I came back to this location since I had received a gift card to go. I just want to say I appreciate the gift card sent to me by Mecha but also I always give my honest opinion on my experience since it helps other people know exactly how the restaurant is. I had hopes the restaurant would redeem itself from my previous bad experience but I was not impressed when I went back again. Customer service is everything and when you feel like the staff does not want to interact with their customers in a kind and courteous manner it makes a huge impact to the overall experience of the restaurant.. even if the food is not good, great customer service goes a long way. I Ordered red oil dumplings, katsu bao, mushroom dumpling, and spicy miso ramen. The red oil dumpling was cold as soon as we received it, katsu was very dry, mushroom was ok but didn’t have enough sauce, when I received the miso ramen ..I tried the broth and it tasted like water.. I let the waiter know and he said it is because I didn’t stir it and went to get a new one. I have gone to Mecha many times over the years and not once did the broth taste like water. Then someone came over which.. I guess was the manager I have no idea because she didn’t introduce herself and looked like another customer. She told me again that I should have stirred the ramen.. I was confused since she didn’t introduce herself also she seemed to have an attitude about it. If that was the manager I hope she interacts with customers in a more professional manner in the future. Also I felt like I was being blamed for their mistake which is just horrible to make a customer feel that way. If I do go back to Mecha in the future it won’t be to this location. I really hope they strive to doing better in the future.

a different experience!! but everything is fine, not to my taste but I give them a 5 star because of the attention and above all the food, a function of Asian food, to everyone who likes food with soup! I recommend them, they have a wide variety in which I liked the chicken. something that I saw well and caught my attention was that the place is very familiar, to enjoy.

Spicy Miso Ramen was so good. The broth was flavorful and very umami. It was definitely my favorite part of my lunch. I do wish that at $15.50 per bowl, it had a bit more toppings and maybe half an egg or so already included. The Vietnamese coffee was fine, pretty average. The staff was very friendly and very attentive. He walked me through everything as it was my first time at Mecha (not my first ramen shop) which was very kind of him. He checked up to ask about the meal pretty often as well. Will definitely be back.

The food is spot on every time. If you like noodles and soup go for it. They are very present to the current reality and do all a restaurant can with respect to protocols. Very well done and the food is delicious. Try them out if you have not yet. There are many menu items to choose from if noodles or soup is not your thing. Bao. Dumplings. Kfc.. My latest update is that you can order double chicken for the kimchi fried rice. Makes it an even more filling great tasting dish. And more. Have I mentioned the pho King... Darn it its yummy in my tummy. Today had the cold beef noodle dish and it was fun and tasty. My wife had the vegetarian ramen and it looked gorgeous. I recommend ordering double chicken for the kimchi fried rice. It's delightful. I don't think I mentioned the day they had bears BBQ items mixed in with theirs. It was intense and can't wait for more fusion events. I'm here multiple times a month. Consistent awesome service and the food is always well done. My most recent lunch was my buddies first time and he said he'll be back with his family and business associates. Tonight I had my first cocktail. The name was brilliant like 5 finger smack it up something or other. Had tequila habanero cucumber. Damn it was refreshing and my wife even loved it. Cold noodles with beef was brilliant. Can't wait to try the new seasonal items. Also brought carry out to our son of course.

Awesome service, food and drinks are delicious, only once that I went was the food so so but service was still amazing. Overall would really recommend, they even offer extra noodles for your portion if you have extra broth for only 2 dollars! Big portions (I always have enough left to take home for a second meal). Having been on my to go list for some time, I'm glad we finally went. We ordered, pho with steak and short rib, KFC bao, pork belly bao, dumplings and ramen!!! Everything we had hit the ball out of the park!!! I'm in love with that ginger ale!! Absolutely returning as I've been craving it since!!! Also loved the fun atmosphere with the cool photography!! Our waiter was helpful and extremely friendly!!!

