Gomant Vidya Niketan has been standing strong since the Portuguese Era....... It was renamed to Gomant Vidya Niketan from Saraswat Brahman Samaj, then a small Library in 1912..... It's just located within the heart of the city.... And plays one of the key factors in helping promoting state cultural programmes and shows....... The building also has corporate offices like Registrar Office of Housing Society on the 3rd floor, Govind Baba Kare Auditorium on the 1st floor, A small library situated on the ground floor as well as small Air conditioned hall located on the 2nd floor..... Canteen too is available outside the Auditorium...... Eatables are allowed in the auditorium despite the paper warnings given..... The manager too whose incharge here is okay with her service..... Staff attitude and professionalism is nice and pretty okay...... Air conditioning were a major setbacks especially in the auditorium..... Lots of complaints and backlash faced for that one..... The Hall is fine.... But not in it's great shape.... Looks like it'll be needing a second renovation after the 2012 one..... If you're here say hello to Broken Doors, Broken Seats, Unclean bathrooms, Broken Lift system etc......

Very good and well mentained air conditioning auditorium

When there is drama in the hall the team workers or the officers should maintain full air conditioned place. Even the actors where sweating there and this is how you make money to raise the property. Very bad service from yesterday 15:30 pm show drama of Prince Jacob

Boasts a good auditorium, big enough to hold an annual gathering or theatre performances... Has a good, accessible library just behind it...

Needs a lot of improvement.. as an audience i would love to have a good seating arrangements,well maintained toilets and a good cafeterias..which this auditorium is lacking !!

Been here for meetings..and the hall is good ..it's acoustics are proper and a good place to have a big event organised

It's Margao's cultural centre, it has a good library, used by many Margao citizens.
