Tips for Climbing Chandranath Hill: 1. **Stay Hydrated:** Make sure to bring plenty of water with you. 2. **Pack Light:** If possible, avoid carrying a backpack to prevent early fatigue. You can keep your bag at the bottom of the hill, it will cost you 40-50 BDT. 3. **Use a Walking Stick:** A stick can provide valuable support while climbing up and especially when descending the hill. Again, you can buy or rent a climbing stick from the bottom of the hill. 4. **Convenient Shops:** You'll find several mobile shops (tong dokan) along the trail, which can be a nice advantage during your climb. Chandranath Hill, standing at 1,020 feet in Sitakunda, Chattogram, Bangladesh, is an absolutely stunning trekking spot! It’s a wonderful mix of natural beauty, with lush greenery, peaceful waterfalls, and breathtaking views, all topped off with the historic Chandranath Temple. I took a stick to help climb the mountain. Priced at 40 Taka but if you returned a stick, you’d get 20 Taka back. I’ll always cherish those memories; it was such an amazing experience! The mountain was pretty high, taking little breaks while climbing up. made it up the hill without too much trouble. The higher you climb, the more breathtaking the views become! There were a few stalls along the way, but their prices were a bit steep. At the very top found a lovely temple. Coming down was tricky for me, I got lost and took the road of eco park.  Well, it was another thrill for me and as a nature lover. The mountains also had refreshing springs to enjoy. If you’d rather not hike, you can take a CNG (auto rickshaw) to the top, but just keep in mind that it’s a bit pricey and the journey takes a while. Still, there's something really rewarding about walking up the hills! Please don't throw your trash or plastics here and there. Don't do such a thing that can hurt the locals. Keep the sanity of the place. Happy travelling 🌼

You will get xtra adventure ..Best Place for start tracking if you are new to here then take water first before starting tracking. Try to make a group tour here it will help you in tracking. Here, the total time is near about 1 hour(based on the tracking speed)....... On Winter it may be good for tracking but the rainy season is risky also. #Happy_Tracking #ST_Merchant #BD_ST_Merchant.

Proceed with caution. The trek is very risky and not so safe. For most of the part there is no railing or any kind of safety measurements for the climbers. Don't forget it rent/buy a stick to help you get up there. The stairs also very steep and it gets slippery in the rainy season. So, you are at your own risk. You'll find small shops to buy water, lemonade and energy drinks on your way. However their service maybe a bit expensive. Although the trek is difficult and dangerous, the place is undoubtedly very beautiful and mesmerising. Once you get up there it's definitely worth it!

A spiritual place. A place where peace is found. A place of the god Mahadev. The natural beauty of the hills, the pilgrimage of a devotee after the darshan of Mahadev's temple by crossing the inaccessible roads, besides the beauty of the hills will enthrall him. Har Har Shambhu 🖤🙏

Chandranath Hill, standing at 1,020 feet in Sitakunda, Bangladesh, is a breathtaking trekking destination. It offers a blend of natural beauty with lush greenery, serene waterfalls, and stunning views, crowned by the historic Chandranath Temple. I had a strong desire to conquer this majestic hill, but sadly, due to sickness, I couldn’t make it to the summit. However, I am determined to come back stronger. Next time, my preparation will be unwavering, and I will fulfill my dream of reaching the top. Tips before climbing Chandranath Hill: Take water with you—it’s essential to stay hydrated. If possible, avoid carrying a backpack; it will help you avoid getting tired early. Carry a stick for support—it’s helpful both for climbing up and especially for getting down the hill. The good news is you’ll find many tong dukan (mobile shops) along the hill, which can be a pleasant convenience.

The greatest of all religious places for the pilgrims of 'Sonaton' as stated that 'The Lord Shiva' /'Devadideva'/ 'Mohadeva' stays here in the Sonaton Era 'Koli' ( The last of Four Era).

What a wonderful adventure it was! We take sticks to climb the mountain. The price per stick was 40Taka. But if I return the stick I will get 20 Taka. I will never forget those memories. It was amazing. The mountain is very high. But I take a little rest and climb the hill easily. The higher you go, the more beautiful you get. There are some stalls on the hill, but the prices are very high. And there is a temple on top of the hill. But I find it difficult to go down the hill, my toenails hurt. There are springs in the mountains. [ If you want, you can go by car (CNG). But it is expensive. And it has to travel a long way. ] I think there is a sense of satisfaction in walking up hills.

Chandranath Hill is a hill located 4 km east of Sitakunda Bazar in Chittagong. Its approximate height is 1020 feet. It is currently a popular tourist spot among visitors. Most of the visitors are here for trekking. There is also a temple of Sanatan Dharma followers here for which a large number of pilgrims come here every year. There are 2 roads to climb Chandranath Hill. The road on the right side is almost entirely stairs and the road on the left is entirely a mountain path, there are some broken stairs. An ideal place for those who like mountains.
