Le Pélican is a come one, come all destination for many a Tubaab and local. The mosquito nets are both functional AND decorative. The pool is a great place to observe S. haematobium in its natural habitat.

Great and quiet place to watch birds like pelicans, herons, and go around the mangroves. Nice beach around. The place and the rooms are being renovated for more comfort.

Good place to relax on the shores of the wide and beautiful river. A bit pricey but not many alternatives in the area. Toilets in the public area near the restaurant could have been better kept and stable water distribution should be seen as a priority as it often stopped from coming out of the tap.

Main building and restaurant are awesome. Rooms and overall a bit tired and old. Water and electricity are out often.
