Terrible experience. Do not book this place in offseason. You will terribly disappointed. I had booked a stay at Pele's Fisherman Village, Benaulim via booking.com from 5 July to 8 July. I paid 13306 for 2 people. Inspite of paying such a huge amount in an off-season, the experience so terrible, I didn't stay there for more than 60 minutes. After checking the facilities at the place, I moved to another hotel and had to spend additional money there. Listing down things that were wrong. 1. Photos were extremely misleading All the photos uploaded are during the Goa visiting season i.e. Sep to March. I visited in July which is rainy season. The photos didn't reflect the reality of this off-season. 2. The photos shows beachview, but you can't see the beach because of the trees and the plastic that is wrapped to protect the structure from rains When asked, the host Pauloma said the owner likes trees. 3. The listing shows Outdoors - Garden, BBQ facilities, Outdoor furniture All these were either covered with plastic sheet or can't be used due to rains. The outdoor furniture is constantly wet due to rains or in an area where it's covered by plastic sheets on all sides. 4. The listing says it's a 3-star hotel. IT IS NOT. It's a homestay with some facilities and a great location. The rooms are extremely basic. They were clean, but not worth the money charged. No hot water even after keeping the tap running for 2 hours. It says a balcony, but it's not a private balcony. It's a common balcony for multiple rooms. The lights in the evening aren't adequate. The host isn't available half of the time. 5. They only care for money The moment me and wife arrived, we were asked to pay money first. No welcome drink, no showing of rooms, no hospitality. All the passages were wet all the time. Places and balconies were covered in plastic sheet. Outdoor can't be accessed due to rains. On asking for a refund in another 1 hour, they refused and said we cannot pay. Forcibly, I had to ask my other friends to stay at the same place, so at least they can save money. They hated the place. They said it wasn't worth more than INR 1000/ night. Why the hell should I be paying so much money in such an off-season? Please check the photos uploaded with this review. Also check other reviews with lowest ratings. They have similar experience of what I have shared.

I recently stayed in beach front cottages and I have to say, the highlight of my trip was definitely the beach. It was only a minute's walk away, and it felt like we had our own private beach. It was one of the cleanest beaches I have seen in Goa, and it was unexplored, which made the experience even more special. The service at the cottages was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The food was also delicious, with a great mix of local and international cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes, which were fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall, my stay at the Pele's fisherman village beach front cottages was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Goa. The combination of a pristine beach, great service, and delicious food made for a truly unforgettable trip.

Ah, this hotel is a hidden treasure located in the heart of South Goa. Our stay was extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The property has direct access to the beach where one can do water sports, chill at shacks or just enjoy the beach. The hotel also has a great restaurant area where your friends can chill nicely. The cottages are pretty good with all basic amenities available. The staff is extremely sweet and courteous. We did not face an issue with anything, since they were always there to help. They also put up a projector for us to have a movie night, right outside our apartment. The hotel can work on having an in-house restaurant service available(although they have a restaurant from where you can order seperately) , and can make the 1 bhk apartments a little better in terms of furniture. But the single room cottages were great and didn't miss any amenity. The hotel should also not charge extra money for extra towels. Rest everything was perfect. The best part about this property is its location, price and access to the beach. Getting a hotel like this at such a good price is a steal. Kudos to the team that made our stay super great. Highly recommended !!!

We went there with friends and had a really good stay. The place is very serene and close to beach. It's best place to have some good quality time with Nature. The beach is private and that's plus 1 point Their studio rooms are well equipped with induction, fridge and water purifier as well. So, it's convenient for longer stays. The care taker of the place are very friendly and helpful.

The location and the view is the best part of this place. Service from all the staff - Paloma, shamesh is excellent and warm. But for the prices of the food, guests deserve much better quality, suggestions and variety at this place. Specially for people who opt for a breakfast included, the breakfast is pretty ordinary. The staff needs to know their food and drink (was given whiskey with orange juice for a whiskey sour once!) offerings better and the quality surely needs to be better too.

