Location quite accessible from parts of roorkee and outskirts. 10-20 mins from roorkee bus stand (20 rs. Ride in autorikshaw) Mostly a bit less crowded than other stations, therefore also VERY LESS vendor shops to buy some snacks. The crossing bridge is at very good distance from entry point, you need not walk much to change the platform. Most of the northern trains arrive at platform 3. Also some new platfrom and tracks are in construction 🚧. They appears to be the luggage ones. Overall experience OKAY 👍.

Roorkee is all about itself, I personally feel safe here and it's very clean and calm city in Uttrakhand, and also so many spiritual things happen here time to time. So much devotional people of here.

When we go from Delhi to Haridwar or Dehradun, then you'll cross Roorkee. It is a nice place . Ganga canal passes alongside roorkee. Statio is neat and clean. You'll also find a reservation centre for advance railway tickets. When I booked a reservation ticket from the counter, staff is ok not so fast as you ll find in other private facilities.

Having visited the station and observed its facilities, I would like to share my review of the Roorkee Railway Station. Overall, Roorkee Railway Station is a functional and reliable railway station, which provides adequate facilities to passengers. However, some areas of improvement could be made to enhance the station's overall experience.

My overall journey here is wonderful.👍 Infrastructure is very good. Parking🅿️🚗 Available here. Wash rooms are clean. Alot of crowd👫👫 at night time.

Roorkee station is good. A old locomotive engine is standing outside there at the station for display. There is a piller on which a statue of National Emblem Ashoka Laat.

Very small station.. thr is no Ola cabs available here.. but the e- rikshaw are cheaper.. 40Rs from the station to IIT campus..don't ask the cab from the people standing inside the station asking for savari.. walk strait outside the arch to main road.. the e- rikshaw wala are there.. cheap n best

Popular place for travellers. Many people get out the train here so its peaceful.

It's beautiful if you reside near the Gang Nahar area. But here it lacks proper chemist shops, ATMs and other essential services and it's too dense if you choose to live in other locations.

One of the busiest railway station. It is so clean and we'll maintained with toilets and cold water dispenser. It has lot of greener spaces to rest while your train arrives.

IIT Roorkee is not only a collage, it is a dream of many students. IIT Roorkee is the pride of 175 years of India.

Simple.. not to much developed city.. everything get close @9 pm .. even you can't find anything medical store after 12am.

Little old railway station doesn't suits to a place having most reputed engineering institute of India. Shame on responsible authorities and agencies responsible for planning and delivering. Cleanliness and systems are okay. It's the first Big City to enter Uttrakhand State.

Very clean railway station. Rest room are also available here in plateform no one. Rooms are very good. Huge space in these rooms.

A great place to be, It's is a small city of Uttrakhand. Renounced by the IIT also for Bengal Engineering Group & Centre (BEG &C) for Army. Crowd and people here are nice. It also has Spritual significance As it is nearby to Haridwar (~35KMs).

I would love see people coming over in Roorkee. If you guys planning to visit Uttarakhand to see the hills of this state. Then you have made a great plan come over.

I am thoroughly enjoining the place. It has a reach history. City is clean and a quiet place. Located very near to weekend retreats like Dehradoon, Musouri, Hardwar etc. Local peoples are very friendly. Altogether a nice place unwind oneself after hectic city life.

A short visit to Roorkee from Amritsar. Moved from Amritsar on 23 May 22 by Dehradun Exp, reach by 24 May at 6.00 am and sitting back at night 12.40am to reach Amritsar at 9am on 25 May. It was a social work to get some documents from BEG Records to facilitate medical facilities to a widow. Rookee railway station and roads are very clean, greenery in the city and cantt is on top. Small hotels and change to fulfill local's need.

This place is good for waiting the trains and quite clean and not in messy. You can take the different types of transportations from here to your destinations. There has a sufficient waiting room and huge space makes you comfortable. But, lack of information board (Arrival/ Departure data) makes you not to rate the 5 star. You need to check your app: to see what's going on regarding to your train's information in here.

There aren't enough facilities on this station. Ladies waiting room was closed on 4th Aug. And gents room had fans totally busted. Regarding cleanliness, it is just as other stations, clean.
