch break, I would have stayed for a glass of wine. Very large selection of wine and other drinks. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

The menu is a little pricey for me, but not for the area. A variety of vegetarian foods to choose from including the new impossible order. My personal favorite is the BBQ Jack Fruit sandwich which taste like a pulled pork sandwich. It's not fast food, so be prepared to wait while they prepare your order. I do encourage you to try this place. They do have another location also that i am aware of.

Fresh space for a quick bite, cocktails were up to par, service was friendly and relaxed. I had the Ruben, for a non-vegan it is recommendation worthy!

This place is a Michigan treasure! Absolutely amazing food and so many great dishes, you will start planning your next visit before you leave. Totally loved the ginger sangria and fried artichoke bowl and the tofu started I can't remember the name of. The location is in the heart of downtown Farmington so lots of places to explore and enjoy as part of your visit.

I was super excited to find a vegetarian place with such high ratings. I wish we could have had the 4.5 experience though. First thing that should have let me know it was going to be a bad experience I called to see what time they closed which was a good thing I did because she said “online orders only no dine in anything else” very rudely. I didn’t pay her much attention, with it being online orders only I knew we wouldn’t have to deal with nasty attitude having Nancy. We placed our order at 6:00, the estimated time was 30-35 minutes. I received an email saying that our food was done at 6:35. My boyfriend goes in to get the food to my surprise they tell him it’s not done. 10-15 more minutes they say. Goes back in at 6:45-6:50 just for them to tell him to wait outside. Finally a little after 7 he comes out with the food. All the while he said each time he went in they were acting all nervous and looking at him like he shouldn’t be in there. Now let’s get to the food. Chives you guys should be ashamed of how much you charge and how nasty your food is. I’m not sure what you guys did to make fries black but not hard. How’s you accomplish that? Then got the nerve to slap seasoning on top. Almost 80 dollars including a tip just for the food to be thrown away. The food was not hot so I don’t know what we waited an hour for. Your customer service and food sucks!! Bad experience all around!

We worked with Chive for our Detroit wedding on June 10th, 2023. Suzy was an absolute pleasure to work with over the past year and allowed us to customize everything - our florals, decor, cutting cake, and food and drinks menus. She is truly an artist and has a great sense of design. The end result was fantastic - we had a romantic, ethereal desert-themed wedding at the Jam Handy. It felt very personalized and incorporated some of our own touches. I highly recommend Chive for event planning and catering! ALSO their vegan restaurant in Farmington is delicious!!

I love this place. The owner, Suzy, is super friendly and if you join their email list, she always sends out amazing deals to keep you coming back. They are always updating the menu with different special menu items which I really like. They have an AMAZING pastry chef. My favorite desserts are the tres leches, banana pudding and cardamom cake. I really wish this place was open more during the week.

We hired Chive to cater our 44-person reception, and we also opted for Suzy's coordination/planning services - everything was PERFECT. We didn't get to try any food beforehand as we live out-of-state, but we trusted Suzy and wow - she nailed it. Every single thing I tasted was delicious. We had so many guests complimenting the food, and they didn't even realize it was vegan! The planning, coordinating, and decor was perfect. We gave Suzy a lot of freedom, and she blew it out of the water. It was such a great time, and Suzy and her employees were a big part of that. Thank you SO MUCH!

Suzie was great to work with and we're very glad to have hired her as the caterer and day-of coordinator for our wedding. For catering, her food is wonderful, full stop, we had her do a vegetarian Spanish-inspired menu and the guests were very pleased, it was all delicious and every element of serving was well orchestrated. Her staff were helpful and professional. As our organizer, Suzie was on the ball with everything, again very professional and easy to work with. Everything became a blur after the ceremony but I knew I could relax because everything was being taken care of. We highly recommend Suzie and Chive for both roles (caterer and day-of coordinator.)

Ten out of five stars. My wife and I have been to Chive so many times. We've done many repeated Sunday brunches that have all been excellent, we've brought many friends and relatives to enjoy, and we've of course enjoyed their top knotch dinners. Most importantly, Chive catered our anniversary party yesterday. Suzy and the Chive staff were amazing every step of the process, from planning to menu to payments to delivery and set up. And wow, the food they brought to the table was ridiculously good. Appetizers, mains, desserts, all worth fighting over (but there was no need because portions were also reasonable). Our party had some vegans but mostly was comprised of omnivores and everyone absolutely raved about and praised the food. No one else could have done it better. Highly highly recommended for dining in and for catering.

Loved it! Almost all vegan menu with great variety. I had the masala tofu bowl and my husband had the mean green veggie burger, both were delicious. Service was great, not too fast though, so likely they were cooking it to order. Atmosphere was more take-out, less sit-down. Bathroom was clean. If we are in the area again we will definitely be back.

I've just found this place online an hour ago. I must say the food is perfect, from the spices, portions and prices. In fact I couldn't help but to park conveniently by the restaurant just in case I wanted seconds. Convenience it was. The customer service was honest and fair. I was not disappointed.... As a vegan myself, I recommended to all who are in the mood for love in every bite....

Not sure overall but I ordered butter paneer, the flavor is not indian for sure! Qty was good however, They have some ingredient that gives it a sweet and different ( weird for me) kind of taste. For typical or authentic indian taste, I wouldn’t recommend butter paneer!

We tried black bean and jack fruit burger and it was a mess. The jack fruit was a brown mush in between bread. Masala fries were lousy and the overall taste for the food was a joke. Never again.

ordered the vegan hotdog, cuban and strawberry mint lemonade from doordash. food came quickly and was packed well! the only thing I wasn’t crazy over was the cuban but I didn’t think about how a cuban needs pulled pork aka jackfruit which i’m not a fan of so it’s on me! I can not wait to try more!!

Really wanted this place to be good, unfortunately it was utterly disappointing. And disappointing is an understatement! We ordered the Jackfruit burger, the Paneer burger and a couple of other things. I was struggling to find the jackfruit in the patty, and the Paneer burger has thin sliver of paneer all I could see was double or triple fried layers of batter, so also was the case with the cauliflower wings, which were tiny cauliflower florets made almost twice it's size with layers of deep fried batter. The flatbread pizza was decent with it's taste profile but we noticed that all the food that we ordered had a weird underlying bitter taste to it, and I was struggling to understand what it was... Thanks for serving a ruined evening meal. Never coming back!

Ordered the cauliflower wing nothing but batter, some of the cauliflower was smaller than my thumb nail. If I could post a picture I would love to show you. I definitely could make this at home & it would be 100% better. Fries were to salty, so those are a no go also.

Soooooo slow

First time customer....The lettuce on our Impossible burger was yellow/brown ... not worth 9 dollars..... Jackfruit sandwich was a soggy mushy disaster with no flavor....

We recently found this place over the weekend. We have been there twice to try a variety of the menu. Everything was well priced and the portions satisfying. The impossible burger and the falafel burger are great go-to options, especially with a pretzel bun! We also enjoyed the cauliflower wings and the sweet potato fries. This place has been added to our top 5 takeout restaurants!

Food is really good. There is a variety of vegetarian food that you can try which you don't get in other normal menu places. Loved the Potato burger and jack fruit burger. Masala Fries is good. Currywurst is a must try too. Service is pretty fast and the price is nominal. MUST TRY PLACE!

This place used to be so good but to me they have gone down hill. They change what they put on the sandwiches all the time. I used to love the Cuban and Philly now they are really weird. $9 for a sub is quite expensive too.

It's great when you are vegetarian and don't have to sift through the menu for what's safe. Veg and non veg friends alike love this place.