This hotel certainly was the best I have ever stayed in. We had booked a cottage there and the staff was cooperative and responsive to everything that we needed. The experience was amazing as this was a beachside hotel, and one could enjoy the sunset every evening, located on Benaulim beach. The food was good, and arrangements for travelling and water activities can be done easily. Needless to say, one must book their stay here for at least 3-4 days as there are also many things to visit nearby.

Cleanliness and comfort describe the place best. And service is top quality.. u don’t have to ask for anything twice. Access to the beach is spectacular. Nice beach facilities and restaurant. Paloma, the manager is unintrusive and warm. Only minor concern was that the wooden walls mean noises from other guests could disturb you. Yet this is a place I would love come back(after staying twice)

I stayed at Pele's fisherman last week The stay was amazing unfortunately when I visited on the same day there was power cut but we didn't feel the heat as they have a beautiful beach front restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the waves and yes the cool breeze. I would definitely choose to visit this place again. Special thanks to Ramen, Paloma, Pallab for making our stay comfortable.

Excellent location with a private beach and a nice restaurant. The staff was also very helpful, especially Ramen who saved my day so that I did not miss my bus back to Pune. I selected the small room, which was clean and fit for my purpose as a solo traveller wanting to spend a relaxed weekend in south Goa. I will come back.

We stayed in cottages for 2 days, our stay was very smooth. You can hear the sound of sea just outside the cottages. Beach is just outside and hence very easily accessible. The restaurant and shack on the property play good music and serve you very well. The staff is also very cooperative.

Nice place connected to beach you can get private beach feel plus they have kept wooden shack on beach which you can use for free we used to use late night till 12pm enjoying cool breeze sunset and best doing of sea waves. We stayed for 5 days and 4 nights they have wooden cottages room service and facility was ok as they don't have intercom facility which I feel is must. Food is good one can have breakfast lunch dinner with drinks in there connected restaurant which is beach facing.

Pele's is a very good property. We stayed in cottages for 2 days, our stay was very smooth. You can hear the sound of sea just outside the cottages. Beach is just outside and hence very easily accessible. The restaurant and shack on the property play good music and serve you very well. The staff is also very cooperative. Only issue we faced was powercut, but that was due to some fault in the power line, the staff tried their best to resolve it. Sunset views are amazing from the restaurant deck. Can't wait to visit this place again.

Loved my stay over here. The location of the resort is great with greenery around and direct access to the beach. Rooms are also clean and spacious. They have a good sea-facing sitting area with a lovely ambiance to chill. The place is managed by a couple of young guys who are great to talk to. Paloma was a very good and accommodating host too! Definitely making this my go-to place to stay in when visiting Goa! Would love to re-visit the place during the peak season for an open-air movie experience (missed that)!

Excellent place for a quiet holiday. Clean hygienic rooms, food good and most importantly great host - you can spend lovely quiet evenings on the beach with some really nice music and an interesting interaction with the host. Kids would also love it.

Absolutely wonderful place. Quiet and serene. Very polite and helpful staff. Right on the beach. Birds in the morning, lovely constance cool breeze throughout the day and the beach right at your doorstep makes it an absolute paradise. Barring a few minor changes in the room, everything else was just perfect. It was a 3 night stay for us but I wish it was much longer. The most amazing facility was "Pet Friendly". That truly crowned our opinion. 1. White lights in the rooms or a little better lighting. 2. The fluctuation issue needs to be resolved ASAP. 3. Maybe a little cooler for drinks in the room would be nice. 4. A room service for food and drinks would also be nice.

Room Service was the worst, we had to request many times for the room cleaning to be done. Not at All recommended for VEGETARIANS. The vegetarian food was worst, it was cooked in the same vessels and oils where non veg was cooked. The water was not coming in between and even if it did the water was muddy and not clean. The Cottage rooms were the worst. Ac was not working properly and the voltage is not proper. No good Maintanence.

Excellent place to visit with your family and friends. Food was great. Location is amazing 🤩 it's a sea front property. Cottage was clean and specious. We had a nice chat with the owner Mr Pele n he suggested good dishes. Staff is very cooperative. Will definitely recommend for an unforgettable beach vacation

We had a meal at the restaurant by the beach, which was a lovely setting until we got bitten at least 30 or 40 times on the legs LOL having dinner. Dinner is really expensive and not very good. We were charged Rs.1200 just for a fried POMFRET fish, which is completely ridiculous. Very expensive for what it is and the food is not that great, but the location setting right by the setting sun is very nice if you have enough insect repellent.

