Overall great experience at 99 in Bristol, CT. Our server, Ryan, was super friendly, upbeat and really attentive throughout the entire meal. Sweet potato haddock had 2 decent sized pieces of fish and came with a salad and rice as sides. Fish was cooked just right. It's a unique combo to have the sweet potato crusted topping, might not be for everyone, but it worked for us. 16oz. sirloin tips, came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Tips were cooked medium and were tender. Both entrees were served hot. Menu has lots of choices and with the great service, 99 is a good option for dinner.

Last night my husband and I went to the 99 restaurant in Bristol. We had such a great time. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding! We ate at the bar and the bartender Alex was great as usual!! My husband and I have been going to 99 in Bristol for years and we are always so happy when Alex waits on us. He’s so customer focused, attentive and personable. We always have several laughs and feel like we are dining with friends when he’s there!! When we think of 99 we think of Alex!! If you want great service ask for him because it’s a guarantee!!

Very good food, with great selection. Waitresses and waiters are always nice. Can take a while for food, but a go-to family or friend dinner spot. Very sporty with decorations. This is the honey mustard chicken salad, it came with two slices of warm pita bread I already ate.

Overall pretty good experience. Our server was very nice and brought our food out quickly. However, calling ahead makes no difference in whether you get seated earlier or not. Just take that into consideration before calling.

I have been coming here once a week for years now and the atmosphere that Alex has created is miraculous. I have watched week after week and year after year as every single customer that walks in says the same thing" Hi Alex!". I can't remember the last time I saw someone at the bar that didn't know him or that he didn't know. In today's ever changing world, Alex has been a staple of this community for over 20 years. When I think of 99, the first thing that comes to mind is Alex greeting you as you walk though the door. Keep up the amazing work Sir!

The food is very good for a big chain restaurant. Their staff is friendly and inviting when you enter. They perform well under pressure with busy times. Its not a long wait and they get you seated right away. Overall good job you guys.

Place was terrible no service took me 10 mins to get my drink while the waitress was rude took me 30 mins to get my food just for it to be raw and over cooked sent it back and got a new one and it was terrible

So wife and I always have a good meal and service is always very good. Sirloin tips, the best! There curbside order ahead is great too.

i love the wings , they have good sides free pop corn yummy lobster rolls and deals best thing free food with red sox wins

First time visit, server was Lorraine- amazing server, very knowledgeable on the menu , and made some recommendations with made my experience even better, tried the Lobster Roll Buttered, awesome!!! The clam chowder was good, the key lime pie was good as well, overall enjoyed my visit- price was reasonable!

Was amazing food and I absolutely loved the asppargas..my first time going and it did not disappoint..

This is our last visit to 99. Not busy, but waited 10 minutes for a beer and cocktail. Ordered Hallock and a wrap, waited a long time for the meal. Fish was burnt. Too upset to inform the waitress about the issue. Wanted to get out as soon as possible. Ninety Nine just became a O for us. Will never return.

My stepdaughter wanted to come here for dinner to celebrate her 11th birthday. The food was honestly some of the worst I've had. The steak was leathery, dry and flavorless and I had ordered it cooked medium. The service was extremely Sub par and we almost seemed like a bother to our waitress. When I asked her if they had a candle for my stepdaughter's dessert she looked at me like I had 3 heads and told me she would have to ask. She brought back the dessert without it and didnt even mention it. I didn't feel like that was an odd request every other restaurant does it.

Well, I just paid 25 bucks for baked stuffed shrimp and while the food tasted great, there were 5 of 6 COCKTAIL SIZE shrimp with a pretty generic flavored brearing on top. Honestly, the shrimp cocktail that APLLEWOOD RESTAURANT used to have were MUCH better/larger. Those were 10$ 😜😂 Overall, service was great. It's just the portion/price that's a real problem. Sorry 99🤷😏

We came in for happy our around 5pm, towards the back end of happy hour. The bartender seemed pretty inconvenienced by my family wanting to get a few happy hour drinks before our meal and quite loudly told us we should have come earlier if we wanted happy hour, it was honestly kind of embarrassing as the bar was quiet. I got the hot butter colossal lobster roll, it was alright, the lobster was rubbery, kinda bland and cold, the roll was soggy from the butter. Probably not going to be coming back.

We are from the Pacific Northwest 4 hrs out of Seattle, WA. Atmosphere was OK. The restaurant needs better greeters. Waiters and waitresses should be greeting there customers. The young man who sat us tried his best. My dinner was the fish and chips which was delicious. My daughter ordered her meal for her and her daughter. She said it was delicious but my husband ordered the Baked Haddock and when the waitress brought it to him the table permeated of rotten fish. When you order fish it should not smell of rotten fish. My husband took a little bite of it and almost threw up. The hair on his arms stood up. Shame on the chef for trying to serve rotten Haddock. We've eaten Haddock in New York state. Never did it smell fishy. It was firm meaty and delicious. When we saw it on the menu we became excited but later totally disappointed. The waitress was very nice and met our expectations.
