Really pleased to have stopped by and had a lovely meal! It is the first time I have visited a restaurant that is Vegetarian based. It is definitely the kind of place you go to and try different things on the menu each time. The portion sizes here are very generous and will leave you stuffed. Food was very flavoursome! My only downside was the cups given looked ‘well used’ 🥴

If you are vegetarian, vegan or just like excellent food, this is the place for you. I would recommend reserving a table if you go after 7pm. Luckily, we got there around 6 pm, so we had a pick of the tables. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. They offered to walk us through the menu depending on what we wanted. We decided to go for the tasting menu with dessert and drinks, which was £30 per head or no dessert and drinks for £25. The food was amazing and they explained each dish and it came out in good time. We loved it. Also, BYOB is without corkage cost. I would happily be going back. Thank you guys!

Fabulous Peckham institution serving various Middle Eastern inspired dishes: all of which are vegetarian (several dishes can be made vegan). Despite being a born and bred Peckhamite, I had never visited Persepolis until recently. I knew the shop had been there for quite some time, and the restaurant had gradually expanded over the years. It was always on my radar, but I’d never gotten around to visiting until now - better late than never I suppose! You enter via the shop entrance and wait to be seated. They’ve utilised the space well, and although it’s compact you don’t feel overcrowded. I loved the colourful decor, and although the seating is basic it’s very comfortable. The staff were lovely - very welcoming, and they kindly took the time to explain the menu to me. I decided to have the Falafel Flatbread, along with the Date & Cardamom Latte. Service was pretty quick, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. The flatbread was massive and packed with deliciousness! Combined with the accompanying chips and side salad it really was excellent value for money - but far too big for me to finish. Though the staff did offer to put any leftovers in a doggie bag for me to take home. I shall definitely return to try more of the menu.

Overall the starters were really nice but we didn't really enjoy the main courses. The menu needs photos or at least better description from the waiters. My dish was quite bitter, and later I asked the waiters if my dish was meant to taste like this and if many people ordered it. He said it was an acquired taste...

I had a really enjoyable evening, we was recommended the £30 sharing plates which included a drink and dessert and we thought why not! So we experience a lot of different dishes! It was really fun and tasty. The waiters were really knowledgeable on the dishes and made it clear to me which was vegan. Even gave me my own vegan dessert at the end. I would definitely go again. Thanks for everyone who made it great!

Been past this restaurant a few times and it’s always been busy. Tried the tasting menu at the restaurant and it was amazing. Food was well presented, tasted lovely with all the flavours and was a good portion size. It’s a BYO restaurant, take a bottle of wine. Would recommend coming to this restaurant to try the food and have a enjoyable experience.

The feasting menu lives up to its name! Waddled out of here after countless delicious courses that went beautifully with the soft drinks on the menu and the bottle of wine we brought and cracked open with no fee. The dishes were well presented, the staff enthusiastic and knowledgeable but not overbearing, and the ambience was a delight. Would be great for a group.

Ate in here tonight. Was fantastic!! The staff +owner are so kind. You feel like a guest in their home eating their. So welcoming and understanding. And the food is vegetarian which for me is perfect. They do some sort of set meal for £20 which is what we had and can see in the photos. Food was delicious and takes away the Hassel of choosing, we ate food I'd never even heard of before was great. The deal includes starter and desert. Even includes two drinks each coffee, juice, whatever. If you want booze it's BYOB. What more can you ask of a place!! Simply amazing, would be good for a different, cute date.

Had a lovely evening here with a group of friends. If the weather is good, ask to sit upstairs in the terrace which has a really nice atmosphere! The food was delicious, we had a 8-plate mezze and and kuftah - all vegetarian which was super yummy. We needed to order more bread but only because the dips were so good. They also have a good selection of non alcoholic drinks. Dessert wasn’t my favourite, but still good, would be great if they served the baklavas and pastries sold at the shop in the restaurant. Everything was very affordable too.

Came here many years ago and sat within the shop. Returned and it's just got even better. Authentic tasty veggie food. The feasting menu is an absolute feast and different every time. It's still byo and still super friendly.

Food was absolutely amazing, atmosphere was lovely, but service was slow and it didn't seem like the waiters knew what they were doing. Would recommend :)

£20 set menu is very good value (meze, mix of mains, desert and 2 soft drinks) - BYOB too which is a plus. Friendly staff and nice laid back atmosphere, with a mix of different people enjoying their evenings. Food is yummy, we were all stuffed by the end and couldn’t get through half the dessert. Would recommend for a tasty, good value meal with friends, make sure you’re hungry!

I had the £30 menu and I had to accept defeat by dessert. Lovely food and vegetarian for all the veggies out there. Lovely atmosphere on the terrace.

Perspolis Restaurant and Shop offers Persian and Middle East cuisine and a diverse selection of speciality products. With rich flavours, warm ambience, and attentive service (especially the nice Persian lady who works there), it's a must-visit for Middle Eastern food enthusiasts. Just know that some Persian dishes are not 100% authentic as they've been subtly altered with additional ingredients or influences from other Middle Eastern cuisines, but still nice 👍🏻 Defo try their hotpot - especially Gheymeh 😋

I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited Iran and my greatest regret of my time there is not having been able to experience its vegan cuisine. I was only vegetarian at the time and we were working long hours, so to now go beyond the ‘grab and go‘ and to savour a real experience was luscious. The dips and the aromatic rice, the immaculate aubergine, the date- and cardamom-infused hot beverages were all wonderfully laid out as sharing platters. Super tasty and although the place is vegetarian, the cheery knowledge of the vegan collections we fabulous. Hidden away in south London’s Peckham, this treat is well worth venturing outside of Soho for.

Amazing Persian restaurant and grocery store in the heart of Pekham, with seasonal fresh pastries. Amazing food, super friendly staff. My favorite Persian corner in South London.

Great affordable vegetarian/vegan food. Came in as a walk in and were delighted to be met with a set menu with multiple courses including 2x drinks at £25 a head. We gave dietary requirements then sat back and waited for our 7 courses to be delivered. Personal highlights included curry potatoes with vegan cheese, various bean stews and the mezze platter. My bf had a date milkshake which was also delicious. Service was super friendly and quick despite a full restaurant. Would recommend for a chill but huge dinner. BYOB and nut-allergy friendly. Will definitely be back again

The food was nothing to write home about, honestly. The dish tasted like a microwaved ready meal and was undercooked and dry. And the service forgot things I'd asked for about 3 times. The teas are quite nice, however. The place is cute and has good decor but you can't skate by on scenery.