We cannot say enough good things about this beach resort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service by Paloma, the Reservation Manager. They even arranged for an early check-in, ensuring that our stay started off on a positive note. The resort's location right on the beach was truly breathtaking, offering stunning views and convenient access to the sand and surf. Additionally, the resort's restaurant had an incredible view, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there during our holiday.

Restaurant is extremely good, nice ambience, great view of sunset. Food taste is very good. Rooms are small and lack basic amenities. Not worth the price.

Amazing location with good service. The food was good and the place was clean. Value for money if you are looking to stay very close to the beach. With the price you pay you get an optimal room with a clean and hygienic environment. The place opens directly into the beach and also offers you water sporting activities.

A very thoughtfully designed resort ideal for a leisurely few days. The staff is very accomodating and goes out of the way to keep the visitors happy. We were a team of 21 but the whole stay was seamlessly managed. Wish Pele's the best !! Special shout out to Paloma whose promptness, methodical work and customer friendliness is really admirable.

An ideal place to stay if you are a beach lover. It's right on the beach and you have to climb down four steps to land on the sands and wade through sea water. A beautiful view of sea and sunset from the cafeteria. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Furniture items are of high quality wood and majestic. Cottages are independent, surrounded by variety of trees and flowering plants. Mr Pele, the owner himself is running water sports and a fitness freak. No other private property, including five star hotels, is having so easy access to sea. Altogether, it ia place one should frequent to refresh and relax.

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic beachside resort, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The location is simply stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the beach. One of the highlights of my stay was the wide range of water sports activities available. Whether you’re into snorkeling, jet skiing, or paddleboarding, this resort has it all. The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure I had all the necessary equipment and guidance for a safe and enjoyable experience. The resort itself is well-maintained and offers a variety of amenities to ensure your comfort and relaxation. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the on-site dining options were top-notch. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines relaxation with exciting water sports, I highly recommend this Pele’s fisherman village. It’s the perfect place to unwind, stay active, and enjoy the beauty of the beach and the sea. I can’t wait to return for another fantastic stay!”

The restaurant is amazing, ambiance is wonderful, too good hospitality and the view is also very good. It is quite romantic and great sea view… the food is very good, most importantly less oily food. Stuff’s behavior is also good. Service also. I was there with my husband and 7 month old baby, they gave me fresh juice and boiled water and boiled vegetables for my baby. It was baby/kid friendly. Visit this place, Of course you will enjoy the view

It’s an ideal vacation hotspot if you want to truly enjoy the beach - it’s touching the property and you can bathe in it, water sports are available and also have lunch - dinner at their own restaurant which is again beach facing. Perfect for a budget 2-3 day outing. Also many prime attractions are nearby. NOTE : No beef & pork is served here.

Pros: 1. Location. Right on the beach. Take a few steps down the stairs and you are on the beach which is not at all crowded. 2. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Cons. 1. Brace yourself if there is a power cut for more than 4 hours. We had to stay in the dark with no fans or light for the better half of the night as there was a power cut and their backup went off after 4 hours. Also, AC doesn't run on backup. After paying so much, if you cannot get a proper sleep, what else can be said about the place. A hotel which is charging so much must have a proper power backup. 2. Restaurant service is slow and price is on the higher side. 3. Superior rooms do not have any sea view as mentioned during booking.

This review is for the restaurant. The service was non-existant (there were few folks in the restaurant). We asked for water and two glasses. They didn't bring the glasses, we asked again and they brought one filthy glass. They were totally apathetic to our existence and so we paid for the water and left. If that is how they treat a guest when serving water, I wouldn't trust them with my food.

Pele's is located right on Belonim beach which is a beautiful beach with very less crowd, and is one of the unknown beaches in south goa. The cottages are entirely made up of wood and are well furnished and luxurious, with good washrooms. The cottages are not sea facing (which would have been awesome) but good thing is these are literally 30 secs away from the sea. Paloma, the manager, is very nice to talk to, courteous and available to help all along your stay. One hack:call them up before you book on MMT/Goibibo etc. You may get a good deal.

