great staff but never get properly diagnosed… been here multiple times and i’m either told there’s no problem or i am misdiagnosed. yesterday i went in for a sore throat and i was told there was no issue and to just ride out the pain. today i went to my primary care physician and was diagnosed with a bacterial infection and prescribed antibiotics and steroids. wont be returning to this office.

I recently had the need to visit an urgent care facility and I am thrilled to say that my experience at CityMD exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel comfortable and assured that I was in good hands. The facility itself was clean, modern, and well-organized. The waiting area was spacious and comfortable, and I didn't have to wait long before being seen by a healthcare professional. The staff was highly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They took the time to listen to my concerns, ask thorough questions, and provide me with a clear explanation of my diagnosis and treatment options. I was impressed by the level of efficiency and the seamless coordination among the staff. They promptly conducted the necessary tests and procedures, and the results were explained to me in a manner that I could easily understand. The entire process was swift, yet I never felt rushed or overlooked. Furthermore, the quality of care I received was top-notch. The healthcare providers were skilled, experienced, and genuinely cared about my well-being. They went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met and that I left the facility with a solid understanding of my condition and the necessary steps for recovery.

The Doctor or the provider was extremely unprofessional. Me and my wife tested positive at the CityMD. My wife is pregnant and had few questions regarding medication. The doctor rushed into the room announcing she tested positive, lots of fluid and rest. These are the 2 sentences he said. When asked about a note for work he said “Your work doesn’t want you now anyway”. As we are almost in the fifth wave of Covid he made us feel like we have done a crime or something and treated us like third class citizens, wasn’t too sure if the treatment we have received was due to us being brown skinned or being positive for Covid. Either way it is completely unacceptable behavior from a doctor. Never going to any CityMD again!!

Visited CityMD in Ronkonkoma on 11/17/23 for a sinus infection. P.A. said I had Rhino Virus (common cold), even though all my symptoms were that of a sinus infection (I have a history of them) prescribed a nasal spray and Tessalon Perles for cough (which I didn't have and conveyed to him) but did not prescribe an antibiotic. On 11/22/23, was no better & called CityMD and was told I would have to be seen again, so I contacted my primary care provider and had a telehealth appointment and an antibiotic was sent to my pharmacy. I will think twice before going to CityMD the next time.

This review is not for CityMD as a whole but for the PA Anthony Yip. Saw him the other day with my daughter and he was cold and not pleasant, acted like we were ruining his day. Didn't seem to care about my symtoms and didnt act he even believed that I had strep. Was shocked when my results were positive. My daughter already had it but was still having pain so I knew I caught it from her. When he asked if we followed with the ped after her 10 days of antibiotics, I told him we hadnt because they had been backed up. His response? "Must be nice." I'm sorry, what? The next time I'm there, I will make sure to not see him. I saw a much nicer doctor there when I was sick months back. The nurse was 20x nicer than he was.

I was showing signs of possible Lyme disease from a recent tick bit out in Montalk. My Dr wisely decided that it was too early to test for it with blood work but a good idea to move forward with antibiotics treatment for possible Lyme disease. My mother has got Lyme disease. It is nothing to joke with. This wise thinking by the Dr may have spared me a lot of future suffering. I am grateful!

The staff at reception was exceptional and they get 3 stars. I accompanied an elderly family member that needed to be tested for a UTI. The patient is hard of hearing so I went into the exam room to be sure the nurse received accurate information. After intake the doctor came into the room and told me I needed to help get the urine sample. There were at least 4 staff member sitting around. I explained I am not trained to perform any medical task. We will never go there again.

I had the the good fortune of seeing Dr Maria Vesey on 11/14 who was compassionate, caring and listened to me. It was my 2nd trip there with the first visit practically a waste of time. Thank you Dr Vesey for restoring my health and helping me breathe again.

Facility is clean and taken care of. Staff is nice, friendly and ready to answer all your questions and concerns. Sadly I forgot the PA assistants names but they were so kind and gentle with my grandmother. PA Silvester is the sweetest PA in the clinic. she made my grandmother feel so comfortable. Thank you Dr. Silvester we appreciate you.

The best time I ever had slicing my hand wide open! Nancy is outright amazing. Everyone is, really. Ask for room #8, it's spacious and luxurious. I can't wait to get my stitches out to see everyone again. I will undoubtedly save them as a memento of this whole excellent experience.

if i could rate less than one star i could, i have never been in more pain in my life with my throat and all they told me was that they “don’t know” and there’s “nothing they could do about it”. what do they expect me to do, sit around and deal with it, they did a strep, covid and flu test and they all came back negative so they just stopped there and gave up. absolutely ridiculous and terribly unhelpful staff.

I've been very happy with the care I receive at CityMD. The place is clean, the staff is courteous, and they generally get you in and out pretty quickly.

Sure there was a little wait, that’s to be expected at a walk in. But the male nurse was so sweet and understanding of why I was there, and had much knowledge, and Dr. Maqsood was so kind and helpful. I’m really happy I went. Thank you.
