A beautifully decorated vegan restaurant. This place is a vibe. They sell the creamiest coffee which is great definitely recommend. There is a small seating area and they also sell organic produce. Organic herbs from spices to nuts and oils they have it all and so well presented. The staff are always super helpful, kind, welcoming and friendly. A lovely relaxed and peaceful place to shop, eat vegan and stop off for food and a refreshment.

A fantastic find the food and drinks are delicious. Great staff and the adjoining store makes it a fantastic one stop shop for food, bulk buy and gifts. Highly recommend I took 5 people there and they all love it too. Long may it continue. Photo's cannot do the tase justice!

Fantastic ethical and vegan gem on Brixton road. You can get the best galletes, delicious drinks, freshly made oat milk, freshly made peanut butter and other delicious foods. I am definitely going back for my vegan crunchy nut gallete with peanut butter, chocolate and banana. Everyone is so friendly and there is a lovely dog. I love this place.

We bumped in to this little vegan cafe/restaurant and shop while looking for late lunch options with kids. It has very unique interior and cosy vibes. And pleasantly surprised with great menu options and tasty food. Highly recommended! Also they got sustainability sourced shop for vegan and vegetarians.

We were in the area for some work and chanced upon this place. The words vegan creperie caught our eye and boy are we pleased we decided to stop by!! The place is run by a friendly bunch of people and the food is AMAZING!! So hearty, wholesome and delicious. Their menu seemed to have a lot of Brazilian flavours and dishes, but didn't leave out the regular favourites. We enjoyed a galette, the sausage roll, croissants and some hot drinks. The little refill shot attached to it is so cute and we got a lot of goodies from there too. Can't wait to come back :)

Lovely vegan and dairy free shop with a bonus cafe, which has many options for people with dietary requirements, packs a punch for flavour and also decent for those without. Give it a try to get your health buzz

One of my favorites vegan restaurants in London. Very nice space, friendly people, quality products and delicious food!! They have a bulk store inside the restaurant that has a lot of vegan products.

We had a plate and a savory crepe. The plate was just fine, but the crepe was too loaded with cheese that i had to basically squeeze it away. Other than that the tastes were good! I’d recommend to ask with less cheese or with no cheese at all. For desert we had a chocolate-banana crepe, which was good, but again too much chocolate. Apparently, there is such thing as too much chocolate…

I love this place, it's amazing!! It's fully vegan, which is definitely the most important thing for me. Besides, the food is absolutely delicious!! The prices are fair, the staff is nice, the owner is kind and she has such a cute little dog!! Everything here is perfect! I would rate it as 6 stars if I could.

Huge (somewhat intimidating) selection of bulk foods and zero waste options for the curious punter looking to reduce their impact on the earth. But where it really shines is the South American themed in house food menu, ranging from delicious tofu scramble bagels and hearty takes on the english breakfast to their famed crepes. An unmissable spot for a vegan breakfast in Brixton, and the staff are always lovely and attentive. Go for your weekly dried chickpea top-up, stay for the grub.

We really enjoyed our crêpe here - it was te vegan hazelnut dream. We snuck in just before closing time so the service was a bit distracted but otherwise it's a cute spot to get a bite.

Deliciously vegan and gluten free food in this little restaurant. Small but straight forward menu. Super nice and friendly staff. Fast and efficient service. Even if you’re a meat eater, give it a try!

Oh my gosh what amazing food, this place is so nice, beautifully done interior and there food is amazing. The hardest part was choosing what to have as there were so many good options but both of us really ended up enjoying what we had which was the feijoada & galette. And they do great fresh juices and smoothies too.

I was a frequent visitor to the pop up at King's Cross and Pipoca galettes were one of the foods I missed most during lockdown. I finally had chance to have one again today at their proper home in Brixton and it was even better! Absolutely brilliant food in great portion sizes, even for a hungry person like me! Lovely little store and loads of tempting vegan products. The kind of place you could take a non-vegan to show them how healthy and yet awesomely fun vegan food can be.

I felt bad to give this place 3 ⭐️ The ambiance was inviting, with a tastefully decorated interior and the food is honestly delicious. Here is the problem, Eventho it’s been said several times in the comment the management doesn’t seem like bothered to change what has been said, that’s why i gave it low score. * Service : Found this place on google, recently change my dite to Vegan. First time visit here, we stand at the door as we don’t know the rule about the restaurant and no one seem like to care, the staff doesn’t even want to give us eye contact so we take a seat our self and ask one of the cook where we can find the menu 🤦🏾‍♂️ * food. as I’ve said the food test amazing and presentation is fine and came with in 10-15 min but the portion is small, specially the cake 😂 2.50 or so for it, come on ☹️ 🤟 What I will suggest from my experience, Please pay the staff a bit more so they work with a smile on their face 😂 and be welcoming. Put the menu where it’s visible (fyi - by the entrance is a typical place) First thing you enter what you see is the kitchen 🤦🏾‍♂️ so it’s confusing, where your order or pay. Over all if anyone want to go this place, just expect this things not to get disappointed and give them lower start than me 😜 as you won’t get disappointed about the food your order 😊

I’m not vegan but I tried this place with a friend and was very satisfied with the food. I’m usually not a fan of vegan food as it tastes different but at Pipoca I couldn’t tell it was vegan. It was super tasty and a lot of different dishes were served. The service is a bit slow and the atmosphere is a bit suffocating but I would still recommend it, especially if you’re vegan.