We were a group of 15 people + couple of infants and stayed at Pele's Fisherman Village in Sept. 2022. The campus has 2 types of accommodation - one is a villa which has 7 bedrooms and other is cottages. The campus is bang right on Benaulim beach. We had booked the entire villa of 7 bedroom for our group. Rooms are separate and not interlinked - ground floor is a 1bhk with a large living room + kitchen and 1 bedroom. 2nd floor has 6 rooms - one of which is equipped with kitchen. Rooms are neat, clean and spacious. Bathrooms are clean and tidy too. Kitchen is equipped with all the facilities - oven, fridge, induction, utensils. TV has major OTT subscriptions and wifi was top notch. The staff is very kind and polite and catered to our needs. They even helped us with early check in and late check out. Ample space is there to sit and relax in verandahs and outside the villa. They even have a karaoke system and projector. They have a restaurant which faces the beautiful beach with the most amazing sea view. Service is a tad bit slow but we didn't mind it. Food is good, though breakfast options were limited maybe because we went in off season. We felt as if it's a private property for us - due to such close proximity to beach. If going with a large group, definitely choose the villa, you will love the place.

Excellent location, bang on the beach , 24x7 views from edge of restaurant and path ways . Rooms are large , neat and clean , prompt service, quick check in (most important ). Food tasty, portions good but is tad pricey but given the location can understand .

Great place, great people… Can also enjoy staying in the cottages on the beach or lots of water sports choices, you can even go fishing with the fishermen and then have your catch for tea…. And Pele is Amazing-made my trip to Goa an amazing experience 🙏

A beautiful getaway with a walking footstep distance for the beach which is very much isolated and beautiful to watch. A guy named joseph is driver cum house keeper who is a very down to earth and a excellent service provider as well...the resort management is good as well...you can try this stay if you are looking for scenic beauty as well as the peaceful experience...

We chanced upon this as we were searching for a stay at a place near to the beach. And boy! did we hit a gold mine Loved our stay here, the place is very well maintained. They have their own private beach entry, so just a few steps and you step right into the clean beach. Service is prompt, Paloma, our host, was gracious and ever responsive. They don’t have an attached kitchen, but several beach shacks nearby for great food, or Swiggy and Zomato ever available for food delivery. Several water sports too available nearby to engage our time. All in all an awesome experience, with great memories to cherish.

Awesome place to visit with your family. We opted for a room along with kitchen. Very welcoming staff who never said no to anything. The property is right next to the beach with private entry to the beach. You can hire a bicycle right at the beach for a great experience.

This is a lovely space by Benaulim beach. Peaceful, green space where you can hear the sea. It has a nice sea view cafe which serves Indian, Chinese and Continental. Mr. Pele the owner of the property drops in to see if your stay is comfortable. It's a dog friendly place and would be lovely for stay with friends, family and pets. Totally recommend it.

We were 8 of us friends from two cities! We loved the place and the access to the private beach which is pristine and very safe without too many people around.. the accommodation was very good and Atique’s hospitality is appreciated. By the way, he makes amazing herbal tea!!!

Room was very clean and had a common balcony with the sea view. People who are managing the place are also very nice and best part about this apartment is its location. Its just on the beach and property is really beautiful.

Pele’s Fisherman Village is a superb place on a Benaulium beach. We had a weeklong stay with their Superior room and studio room, the rooms are spacious well maintained. The host Atique and the supporting staff is really good. They are helpful and greeted us. The place is just 2-3 minutes walking distance from Beach. Rooms has nice view. The place is cost friendly.

I will recommend this place to one and all. The host here and his family are a really nice bunch of people! They really make you feel at home and that is what they did to me and my family. The property comes with a beautiful and secluded private beach which hardly has any visitors! If you love doggos there are plenty there! The only drawback when I visited was that their restaurant was under renovation and couldn't really enjoy the delicious meals that I have heard of from others who have been there. I wish I had a longer time to stay. But will definitely be visiting the property soon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
