This is a lovely little park, nice and clean. There are bathrooms and a play structure as well as a shelter. It is usually well traversed in the afternoons, pretty popular. The wildlife is very friendly too, I was visited by ducks who investigated my quilt and knitting politely.

Nice little park, we stopped here after going to the Novi taco fest to relax and check out some of the scenery. I also brought my drone and was able to fly it and get some good videos of some of the beautiful views during the sunset. Was a little hard though from where we were to actually watch the full sunset due to some of the houses and trees.

Great park to go to walk around or relax even. In the summer time you can just lay out on the grass. Bring a blanket during the spring time because the geese poop is everywhere. The view is amazing over here too. It’s a perfect place to bring your baby too because they can crawl or walk and you can see exactly where they are because of the open view and scenery.

This park is very clean and well maintained. The water is clean and beautiful.

I understand that the management are unable to keep any lifeguard for what ever reason.... but I don’t understand why there is no changing room or a clean up place. The beach are is dirty. The water is dirty. It’s like get in the water and take the dirty stuff with you at home. You probably can stop your self not to get in the water. But not your kids. So practically you are taking a wet dirt bag in your car and to the home .

Long walk to beach from lot. Good beach for an inland lake. Good for small kids because of the play structure.

Great area for a get-together or art fair! Clean, kept up well by park staff, and it's walking distance from the paddle boat, kayak and other boat rentals. Great boat tour on the hour, where you can sit back and cruise and learn a little more about the park and see wildlife up close.

FYI The only negative: Had to walk along the beach for a bit to find a break in the large amount of slimy seaweed for the little ones to get into the water. Otherwise, the beach, parking lot etc. were clean, no glass or plastic. 😊

The best place to hangout and for picnic. Trees block the sunset view but the sky view is amazing and worth spending time.

Nice park to hangout with family/friends! There are few benches along the lake. Most people/ families sit by trees and bring their hammock or play sports/ games etc. Sunset/ sunrise are beautiful!

Very nice park. The grass was cut and great for a picnic. Plenty of room for small families and a nice view of the lake. The trash bins were all full and the bathrooms were messy. There might be less maintenance because of the virus.

There are many things I love about this park but it's somewhat incomplete, without adequate shaded areas. It's mostly an open field traversed by sidewalks. But, great views and nice but small pavilion.

One of the best public parks in Novi area to visit with friends or family. The park area is not as big as state park but the lake view is refreshing. Has small kids play area as well. It might be hard to find parking area during evening times.

A scenic park overlooking Walled Lake. Even has a play area for the little ones. The activity on the trails doesn't diminish the tranquility.

We really enjoy this park. It is a nice spot to relax and be outside with great views of the lake. Parking can be a pain sometimes on busy weekends, but weekdays are not too bad.

What a stunning area this is. Very easy to stay socially distant here while enjoying some nature.

Maple Beach is a great getaway and small beach atmosphere for the whole family. Its small enough to not be overwhelming, but big enough to not be overcrowded usually. It seems that it is gaining in popularity however. So it may be getting overcrowded soon. The only major downside to the beach is the fact that there is goose poop EVERYWHERE. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Kensington Metropark has Alot of Outdoor activities that can be done baking, kayaking, paddle boating, canoeing, beaches, fishing, water park, farm with animals, disk golf course, tabogan run, hiking trails, wildlife preserve with walking paths, it has picnic areas all over with grills fun for all seasons.

It is a ok beach, some areas are dirty. The water wasn’t the cleanest either. They had a splash pad that looked nice. My grandson only wanted to swim and had so much fun.

I went to a car meet here and it was well maintained and all the employees were polite and respectful

My church has their annual picnic here every year and it's always so nice. Not crowded, ample parking, and right off the water. It's literally the perfect place for a nice intimate picnic, or to sit under a tree and just meditate. The equipment for the playground is really nice too. You will not be disappointed

I very much enjoy Rebellion Shore Park on walled Lakes South end. There's benches and tables right next to the lake there's benches and tables under the Pavilion in case it starts to rain or the sun's like really hot. Some of the benches are in shade under trees it's always immaculate. There's always lots of kids enjoying the children play area. I wish there were more parking spaces near the Pavilion especially ones that are handicapped cuz I can't walk very far.

Nice to get some plyometrics done while watching people cruise around. Nice little running trail too.

On a warm and sunny Saturday afternoon, we decided to visit this park. The timing couldn't have been more perfect as the weather was just right. As we arrived, we were greeted by a picturesque scene. The park was bustling with activity, and families and friends were enjoying leisurely picnics right by the water. The idyllic setting made for a charming and relaxing atmosphere, creating a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was a truly delightful experience, soaking in the beauty of the surroundings while savoring the warmth of the sun.

This is the spot where i take my family and kids during weekends to have peace of mind and to let my kids enjoy their time on the playground and me and my wife enjoy the beauty of the lake and the great landscape view, i highly recommend it if you want to spend a good time with your family.

I greatly enjoyed my time at the park. It’s a small quaint little area that has toilet facilities and a couple picnic areas. The shoreline view is beautiful and you can walk right up to the water (do not touch or enter). The boats surrounding the park are fun to look at as well. The walking path is not long and turns into a bike trail at one end, a sidewalk at another, and in a third direction it becomes the street. Small, but nice to walk around with a family play area.

What a nice place! Plenty of amenities, including covered picnic tables , picnic tables out by the water, restrooms, and plenty of free parking. A great place to enjoy a lunch break or just some time outdoors. You can take the path from here to lakeshore beach and park, which has lots of hiking and MTB trails!