We’re big fans of Mecha, and I finally made it to their West Hartford location! The food was consistent to their other locations and we had a great meal as always. Attentive and friendly staff and always a cool vibe. I would definitely come back to this location again!

The Staff were friendly, but I must say, please ask the staff about the meals you want to try. As a plant-based eater, that day, I struggled because one of the waiters didn’t inform me that the red miso had chicken broth in it, which kind of upset me. Luckily there was another team member who informed me before I dug deep into the meal. And went ahead to tell me about the meal safe for vegetarians and vegan to eat. (I wish I had got her name, very nice lady). If you are not sure about what to order, To be a safe side, please order the veggie fried rice. That’s what I finally got, but my appetite was long gone at that points. Ate a few forks and took the rest home (tasted 100x better the next morning as usual😊). My sisters orders the ramen bowl (shoyu paitan), boba tea and Spicy Chicken Bahnmi ( this was the highlight of their meal -must try). They said the ramen bowls were just okay. We did not have the best experience here in the beginning, but it turned out alright after all. Plus it’s location and vibe is really good.

Great food (wings and ramen) and great service. However the space is relatively small so I would recommend getting a reservation because we had to wait in front of the door and it was extremely cold. The architecture of the doorway also allows cool air to get in periodically which creates a cold space but other wise I like it. Parking is kinda bad but you can figure it out.

Busy as a friday evening gets , drinks were amazing the bartender wow'd us with her drinks! Had the flower bomb sangria and a Sifu Lee presentation was immaculate! Staff were courteous checked in often and cleared the table seamlessly Ramen was piping hot and very tasty opted for the hot chili oil add in do recommend if you like an extra kick overall good staff , good drinks, calm atmosphere and great Ramen/Pho

Seating could be an issue if they’re busy; but it’s some good ramen. If you’re looking for a good ramen chain in the east coast, they are good but if you’re searching for something more authentic you could check out some more local shops in the West Hartford area.

As usual amazing food with good service. This time we tried the General Tso shrimp appetizer and everyone agreed it was amazing. Crispy and super rich with the perfect blend of tang, spice and sweet!

Probably the best Mecha. Service is great, polite and prompt. staff anticipated my every needs from door to table. Shout out to back of the house, the cooks there really do an amazing job, the quality and presentation is pretty good, they are doing something good back there. I live in New Haven, I wish the Mecha there was as good as this one. Big thanks to the team.

Love their noodles- both: ramen and pho and their cocktails, I always order "smoke show" tequila+mezcal w/ ginger and passion fruit omG so good!

Took my hubby to Mecha and as usual it didn’t disappoint. He had the Pho sizzle and added brisket and meatballs. We also had the pork belly bao buns and the sweet and sour spare ribs. For drinks we had the lemon hibiscus non alcoholic drink and it was small but very good!Everything was chefs kiss! He loved everything we ordered and can’t wait to go back and try some of their other stuff.

I LOVE Mecha. My friends and I come here at least once a week. I always bring friends/family here to try and the consensus is always the same. Really good food/drinks and the vibes and atmosphere are awesome. I’ve converted even the pickiest of eaters to ramen because of Mecha. If you’re just trying “real” ramen start with the Shoyu Paitan (it’s like chicken ramen) . The spicy miso ramen, sweet and sour ribs, and fried rice are standouts for sure. $2 extra noodles to finish broth up always offered too!

This was my first time and it was absolutely amazing. Food, ambience, staff and the prompt service was hands down satisfying. Thank you so much. My husband and I loved the set up and vibe the place gave out. We will definitely be back again. ❤

Always searching for a solo that way I can feel comfortable eating by myself I came here and enjoyed my time at the bar Christine was awesome and help me review the menu so I can understand a little bit of it and get some tasty sake. She was freaking great even offer me more noodles for my Ramen 🍜 broth. Extra clean I came around 12 PM on a Thursday very ideal if you don’t mind eating lunch by yourself. Thank you Christine!!!
