Fatorda is situated near the city of Margao in the Salcete district of South Goa. It is well known for the Fatorda Stadium which is the only stadium in Goa. The villagers here thus enjoy the sports of football and cricket. The Fatorda Stadium has a seating capacity of 45000 people and has hosted many international games. It is a cricket cum football stadium that was established in 1989. It was formerly known as the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium named after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

20/03/2022 Hero indian super league final.. After 2 years Fans allowed to the stadium, thousands of fans from Kerala travelled to Goa to watch the match, unfortunately kerala blasters FC loss in the penalties. Match ticket was around 99 and 150. Outside fans buy tickets for 1000 and 1500 in Black Market.... Only problem is they don't even allow water bottles inside, and the water rate inside was too much tooo😬 . You can easily access to the stadium If you are coming in train. From madgoan railway station around 4kms walk. Or you will get bus from madgoan market to fatorda ( around 10rs bus fare). And the other option is you can rent a bike, beware of local taxi, they may fool you...

This is the entirety of the magic that occurs for the FIFA World Cup, the AFC Competition, and the Hero Indian Super League (ISL). In this Stadium, legendary occurrences and historical events occurred frequently. This stadium is where Goa's football heart, passion and souls are born and raised.

Need improvement. Specially walking track.. no lights.. dark at night time.. not safe.. snakes can see at side of walking track.. so scary & dangerous... there should clean the unwanted plants near walking track.. when I see that snake, on that day I didn't go for walking only... people just be careful.,....

Good one, but there was some light issue that happened while in the match. Lights were dim for a moment, well maintained but barricades were not that strong I felt and it's welding is only from one side and it's not safe for the other side viewers

Went to see Goa V Mumbai it was my first visit to a football stadium anywhere and I have to say I was impressed nice and clean and well organised, my only gripe was that one of our group was disabled and in a wheelchair and there are no lifts or facilities for them which is a shame.

Football stadium located at Fatorda. The stadium and its premises are good. You cant find any public transport service like auto, bus etc.. near the stadium. The public bus station is 650 mtr away from the stadium (Margao KTC stand).

Great place to watch football games and other sports. The seats are are nice but little dirty. The atmosphere here is magical during Fc goa games. Would recommended you to attend one home game to get that feel.