Divine fresh, flakey pastries; vegan too. Absolutely delicious! Top tip - get them warmed up 😍 Lovely spot with tasty and fresh food. Service good and so welcoming. Great shop too, with all your dry goods zero waste. Amazing selection of vegan goods.

I got a coconut flat white to go. What I received was far from it. It looked and tasted like a bad filter coffee with no foamy milk whatsoever. It was also boiling hot so the coffee tasted burnt. A waste of £3.50. Very disappointed.

An average review of 4.5 massively underestimates place. I’m not a vegan, hippie or a treehugger and very much love my steak. Wondered around Brixton with my hungry 6 year old daughter and she chose! Well she chose right. - savoury crepes ✅ - sweet crepes ✅✅❤️ - coffee - well decent and matcha latte better than in Coffeeology in Richmond!

I love Pipoca! It's an excellent vegan brunch place with lots of gluten-free options, and they do it all really well. The sustainable groceries section has lots of interesting things that I haven't found elsewhere, too.

We got there on a Saturday for breakfast. The food is really good, I ordered an avocado toast that didn’t had anything out of normal, but my boyfriend got 2 plates and they were really abundant and tasty. You have to order inside which I personally don’t love but all good. And they share the store with another one that sells all kind of seeds, teas, and interesting stuff. So you can finish your food and get some goodies.

Really good crepes, vegan and gluten free options, although it’s a good 1 hour away, I’m always happy to travel there as the food is amazing, service is great and everything is cooked on site in their open kitchen. A little gem in the middle of Brixton - highly recommended

This is not my sort of place. It's convenient when visiting friends. It's vegan which means that the cookies have no butter. Or sugar. And most probably no chocolate. If you are a vegan you are most probably used to this. If you like some joy in your life, avoid this place.

We came as a pair, one of us had a vegan breakfast the other had a banana loaf, it was mouldy. Staff apologised and offered something else, saying it was made the day before... The other had great food. Good coffee. They seem very busy with online orders, so there was plenty of confusion apparent with orders of those there.

Brilliant place for dining in vegan food (Brazilian/fusion), friendly service and lots of organic /eco friendly grocery stuff to buy (many of which you can bring your own container to take away). We will be coming back again!

  • 5/5 Wesley D. 4 years ago on Google
Never knew of this place until my boss and his partner took me here. A truly amazing shop. All natural pure products, with a nice focus on reduced packaging. People are highly encouraged to bring their own containers for the items they wish to purchase. Not to worry if you don’t move paper bags are on hand too. Everything is in a self service manner and done by weight. The foot traffic in here was busy as was the coffee shop added onto the place. If natural simplistic and good whole food is your cup of tea visit Pipoca today. Don’t forget your containers.

Great zero waste/refill shop as it has a big variety of stock. The food and coffee in the cafe is good too. However, it could be SO MUCH better if they stopped overfilling the cafe and shop with stuff. The cafe is now an uncomfortable squeeze because it’s full of cards and gifts. I wouldn’t even consider eating there again as there is no comfort in it. It’s the same in the shop, for some reason they have table to eat in there (a smaller one each time I’ve been back). It’s awkward. You feel like you are invading a diner’s personal space while they eat lunch and you browse. I always fear knocking stuff over as there is stuff everywhere! It’s overwhelming and unnecessary. It could be a brilliant cafe and shop with a better lay out and common sense!

The food is delicious, the staff super welcoming, the place cozy and somewhat inspiring - I really can't ask for anything else. A must for anyone eating vegan and highly recommend for anybody else.

Wonderful, different and homely food. We had soup, brunch and savoury and sweet gazette (both of which were gluten free) Limited seating space. Shall definitely return

Decided to visit Pipoca after hearing good things online and from friends...and wasn't disappointed. Probably the tastiest vegan brunch I have had in a long time, felt real homemade, could taste all the elements in the hearty bean stew. Had the Mexican brunch (my partner had the equally delicious Brixton Brunch!) and we shared the Cassava chips. The staff were friendly and chatty, just lots of welcoming vibes...will 100% be returning to try other dishes on the menu! Steven.

As a meat lover 🍖, I was gladly surprised by the quality and taste of the vegan meals offered by Pipoca ! I felt full but not sleepy. I definitely recommend The Jamming for plantain lovers. In addition, the discreet and nice staff makes you feel peaceful and welcome 😊
